Bought a set of new tires at this location. Had them installed on a set of aftermarket wheels. Just for my own peace of mind, I checked the torque of the lug nuts when I got home. Almost 80 lb. ft. difference from low to high. From low of 50 lb. ft. to high of 130 lb. ft. Even re-torquing them to a proper amount, the disc brake rotors had been warped! Technicians that do NOT care about the customers cars. Poor service is remembered long after a low price is forgotten. read more

I usually go to the dealership where I purchased my car but I have now find my new go to spot for maintenance. I came in on a late Friday afternoon hoping to get my oil changed. I was actually planning to just make an appointment because I figured they'd be close to being done for the day. After joking around with the friendly guys at the counter for a minute I was actually pleased to find out they could get me in right away! That itself would've made me love this place. They took my car back and not even 10 minutes later I hear my name called. All I could think was "Grrrreat, here comes the first attempt to upsell me" but it was actually the complete opposite. The guy helping me out told me my battery had failed the initial test. He said he could try selling me a battery but chances are it's covered by my warranty seeing as my car is only a 2013. Sure enough I contacted my dealership and it's completely covered! I'll be seeing the dealership for my free battery but any other kind of maintenance needed I'm coming right back here! I cannot say enough about the customer service at this establishment. I have been there numerous times getting my tires checked, usually with my extremely active 16 month old. Usually it's the worst taking a kid to these places, but the guys made it fun, gave my son balloons, even jumped me ahead(sorry if it was you, but thanks!), and explained everything to me. When I recently slid into a curb because of the snow in our awd, I took it immediately to big o. They told me they were the shop and they would take care of everything. They got my wheel and two new tires earlier than expected and got the work done faster than expected. They helped me get the best deal possible and always gave me options vs. Just "telling" me what I'm going to do like a lot of other places. I was treated with respect and they answered all my questions. John was the one who always helped me and he is an extremely nice man and seriously looks out for his customers. What a fantastic place! I got a nail in my tire and brought it in. I'm tire ignorant so I told them to do what they have to do, including replacing the tire, to get me going again. They patched it for no charge and explained to me why my check engine light is on. (Don't ask me to regurgitate that, I haven't got a clue.) Got a flat tire up in the mountains Sunday afternoon with no service and my car was packed full because I'm moving from San Diego to NH. Strapped the tire to the roof and hobbled down the mountain. I have a friend in town and she suggested Big O Tire. At 7am Monday morning I called and spoke to John and he said to come right down and they'll have me all fixed up in an hour - and he wasn't lying! He got me all set up with a new tire to get me home to NH, and showed me that the rest of my tires were actually running pretty low, too. He suggested I get a cheap tire that would get me home and then when I got home I could get 4 new tires. He was not trying to sell me a crazy expensive tire to make his profit, he genuinely wanted to help me get from point A to point B the cheapest and safest way possible! John saved my trip!!!! I received better service from the one in Lakewood. The staff didn't seem all that professional. I went in and they told me there would be a wait and to come back in in 45 minutes. So I left and came back exactly 45 min later and it took them like 15 minutes to get to my car. I was on my lunch break for work so I wasn't pleased at the wait time. They also told me that my car's battery was almost dead. I kind of disagree with that as it's been 2 weeks now and my car still starts up fine. read more

Fantastic business that takes care of it loyal customers. Was having problems with my speedometer and odometer not working and I took it up here to have them run some diagnostics on it to figure out what was wrong and if it was fixable. Mike took the car for me and said he needed it for a couple of hours. A couple hours later, they called me back and told me I needed a new instrument cluster and that it was a relatively easy fix. They didn't even charge me for diagnostics. Very reliable service, a great crew and a clean environment. What more can you ask for? read more

These guys mostly have their stuff together. Having worked in a garage before, I tend to see what's on the wall, their bulletin board, any general reminders (check everything twice, keep things clean, etc), and so forth... And they have all of that. Brody looked at a receipt I got from a Big O's about a week ago for a used tire that went flat on me and promptly took a look at the tire himself. Pretty soon about 5 guys were inspecting this tire trying to figure out why it was doing what it was. So eventually this fellow suggested that it could be the barcode sticker that was causing the leak from just under the lip of the rim. Turned out he was right, and I wasn't sold a bad tire a week ago (dire mountain circumstances). Point is, they identified a problem, quickly fixed it, and volunteered to rotate my tires seeing that the treat on my back tires is better than the front. No charge. Good People. read more

My vehicles are my pride and joy, and are very necessary in Colorado. So it's important to have someone you can rely on to service your vehicles. I used to work on my vehicles for basic to medium sized jobs, but over the years I don't have enough time anymore. I'm happy I gave this place a shot as I find it difficult to trust mechanics with doing the job correctly and honestly. These guys are very friendly and very honest. They are very busy but they will usually always get to your car if the job isn't extremely time consuming, even if it means they stay late after they're already closed. Not many mechanics will work past their normal business hours - this place delivers. read more

I took my truck here a couple of times. Once, the repair I got was smallish, but I had to ask what was necessary. This immediately brought the price down because they add extra work into their initial estimates. As far as I know the work they do is good, but they add unneeded repairs into the estimates. The second time is the last time I'll go. The estimate was +$1000 for overheating. I was told that several items in the cooling system needed replacing. Truth is, only one was the problem. When I asked what was necessary, the price got knocked to +$600, I asked for a simple breakdown of costs, but that was not clear. So I got a second opinion. The repair to the single item that had broken got fixed for $260 - same as that shop's initial findings and estimate. Can't speak for their other services, but I'm not taking my truck back here for an estimate on repairs. read more

My wife and I had been going to this location for the past three years, and service was good. Back in January or so we needed tires on my wife's car, a Suzuki SX4. She took it down and had them change the oil while they were at it. Got the car back and it was leaking oil, and two of the tires went flat. She took it back to them two times before they got it right. They told her they installed the wrong oil filter. They didn't offer an explanation for the tires. Maybe they didn't get the valve screwed in tight, maybe they didn't seal the rim bead, or maybe the tires were defective. After that kind of ordeal I'd expect some sort of comp - a free oil change, free air filter, something. But no. They did apologize in a standard operating procedure sort of way, like it was no big deal. "Sorry about that. Next!?" I guess it's not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things. I mean, it's an American problem, right? I have plenty to eat and don't have to worry about revolutionaries carrying my children away on horseback. But I digress. Whatever the case, it was a hassle. Given all the good reviews I see here maybe we'll go back and give them one more shot. I give them two stars in recognition of the good service I'd received previously and of the possibility that this was an isolated one-time thing. Nonetheless, I'm now using Les Schwab in Reunion for now. read more

Our check engine light was on for a while, then our car started running rough. My husband who is mechanically inclined, did what he could but didn't fix it so my dad recommended this Big O, as opposed to the one right down the street as they had treated him right in the past, and if anyone would know, it would be my dad. Took it in one Saturday with a part my husband thought it was so they could install it and check out anything else that might be wrong, said it was fixed Sunday, drove it home and before we got there, the light came back on and the car again was running rough, They did install the part though, normally they wouldn't as it wasn't purchased there. Took it back the next weekend, said it was fixed the same day, again the check engine light came on as we drove home. Called again, brought it back, they kept it till Sunday, again said it was fixed, you get the idea....same thing happened. Took it back and finally after another 2 days SUCCESS! Though driving two cars back and forth for 6+days was not good, they did refund part of the labor charges and overall were pretty nice to work with. I would recommend them though feel another garage, auto shop would probably have fixed it the first or maybe second time. read more

There were some other things that they could have done to make my ride "smoother" but they assured me I didn't need to do it right away. They took me in pretty close to closing time which helped me out a lot since I needed my vehicle for work at the time.
