These guys are awesome. I had my Cadillac in at the dealership recently and they recommended new brakes and rotors for $1150. I decided to get another opinion and took it here. They are friendly and awesome to deal with over the phone. They quoted me about $950 and that was also if it needed the break lines flushed. So, I dropped it off that same week. I went ahead in to work and they called me that morning to say my brakes were actually still good for at least 5,000 miles and the rotors would be fine until the brakes needed replaced. I thought it was fantastic that they were honest enough to tell me that, and I will definitely take my car back here when the work needs done, as well as any future work. Awesome people! read more

He walked out with me to analyze my remaining tires, worked closely to meet my budget, and overcame expectations by completing the repairs that same day. Have had my vehicles serviced here since moving to the area last year. They are always responsive and have done a great job on everything from oil changes, tire replacements to brake repairs. Well, I wish I would have had a better experience. I needed an alignment and called John the day before for an appointment. He said they don't take appointments but to call him the next day a couple hours ahead and he'd get my car in. I did that, John wasn't available but I talked to KT and he said no problem. When I got there at the time I'd committed to KT had forgotten to write it down, but Andrew said "no problem, we'll get you right in." So I gave him the keys and left. When I came back over an hour later to pick up my car, Andrew said it hadn't been worked on - there was an oil truck parked in front of the bay and it (paraphrasing) basically wasn't his problem. That made me mad and I asked for my keys back. Andrew didn't apologize for the inconvenience and I left. read more

*REPLY TO THEIR REPLY*. That's a lie and you know it. I was never offered a full diagnostic of my vehicle. All I asked for was a simple explanation of why my check engine light was on. I guess that was too much to ask. I will never go back to any of your locations for any service. Colorado tire down the street treated me better. Well after the experience I had last year I decided to continue to take mine and my wife's car here for oil changes. During my recent oil change I asked the curly haired guy at the front counter if he could hook my truck up to the diagnostic machine because my check engine light ha came on. As I was paying I asked him what they found out, he handed me my receipt with a bunch of codes with letters and numbers. I asked him what that all meant, he said "You can google it" WTF! I pay $100 an oil change to get told to google it!? I ended up going to auto zone where they not only gave me the codes but they explained what the codes meant and gave me the steps to resolve it and it worked. That's the last straw for me. I've been to this store on many occasions and have always been give a square deal, best service and lowest prices. Last week I needed 2 front tires. I called ahead and spoke with a fella name of Kalan. He set me up for the next morning and in short order had two tires off, two new ones on and all four tires filled with nitro. They gave me several options which all beat the competitors prices and even had my tires shipped express to their store. Was very unhappy with the outcome and the service from Big O. Took my car in for a leakage issue and for the tires to be rotated. They fixed the leakage issue but never rotated the tires. Tires indicator light was on when I took the car in and the next day it was still on so my tires never were checked and all four tires were low. Had my car detailed three days prior and the headliner came back dirty. read more

I went in to get new tires and an oil change, first experience the lady in the office was rude But no big deal figured I would be fine, so I asked for the tires and oil Change got everything rolling and waited for it to be done they ended up not doing the oil change but did top off the oil because it was a little low, So I got in my car and went home. The car sat over night and I got into it the next day and left to take my son to work with My grandson and his mom in the car also, Everything was fine till we got on the highway and the hood flew up and broke the windshield, luckily we were all ok and managed to get the car to the side of the road safely. We were all ok but the car was not. We had not thought to check the hood as it was professionals, SO I got someone to come get everyone and got the car home, I called Big o Tires and got the same rude lady who gave me attitude and told me I had to wait to talk to the owner on Monday so I waited. On Monday I did receive a call from the same lady saying that the tech did admit and say he was not sure if he got the hood closed or not but did not tell us so the owner was going to pay for the damages and just go get a price for a new windshield. I explained it was not just the windshield that it was the hood and the top of the car was dented and the panels that are along the side of the windshield and she then just told me to go get a quote and they would take care of it. SO I did get on and it added up to $7,750 so about 5 weeks later I finally got the quote to them. A couple of days later someone calls me from their insurance asking me what happened I explained the whole thing to them and now they are gonna send out an insurance adjuster, so he comes and I am waiting again. It has been 2 months without a car and now they are going to pay me for what my car is worth and not fix it and to top it off I still owe on the car and have no car to drive and due to having to pay on the current car I am unable to get a new one and when I expressed this to them they said its not their problem. Worst 2 months and still ongoing because I even got the new tires that have not even been driven on and they are gonna take those to which is another $700 down the drain. read more

So, in my move to Denver I bought a used truck. I took it to get its emissions test yesterday and it failed. A little bummed, I asked two friends for a good auto shop recommendation that was close. They passionately, vehemently recommended Big O Tires at 120th & Washington. I didn't even know they did non-tire repairs. So, I dropped it off this morning. I had an inexpensive repair, when I picked up the truck after work..... THEY HAD PROOF OF A PASSED EMISSIONS TEST. That's right, they did the repair and then they drove the truck to the testing place, **waited in line and got it retested.** Then, when I went to pay my bill at the end of the day, I saw other people in the shop, however, they still made me feel like I was the only customer on earth. I am new to the area and was looking for a good place to get/keep my cars maintained and let me tell ya, this place is amazing. After a terrible interaction with the scam that is Grease Monkey on 136th and Colorado, I ended up calling Big O Tire to get a quote on a simple oil change and tire rotation. Grease Monkey quoted me $110 and said I would need full synthetic oil, Big O Tire was actually honest and said my car takes synthetic blend - I ended up going there and walked out the door with an oil change and tire rotation for $36 ($26 after the coupon I found online). Can you believe I would have paid $110 for the same exact service at Grease Monkey? The place is first come first served, but that's not an issue for me. I pulled up to a packed parking lot and was still in and out in about an hour. They have free wifi and a decent seating area to wait in. The guy checking me in noticed that I was at about the 30k mile mark and of course I instantly though "great, how much is this going to cost me?" It was a pleasant surprise when the gentleman said that it wouldn't cost me any extra because all my car needed was the oil change and that he would just log in the system that they were doing the "30k Maintenance". He just wanted to make sure I had it logged that I took my car in for the milestone service so that if I had some issue with my car, the dealer would see I did all regular maintenance and I wouldn't have any issues the warranty. How awesome is that? Most places charge hundreds of $ for milestone service but he was honest and said I didn't need anything else. This is even more impress considering I am a young female who ventured into an auto shop alone - generally the prime candidate for being taken advantage of in terms up trying to up-sell. Great experience! As a female who doesn't know much about cars.. it can always feel a little daunting when a car issue crops up. I called with a front end shudder problem which I thought might be caused by warped rotors and that same day (within an hour) they had me down to the shop. They provided an estimate for us quickly, carefully explaining what we needed and were able to schedule the car for repairs the next day. While the costs were higher than I was expecting -- for the amount of work they were doing I decided to have it done because they seemed honest/genuine and I'm glad I did! During service they broke a part getting things back together (not their fault, Northern Illinois rust had set in) but didn't charge us for the new part or the extra time it took to get things back to normal. We're very satisfied and will return should we need. read more
