Took my truck in for a flat repair and rotation. The tech took almost 2 hours to complete the service. I asked that the air pressure be Set to 50 psi ground and 55psi increase duals. Got truck back and noticed while driving home truck was making a scraping sound. Also riding very rough. When I got home I inspected truck and found a 9mm wrench wedged between brake backing plate and rotor. Also all 4 hub caps were left loose. Air pressure was at 65psi front, 107psi driver outside dual, 50psi inside dual, 100psi passenger outside dual and 50psi inner. Atlas he torqued lug nuts correctly. Just glad I can correct everything they screwed up. I know I will never go back to this location. read more

This place ripped off my elderly grandmother for almost $2,000 of unapproved work, including having replaced her tires with all terrain tires tires that rub the wheel wells because "it's a Tahoe." It's a two wheel drive driven by an elderly woman, and her tires were fine to begin with. Stay completely away and go to real auto shop that doesn't have to steal to make money. read more

BUYER BEWARE! Overpriced, Slow, Incompetent. $2000 for tires, cannot align wheels, tried to charge for unnecessary repairs. My run-flat tire was damaged; this was the closest tire store. On Saturday I was promised call when tires came in on Monday but required a $1500 deposit. Monday afternoon I called and was told 2 tires were in. I asked if they could at least put those on so I could use my car; they promised to put them on in twenty minutes. 90 minutes later, I had two tires, was told others would be in on Tuesday; I asked for refund of deposit. Wednesday, the other two tires were installed, wheels aligned and coolant added to A/C. Their computerized wheel alignment showed front wheels were okay despite obvious excessive wear from poor alignment, so no adjustments were made. Car pulled to the right as I drove away. Never going back. "Technicians" who are paid by the hour (hence slow) showed me "oil leak" and "coolant leak". Took the car to dealer; neither problem exists. Attorney suggests trying to work with corporate before going forward with his involvement. read more

A rip off joint! Their business model is to "up sell" things not needed . They will frequently refuse to repair standard road damages (such as nails punctures) insisting instead you purchase a new tire. Save your time and money by going to the Discount Tire around the corner (on Power, next to Golden Corral), where the information is reliable and the people are not shady. read more

These guys are not trustworthy and man are they slow! Took them over 5 hours to oil and lube my vehicle. Then they try and up-charge you with everything that is wrong. They told me my car was ready and they were pulling it around and when I got there, I still had to wait nearly 1/2 hour for them to deliver my vehicle - horrible service!! read more

My husband went in happy to take advantage of the great oil change and tire rotation special being offered. This being such a good deal he thought to call ahead and make an appointment that was set for two days later. In spite of the appointment he still waited an hour and a half for the job to be completed. While waiting he met another person who had been waiting 4 hours on service. After bringing our Cadillac escalade home he noticed broken clips for one center hub cap laying on the running board and the chrome original center cap worth 200.00 missing. My husband returned to the shop and made the complaint about the broken and missing part. He was told they have no idea where it is but he could buy a new one for 110.00. After having no choice but to agree they said they would call to set everything up and never did. Damage and possible theft is unacceptable when just getting an oil change and brand new tires rotated! read more

Just an Up-Date As I mentioned in my first review of this Con, I went in for an Oil change, was told my tire had a defect and I needed to replace it, that they cannot let me drive out on them (The Con). After reviewing what they had to offer I picked a set of Michelin tires. Several hours later, tires still not installed, I was told that they were not in stock at this location and were on a truck. Then I was told there was a delay and I needed to come back. Back next morning and 6 hours later still no tires (must be coming from New York or something). Near the end of the day the manager offered me a set of Big-O-Tires until the set I paid for came in, that was July 2013. September 2013, new manager called and asked what they needed to do to make me happy and remove the bad reviews - Install the tires I paid for. He said come on in, we will take care of you, I did. Your front end is out of aliment we will have to fix that first - $65, after they finished - Oh the tires had to be ordered!!! Went across the street to Sun Devil Auto and had them look at the front end aliment, told them that a shop down the street did some work and I wanted to have it checked out. They said, sorry but the front end of this car has never had any service. I took the car to the dealer and they confirmed that no adjustments were ever Made on my car!! I came to Big O Tires to have them check on a flat for my daughter's car. She was on her way out of town to San Diego, so needless to say we were in a bind because she had to be there by 5. After barely looking at the tire, they said the tire could not be fixed and sold me a $118 tire for a nissan cube. The tire was perfectly fine to be fixed - object was not on the side wall and the piece of metal was not deep in the tire. The tire had lots of tread left on it (7/32 or more than half the tread left). Had he actually inspected the tire, he would have seen it could be fixed. They also told me that it was a comparable tire (sumitomo) to the one she had yokohama avid which I was told is not the case. I guess they are more interested in selling tires then doing the right thing by their customers. read more

I needed new tires and an oil change. Thinking I could have everything done at once I took it there. Worst mistake... I agreed to the alignment, the car now pulls extremely hard to the right when it never did before, will cost more money to fix. I drove the car once and it drove terribly... Got it home and there was no oil in the car. I call the store and they send a tow truck. When I don't hear from the manager, I call to get an update. He's the worst. Don't bother. He says I don't know how to check oil because it was fine; he checked it himself. My fault for not videoing it. Then he finds a bunch more stuff wrong with it AND he wants me to pay for the tow. Don't ever go here. 100% was treated badly by the manager and they tried to take advantage of me because I was a female. The misogyny is nauseating with him. The rest of the staff was very polite. I still have on a check engine light that was never an issue before taking it in, and tire sensor lights they say I have to just ignore. read more

Got an alignment done. Scheduled an appt at 8am on a Saturday, shop wasn't busy took them almost 3 hours to do a simple 2 wheel alignment. Place has low stars for a reason... horrible customer service. Not to mention my alignment is still NOT correct now i have to go back for a realignment. Should have just paid the money for the dealer to do it. At least it would be right and in a timely matter. read more

After being told they could fit me in in 15-20 minutes and that fixing my tire (it had a nail in the middle of the tread) would take 15 minutes, I waited for over 3 hours for them to fix it. I have 2 kids that had to wait with me, a one year old and a 3 year old. Seriously terrible service and terrible communication. I will never be back and I urge you to go somewhere else. If you have to to, ask for John. He may be the only one to help. read more

Had an old 1999 Ford F-350 in there for tire service, and their inspection process told me I needed my transmission fluid replaced. Little did they know, I just had my transmission removed to replace a bad torque converter, so upon that. they installed all new fluid. So.. apparently, they looked at the condition of the truck, and thought they could sell me a transmission fluid flush... I told the owner Ken this, and he just smiled and said, whoops!... Had a good experience with everyone we dealt with up front, but upon receiving our vehicle we found that $70 had been stolen from us. They serviced our Sprinter van, which happens to be our traveling home at the moment, so it's not like we have any place to remove our belongings and put elsewhere. There is a certain level of trust you have to have in order to leave your vehicle with someone and that trust was entirely broken. Would have continued going there if it weren't for this incident. Called ahead for an 11 am oil change before we were to head out of town, when we got there they told us they wouldn't be able to have it completed until closer to 3 pm. Why call ahead to get on the books if it's going to take 4 hours for an oil change! That is beyond disappointing and had we known we could have made other arrangements. I was a loyal Discount Tire customer but decided to give Big O Tire a chance, just because they are open on Sundays. Originally I ordered some Big O Tires brand tires but decided to upgrade before the tires had been installed. They wanted to charge a restocking fee even though I was buying a more expensive tire. They agreed to waive the fee after some arguing and threatening that that fee would be the last dollar of mine they would receive. Great. Had the new tires installed on new Fuel brand wheels. No problem. Later had the tires rotated, which for them is an all day affair. Then I went about two years before having them rotated again. I try to do it around Christmas, when I go on a road trip, but I missed a year. I go to have them rotated today. They do the rotation and give me the keys. I check all the Allen wrench bolts on the lug covers. I'm missing one. I tell them. Apparently they cross-threaded it the last time and sheared the head off this time, but weren't going to say anything. I ask them what they are going to do about my wheel with damaged threads. Because it has been two years, they don't believe they were the last to remove the wheels, and therefore are not responsible. Unbelievable. Do not take your vehicle to these people. They apparently can't be trusted to notify you when they break something and if you don't notice it right away they won't take responsibility for damages. read more

This place is horrible!!! Do not go there at all! I took my wife's car in for the oil change special on Dec 26 at 10:30 AM, I was told it should be done by 2:00 PM WOW just for an oil change 4 hours???? WOW well we had other things to do plus another vehicle so I just said fine and left. We stopped in around 5:30 PM and were told we were next for the oil change. COME ON!!!! That's 7 hours and you have not done anything yet? I would hate to get tires from them it would take a couple of days to install them at this rate. I went in with a coupon for $10 off an oil change. I knew they would charge me for the synthetic oil but he still said I would get the $10 off. While it is true they gave me ten dollars off, they also added $9.99 in labour over and above the normal price. So basically, I didn't get any kind of a deal from that coupon. I brought my car in, needed 1 tire that couldn't be repaired. The car had high end Big O tires already on it. They would not honor any warranty on the tire because I was not the original buyer, I bought the car (used) with the tires already on it. The tire was a Big O tire, so what's the difference who brings it in? The guy gave me a price, didn't offer any discount or even a prorated price on the tire. He didn't nothing to get my business. So I went to Discount tire, bought a comparable tire, with lifetime warranty and still saved $35! read more

Sent my mom in there because she a tire light on. Instead of just putting air in her tires, they actually looked at her car and found and avoided a potentially serious problem. Her inner edge of her tires were worn to the point of coming apart. They found her an affordable set to fit her car. They corrected the alignment so that her new tires would not suffer the same issue. Her being a little naive, she was put at ease by being shown the problem so she knew why and where her money went. this is my 2nd review.. Thought i was done with never going back to Big O tires but they struck again. WE got a credit card charge on a card that i never ordered. We were to get a 50.00 dollar card to be used because we had 4 new tires installed.We tried to use it at a restaurant but found out it can only be used at Big O.So went back and got an oil change and used the card.Thought we were done and low and behold we get a invoice from a credit card company for the oil change for 39.07.. and the tech was told to top off the antifreeze.He not only didn't top off the antifreeze he didn't top off the windshield fluid and that's just the stuff you can see.Very Very disappointed in this Company.........The only way i gave them a one star is for the price of the tires. read more

I will give them credit for making time for me but that's the nicest thing I can say. They have a sale going on for their tires, buy one get one free. The second one isn't free at all, they charge you $80 to align and balance them and then make you get a warrantee on them. I left with an oil change and two new tires, one of them being "free" and my bill was still $270. Not to mention they broke my oil dip stick and refused to pay for it. My check engine light came on 3 days after I left their shop. When I returned they estimated me $375 dollars for a part that wasn't even broken. I have always gone to Red Mountain Tire and Auto (who are conveniently right down the street) and I recommend them any day over this place that takes advantage of their customers. read more

I stopped in yesterday for an oil change.... Easy Cheesy, right.... Well the guy on the phone just gave me a "yes, we can do it, bring it in"... So I did. When I got there the chap that was taking my info asked if the guy on the phone had let me know they were running about an 1.5 hour wait time due to their tire sale? I said no, but shrugged it off. As he continued to take my info he once again mentioned it would be about 1.5 - 2 hours... Again I shrugged it off.... My oil change took a little over 2.5 hours... I didn't have anywhere to be....but I had grown tired of waiting... So twice I went out to the counter to inquire about "how much longer?".... I tried to be tactful but I feel as I wasn't as tactful as I had wanted to be.... Regardless, the employees were kind. When I went to leave and pay for my oil change....the employee took care of me and made all right!! Even exclaimed "thanks for your somewhat patience...I know it took longer than estimated." First let me say the staff was very friendly. Having said that, I had an 8am appointment for an oil and filter change on my Sonata. I got there at 7:55am. They took the car back around 8:30am about 9am they showed me the air filter and recommended a replacement I said ok. At 10am I'm still setting in the waiting room, can't see my car anywhere (there is a large glass window that looks into the work bays). Went out and walked around the building and there's my car with the hood up and no air filter in it. Came back inside and asked about it. Was told they got the wrong filter and had to go back to the auto store (my first thought was why didn't you take the old one with you to match it up). It's now 10:30 (2 and a half hours after my appointment time) and still no word on my car. At 10:45am they called me to the desk and said my car was done. I thought they would offer something in a small compensation for the looong wait, but nothing.  So would I recommend them for service NO... I mean really 3 hours for a oil/oil filter and air filter change. I'm 71 and have had a lot of oil changes and this by far was the longest wait ever. read more

When I tried to work with them they tried to have me take it somewhere else so they could pin liability on that place. No one would touch it because of the liability issue. Went there to get a simple oil change, he ask if I wanted to do a clean up of the fuel system. They say it's 89.00 but they will give it for 69.00 because you are getting an oil change. I at first said ok, then I asked my husband and he told me go tell them no, I will take care of it. So I went back in and told them , just do the oil change. The associate was a bit rude, but said ok. I pick up my car about 3 hr. Later. Drove off and to was not running well, it wAs vibrating and running rough. So husband took it back and the cooling fan was broken. It wAsn't broken when I took it in, you decide what happen. The broken fan cost us 500.00 to fix. Now I wonder now if I even got an oil change. My front rim's camber was off so much it wore the inner tire wall down to the cords. A good Samaritan spotted it when I was at the gas station and said something (thank you, sir!) and this set me fuming about the last visit to the dealership "service dept". My hubby took it over to this close by Big O and set an appointment with Trevor the next day. We decided on top of getting new tires all around, we were going to have them re-do all the fluids (there was some funny metallic silt from the coolant flush?) The quotes and delivery time were right on. This is worth 3.5 stars minimum to me. Over the weekend the check engine light came on again so we took it back over to Trevor and his team and asked him to also check a front vibration and scrapping sound...they adjusted caster, rebalanced a wheel and pulled a nail from another wheel, all under warranty. At this point this is a 5+ star rating. Trevor quoted to replace the mass air sensor and now she's good as new. This Big O is now my go to for all tires and undercarriage work, no good reason to go to a dealership other than recall work. I am relieved and grateful to have this place nearby. read more

We were looking for a very specific tire size, and decided to call Big-O Tires on McKellips and Power rd. For the "Buy any 2 tires, get 2 any 2 free". This promotion was the only reason we called in the first place. When we spoke to Dwayne he said they didn't have the tire size in stock but would check and "YES" you will get the "Buy 2 get 2 " deal. I received a voicemail from Jamie the next day saying they can order them. When i called back, I spoke to Dwayne again, he asked what brand Jamie found in the warehouse, so I let him know the brand and tire size again, but he couldn't find them in the computer, so again he said that Jamie would call me the next day, so I said "ok but we are still getting the buy 2 get 2 deal right?" He said he wasnt sure but woll check because of the size. Now today when i called and spoke to Jamie he said he can order them for 100 each bringing the total to over 500 for all 4 tires. I asked about the b2g2 deal and apparently it wasn't for the size I needed (205-40-16). This is BS! I needed to get these tires becaise the ones I have on there now are bald and i cant drive my son in the car with the tires in the condition they're in now. How can you advertise saying "any 2 tires" except the one I needed? I dont ever leave review but this is false advertising as well as misleading information. I could have used this time to get a tire from a place that actually keeps their word. They wasted my time by lying to me and have forever lost business with my family, friends and myself. read more

Took my 2015 F-150 in due to abnormal wear on my tires and steering wheel out of alignment and they had it aligned as close to perfect as you can get. I'm always OCD about my steering wheel being exact so I'm glad they took the time to get it just right but they also had it done very quickly. I never have a bad time with these guys. read more

Meh. I called to try to get my warranteed tire checked for a leak after taking my friend there a few weeks earluer. I wasn't able to get a useful answer about what to expect on the phone so I drove in instead. The guy looked at me as if I was stupid when I said that no, I did not have a ride to take me elsewhere to wait since it was going to be "atleast 3 hours" before they would know if they could fix or replace my tire. I had a slow leak...not a flat tire! I told him i would have to come back. As I got back in my car, I noticed another tire store across the street. I went over there just to see if they would honor my warranty. Unlike Big O, they were willing to look right away...and after 15 minutes, they called me up. I expected to be find out next steps and instead they told me they found 2 nails, it was fixed, no charge and I could now meet someone outside as they drove my car up to me. A far cry from Big O quoting me 3 hours? Nope. read more
