    I went to the location in Whitestown rather than my local location…read more A rider had broken a door handle inside my SUV while I was driving for Uber. They took much longer to get the repair completed, but were very friendly about it and gave me a ride home while I waited. It wasn't until my bill arrived that there was any issues. This location charged me almost $100 for the part that I was able to purchase on Amazon for $8.99. The most expensive replacement part I could find was at my local Lincoln dealer and it was only $60-65. I asked Damon the GM of this store if he felt good about taking advantage of a disabled veteran and he became very uncomfortable and called me back to find out what he could do to make me feel better. I told him about my research and why I was so upset and apparently he decided much later to refund me $40 of the part price. I shouldn't have to throw a fit to get proper stewardship of my time and money. The attitude and the attempt to take advantage of me warrants the 2 review.

We were growing dissatisfied with our prior auto service company because things kept popping up after we just took our cars there for service and it was expensive. Very happy so far with Christian Brothers Automotive and will return. Thank you! I think they'll need to look into a bigger parking lot soon.

    I recently had a disappointing experience that, to their credit, the general manager addressed…read morepromptly and professionally. The issue involved a repeatedly sounding seatbelt alarm that would not disable or "freeze," which made me frustrated and concerned about the vehicle's safety features. What happened and how it was handled: The general manager reached out and took my concerns seriously, moving the process forward and arranging a re-examination of the vehicle. Technicians could not pinpoint a exact root cause during the recheck. Their prevailing theory was that something might have been spilled in the backseat--potentially by one of my children--causing the malfunction. They confirmed they could not permanently turn off the seatbelt alarm, so we opted to use the seatbelt extender as a solution. What I appreciated I'm grateful that Tom Wood Toyota reached out for a second chance and worked with me to address the issue. Their willingness to re-test and re-evaluate shows a commitment to customer service and safety. What I would have valued more: Earlier transparency about the possibility that a spill could affect the seatbelt system. If this had been mentioned during the initial service call, it could have saved us time, grief, and their money. Clearer guidance upfront on potential causes and realistic timelines for resolution, so expectations are aligned from the start. Overall: I'm glad we found a workable path forward with the seatbelt extender, and I appreciate the GM's engagement. A bit more proactive communication at the outset would have prevented most of the back-and-forth, but I feel confident that Tom Wood Toyota is capable of handling customer concerns with care when given the opportunity.
