I've bought tires here in the past for my F-250 and had a pretty good experience; other than tire pressures not being set as I had requested. They've also put brake pads and rotors on my truck in the past. I stopped in several times over that last few months to have them check my brakes because I was continually hearing a squeaking sound that had become an occasional grinding noise. Every inspection yielded a "your brakes look great. Probably Just brake dust"' response. Last Friday afternoon I stopped In again and told them I'm no longer buying the brake dust theory and asked that they give them a thorough check. The Technician who checked them said one of the rotors was warped and asked if I regularly pulled trailers. I responded I typically don't pull trailers but do have a small trailer that I had pulled about 40 miles a month ago but it has trailer brakes..... and they work. The service writer (Carl) wrote up the service request for pads and rotors and scheduled me for service installation Saturday AM. They understood that I use this truck for my business and agreed to get it in and out quickly as long as I arrived first thing Sat. AM. I arrived at 7:00 AM (but couldn't get in until 7:30). Met Carl again who said once the truck was in the the shop my service should take 1-1/2 to 2 hrs. I agreed to wait on it and asked that they also rotate the Big O tires while they have it on the rack. He agreed to get that done as part of today's service. At +/-10:00, I learned they found the caliper on the warped rotor had a seized pin which was causing the pad to drag and would take a bit longer to replace. (That's obviously what had been causing the noise I had been asking them to check out previously and also caused the rotor to warp.) At 11:30 I asked Carl how much longer it would be. Without checking with the shop, he replied it should be done pretty soon. at 1:30 I noticed the truck was off the rack and parked outside. I told Carl it appears the work must finally be completed since the truck is parked outside. He said the brakes were done and they were just waiting for a bay to open up so they could rotate the tires. At this point I was out of patience. I had already been there 6 hours for the 2-hour service. I asked to forget about the tire rotation and I'll pay for the complete front brake service ($880.00), most of which should have been averted if anyone had really done a "brake inspection" the previous 2 times I had the truck there for just that. I think their "free" brake inspection consisted of just checking the pad wear the previous 2 times. On the positive side, there was some benefit to sitting in their waiting area for 6 hours. Other than getting some paperwork done, that I had brought with me, I witnessed several other very disgruntled customers returning to aire their displeasure with services they had received. I always thought this place was different than the others. I'm now convinced it's not. They're OK for tires but I'll be taking my mechanical issues to an independent ASE Certified mechanic in the future. My time is more valuable to me than the few dollars I might save coming here. read more

Ken was super nice, got me in and out for checking in for my appointment and my car was done within two hours. Got a once over on my car, oil change and they fixed my broken strut mount. Reasonable priced as well. Super friendly on the phone and when I came to pick up my car. Super Satisfied. read more

Came here on New Years Eve, and during this time I was rushed to get out the door so they can close early. They would not explain what the issue was with my tire, and referred me to another BIG O on 120th and Washington, which had no issues on helping me and I was not feeling like i was being shoved out the door. I came her twice and both times had a bad experience, I would choose a different location if you are seeking great service. read more

Customer service was outstanding the information given to me about what I needed done and preventative maintenance in the future that is needed done on my vehicle will not be as big of an issue because of the thorough and outstanding quality Care they seem to give their customers. I'm not the first one to say this read the reviews I had four tires put on four wheel alignment CVT transmission flush and oil change fluid check brake check and a bit of other work done in an hour and 45 minutes done right showed me what was done show me what needed to be done in the future and we're not pushy at all. Not only am I happy with their customer service I'm happy with the quality of service they provided I feel the price for everything I had done was the best price around and I wish other shops would really pick up on what's going on here. It has restored my faith and small mechanic shops that if you don't know much about cars and take it to this shop they will not try to oversell or exceed the budget you're on or push you into brakes and rotors it was awesome thank you guys I'll be coming back read more

I installed new rear tires 235/45/17 vs 225/45/17. I knew because of this that I was going to have camber issues because of the taller wheel. Also, I knew my toe was off because my car pulled a little to the left. I went to Big O and was quoted 79.99 for a 4 wheel alignment, which Brady stated was for toe, camber, and caster ("whatever it takes to get the wheel aligned"). I was in a hurry to leave because they took over an hour and a half to do my alignment. After, realizing that they only adjusted toe and did not touch camber on any wheel, I called them. I spoke to a manager and he stated that camber was not touched because I did not have enough adjustment for camber. I mentioned to him that I installed a camber kit for that reason. He said that I had to get new struts. What?! New struts, what for? He stated it was to get the camber alignment done right. The manager treated me like I did not know about cars. I told him that my struts were good and that it had nothing to do with camber adjustment. I could not get anywhere with the manager. I stated that I was dissatisfied with their work and he said that there was nothing they could do. From previous experiences (at Big O Tires), I have had my camber adjusted (that's the whole reason for the camber kit). The manager basically told me that I could go somewhere else, that they did not and were not going to adjust the camber. Now, I am stuck with -0.5, -0.9, -1.3, and -0.5 for the front left, front right, rear left, and rear right, respectively, for camber. I told him that this was going to wear out my tires faster than normal and he said there was nothing he could do. I paid 79.99 for a toe adjustment. Neither camber nor caster were adjusted. I will never be visiting this Big O again. read more

I just went into the Big O tire store on 104th and Colorado in Thornton. Mike got a flat repaired for me in just a few minutes with no charge. I've been going to this store for a couple decades and have always been treated fairly and quite well. I would recommend Mike and this Big O store for any of your car repair and tire needs. read more

We have had nothing but problems since we purchased tires from this store. Less than a year after purchasing four quality tires, one of them blew out randomly while on the highway. Took in the tire and they said that it was our fault for "running it on low for too long" - NOT the case at all. But we sucked it up and paid for a new tire of the same brand. Less than 5 months later, the same thing happens and after being paranoid about it since the first incidence, we now always check our tires - it was NOT low before it blew out. I took it in - sales guy says it's definitely just a blow out, doesn't look like a run low problem so it shouldn't be a problem to get in a new tire in and have it covered by the one-year warranty. He said he would get back to me in the next day. Cut to 3 days later and I have to call to find out that because they would have to turn in our tire to another vendor to get it back to the manufacturer to determine if it's covered by warranty (which should take up to a month, no less), why don't I just buy 4 new tires (that I wouldn't need) or a used one. No talk of replacing it since they know it will be covered. I want to talk to the manager, but he's not there so I leave a message for him to call me back. Doesn't call me back so after 3 days (again), I call and he tells me a different story that it was run low for too long (I looked at it 5-10 minutes before it popped, it was not low) and didn't agree with the first guy who looked at it. I'm picking up my tire from them and going to corporate. This is a racket, not customer service. read more

I had a very small tire job in late 2017. I went to 2 different stores before going to this big-O. The experience was so good, I told myself I would take my business there in the future. Whelp, the future is now, and I'm pleased to say I feel great about that decision. Cameron and Tara were fantastic and had me in and out in great time and were very pleasant throughout. Dropped off my car to have oil change and 2 new tires. Told me I could pick up next day no later than 9 am. Car not do e told another hour. Went back at 2 pm and paid my bill of $230....got out to car, old tires still on car. Wondering if they thought they could pull a quick one because Im a woman. No one seemed particularly remorseful. read more

Took my car in for a simple oil change, staff was nice, and I've taken my car to their sister store (NTB) where my dad was a manager, but never got a sticker as to when I should get my next oil change which is annoying. This was about a month ago, but that's not the point of this review. Today I was forced to bring my car into another shop for a knocking noise, I thought was related to needing an alignment and maybe a little air in my tire, so 100$ later, I find out that my front drivers side tire was about to FALL OFF MY CAR. When BigO does an oil change they include a free tire rotation where they FAILED to tighten the lug nuts on the tire. So, I could have killed myself or another person because of their complete carelessness over something so freaking simple!! I will be going to corporate and I will be getting reimbursed for the work I just got done and will never recommend nor go back to ANY BigO Tires. You just cost the ENTIRE company money, not just your store. Congrats, round of applause! read more

The people are nice but I question their integrity. I took my truck in to have the tires balanced and rotated and they tried to get $1500 out me for rotors, brake pads and rear ball joints. Had my mechanic look at it and tell me that the ball joints were fine and didn't need to be replaced. Rotors and breaks pads did but I was not about to pay $1200 for something that cost $300. read more

*******ONLY WORK WITH THE ASST MANAGER***** I was there with a friend of mine and what I saw made me not want to come back here. The employees are very rude and not professional. My friend just wanted an oil change and tire change. Well Aaron the sales man was very rude to her. Told her that she HAD to have all of this work done or her car would fall apart. It was going to cost her over 2k. She kept telling him to just do what she asked for and he would not let up on that she had to have the work done. I told her to ask for the manager and what a surprise he was not there and it was a Saturday. She ended up talking to the Asst Manager and he was very helpful and told her the truth that yes it is recommended that the work get done at sometime and can be done a little at a time. He ended up giving her a coupon for a free oil change. So she gave the coupon to me and the same sales person Aaron helped me and told me that I needed brakes and tires and etc. Well I just had my breaks and rotors done so that was a LIE. He is so rude. Again asked for the manager and again he was not there on a Saturday. I went back later that week as requested by the nice Asst Manager to speak to the manager. Well I went back 3 times that week and he was never there. Think that he work when he wants. If you go there only deal with the Asst Manager. He is about the only honest person there. read more

The two techs, Tom and Ryan, did a great job. The steering on my CRV feels tighter than it has in years. Thought I'd have to bring it back for the work but they got it taken care of with no wasted time. Tara did a great job with all my paperwork and was nice as could be. Unfortunately, our latest experience was really really terrible. We bought 4 tires from the store about 3 months ago, and they seemed to be working fine. However, last week one tire went completely flat. We put a spare on and took it to Big O on Tuesday morning to get it fixed per the warranty. They said they fixed the problem, and gave it back to us, but the tire kept going flat. We took the car to the shop FIVE times over the course of 2 days to get the tire fixed, where they kept giving us back a tire that kept losing air. My wife and I had to miss work and get a spare car from a family to use just to be able to do what we needed to do. So no, I wouldn't recommend this location at this time. read more

I recently purchased new wheels and tires at this location. Needless to say my truck looked great but rode like crap. I went back three times and suposivly the tires were rebalanced two times and the third time I was told they were fine and I could call another Big O. Never once was I asked to take advantage of the 30 day ride guarantee. I went to anther Big O tire and the owner there was willing to help me. He put hub centric rings on my truck that should have been installed before, they found that all the tires were out of balance some by 3oz. or more. They found that one tire was bad. They put four new tires on my truck and never charged me a penny. Truck is good now. I will never go to Big O on 104th again very rude and no customer service.Thank you for the store that helped me and I will continue to use that store. Glad I could donate $1700 to the screw the public fund at the Big O Tire on 104th read more

I have taken my Truck to Big O for many years, but not this location. When I was driving I started hearing sound in noise in the front end of the truck and took it to the Big O Tires in Thornton. They got me in right away and said it would be about 2 hours. Received a call to let me know what was wrong with the truck. I told them I would pick up the truck and see what I could find for parts. Sooooo I get the parts to fix my truck and when we took the tire off I found out that they have stripped one of the lug nuts and re-threaded one of the bolts on my wheel hub when they Diagnosed that was the problem. I do a lot of my own work to my car. When I took the lug nut back to the shop and told them about it, they stated that there was no way that they could have done that. I told them that the last time before I took my truck to them was off was when I changed the Brakes and Rotors. There is no way I could have done that and it was done with a impact. I then told him he needed to replaced the lugs and he said he would have to see if he had them because they were aftermarket and walked away. Came up about 15 minutes later and said that he would have to order them and they would be on the way. He replaced the one that was destroyed and gave me two more for extra. I was all in all great full but will never take my truck to this location again. read more
