Bulgogi platter
Elisa B.

My friend and I had seen this all over social media and decided to go check it out on our day off to celebrate galentines day. Upon entering we were surprised by such a cute and cozy spot! Drinks you would grab from the cooler and order at the counter. They have the menu on display along with a self service kiosk. I ordered a platter plate and a drink and once we ordered we took a seat! This restaurant was so so clean and cute! Food didn't take long for it to arrive and the server was so sweet! Everything was fresh and looked so beautifully plated! I ordered a teriyaki chicken platter with potato salad, white rice, and veggie dumplings. Overall, everything was absolutely delicious and there was a lot of food that we ended up needing to take it home! I will be back for sure!

Super cozy restaurant. The lady was so welcoming when we arrived. I got the tray which consisted of protein, rice and a salad. You can add size dishes. I got galbi and banchan as my side dishes. Their of the day was bean spouts and beef. Everything on that tray was absolutely delicious. The galbi was flavorful and tender. The banchan was delicious. There were five different side dishes for the banchan, and I was glad I chose that. The soup was delicious as well. It tasted like a home cook meal. I would definitely be returning!

Walked in and I knew that I was going to be having very delicious homemade Korean food! Wonderful staff that is very kind and wanting to help you understand their menu. They also checked in to ensure that everything I had was up to par! The food was just absolutely spectacular and I just cannot wait to have it again! I lovedddd their salad and the cucumber kimchi!!!! The inside of the restaurant and itself is very clean including the bathroom and also the complementary tea with water is just great! Very helpful staff.

Spicy Tofu Platter + $2.50 potato salad

This place has been on my radar for a very long time and I finally got to try it with some friends today, one of the best if not the best Korean spot I've tried yet! Prices are fair $10+, complementary barley tea, and a backhome Korean type cafeteria setup - it's really cute and cozy The food is of great quality in my opinion and tastes fresh. I can't explain what it is about the food but it definitely tastes like it was prepared with lots of love and care! One of the female workers was so kind enough to give me a complimentary side of ttebokki because she noticed my flowers as a belated bday gift from one of my friends! Customer service is 11/10, they are very welcoming, helpful and polite. I would like to see fried tofu type skin in the future if they ever consider it because I really like that Korean style tofu they use a maybe medium firm tofu which is delicious as well This is going to be an absolute repeat again and again for me - def check this place out it definitely lives up to its hype

This is one of the highest rated Korean restaurant in Duluth...possibly higher than Jang Su Jang. Very surprising because this place is very casual...not a total dive, but more of a quaint eatery? Anyway, the thing is... their menu is quite unique, in that you have SO many options when choosing your plate...Choice of meats, rice and side dishes. You really can't go wrong in that you get to choose what you like! Then the super-friendly pricing...about as cheap as McDonald's? I got greedy, so chose Bulgogi with White Rice, and 4 sides (Japchae, FIsh Cake, Tteokbokki and Kimchi)! They even threw in the extra salad & veggies. Especially loved the fried veggie leaves (whatever it was called?). YUM!! I also wanted to try their other sides, like the Fried Dumplings and Corn Cheese...but thought 4 was enough. Maybe next time! Granted, the foods are delivered in cheap tin trays...but the foods themselves were quite good! I will say, however, that the Bulgogi Beef didn't look or taste too fresh. The side dishes were their winning card, I thought. Despite some ups and downs, this is truly a gem in that it's SO value-packed.

If I lived closer to this restaurant I would visit and order from them often (like weekly)! Everything (the meat, rice, & sides) were delicious. I honestly can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu. Ordering on the kiosk was very easy & efficient. The owners were so nice and both checked to see how our meal was. I really enjoyed the opportunity to try a different Milkis flavor (grape) than I had before and it was my first time trying banana milk, which I loved. It's a cozy restaurant with great food that's run my great people. I look forward to visiting again soon!

I'm conflicted. It was my first time having had to pay for kimchi (well, any banchan actually) as a side dish, and even then, the kimchi wasn't to my preference (it's more sour than expected, not spicy, and not the level of fresh I like), which is fine, but made it all the more difficult to come to a rating. And I've eaten here a handful of times already! In the end, the food here is fresh, delicious, and generously portioned. If I ignore the kimchi, I'm pretty happy with everything else. There's only one person entering orders, but there usually isn't much of a line. Once an order is placed, you can choose to sit wherever and get your own utensils. They have water and hot barley tea (so happy about this), though they aren't placed nearby each other. They'll bring the food to you, and you'll put the tray away in the designated area near the utensils. All in all, a great place for lunch, though on the pricier side. I like the bulgogi and spicy pork over the squid and teriyaki chicken, and I'm curious about the other protein options. I'll be back for sure.

The food was a little pricey (but you get complimentary barley tea!), but I was pleasantly surprised at how delectable the food was. I'm usually indifferent about most Korean food, but this place was pretty tasty. Tuna kimbap ($8.99): The kimbap isn't anything spectacular. It was tasty, flavorful, and what you'd expect with tuna. It's possibly a little more sizable if anything? There were x8 pieces but each bite was a mouth-full. Spicy pork cupbap ($14.99): This thing was really delightful. I'm usually so so with bim bap, but I was surprised with this pick. Maybe because it's a cupbap?! But really. There was something special. The husband said it's the sauce, which was yum yum sauce. Each ingredient was well proportioned so you're getting too much rice or lettuce. I think the reviews for this place stands up to the experience. I might have heard about this place through a foodie group. I'm pegging this review at 4 stars due to pricing. I think it's weird that you have to pay for the ban chan each at $1.99 when you're getting a meal box (bento like box). I dunno. That's what the group mentioned...

La Galbi Platter

Wow what a burst of flavors! This restaurant is simple but packs a punch. You go to the counter order your food and soon the food is out in front of you. We got the spicy pork and La Galbi plates with rice cakes and cucumber salad . I would highly recommend the spicy pork just for its flavor! Oh My!! The cucumber salad was refreshing but also spicy at the same time. The rice cakes were crispy and flavorful! The restaurant is a wide open and quiet space. Very clean, very organized. All over the experience was awesome!

Bulgogi, white rice, salad, Ny Corn Cheese

Had been dreaming about their amazing New York cheese corn, so I stopped by today for lunch. Can't pass up their bulgogi because it is absolutely delicious! The service was top-notch, as before, and I enjoyed the K-pop music and chill vibes. They brought me a free sample of spicy rice cakes, too! Such a pleasant surprise! While I don't typically like spicy food, these were delicious and not your typical "spicy". More of a smoky spice to the chewy rice texture. Glad I got to try something new! Will definitely be back!

If you want a quick meal that's a bang for your buck. Please come here. This place has decent price for the meal and their big portions. You order at the counter and they'll bring the food out to you. Amazing service and the workers are nice and explain what's in each meal. The food is delicious and satirist my Korean dish cravings.

Teriyaki Tofu, Japchae, Vegetable Dumplings, fried rice.

This was the most delicious Korean food I've ever eaten. Everything tasted more fresh than anything I've ever had the pleasure of eating. The side options are very authentic and delicious. I ordered the tofu and my husband ordered the chicken. Both were soft, tender, and flavorful. Inside is very clean and there are plenty of seating options. After you order, they bring your food out to you and it is piping hot and mouthwatering. Seriously, give this place a try!

Kimchi stew

Fresh and savory. the kim bob is tasty and made fresh to order. nicely done. vegetables and beef were tasty. i dipped it the kimchi stew. I think most people that haven't tried korean food would enjoy korean bbq here or the kim bob but all there dishes so far have a quality of care. Give it a try and tell them i sent you. i think you will like it.

My partner and I came in around roughly 9:50-10pm. When we arrived we're were initially informed that we had to order soon because they were closing in 30 minutes and were understandings of that. Shortly after we were seated, (literally 1-2 minutes) about 3 employees came to our table letting us know we needed to order within the next few minutes. It was like 10:05. I tried asking one of the employee what the meat options were and was just interrupted by him being persistent in us ordering and did not really answer our questions, mainly because I noticed some of the meat options were pork and I do not consume pork for personal reasons. My partner and I felt overwhelmed and just ordered something we thought would not include pork. After submitting our order another employee came by with the check already without us asking insisting for us to pay before our food even came out. Mind you the restaurant closed within 20 minutes at this point. When our food did come out, it did contain PORK!!! We just left shortly afterwards and left the food on the table.

I was absolutely obsessed with the smell of this restaurant before I even went in! I appreciated them, giving us two grills, and the staff actually cook the meat for you. I wish I was sitting more towards the left grill because whoever cooked the pork belly on that side made sure the flame was hot enough and it cooked the pork thoroughly while also making it crispy on the outside. In front of me, the griller did not make the heat high enough so it took a while for the pork to be fully cooked. She told us it was done and it was still kind of chewy so I kept swapping back-and-forth from the left grill onto this one. That's the only reason why I gave it a four instead of a five out of five was because I did not like the way they cooked part of our pork. It was so chewy the fat was not cooked at all, but it was an easy fix. I just had to cook it longer on the other grill but again we shared two grills between eight people so 1/2 of our group got to eat more than us. I like how the pork doesn't have a really strong, pork smell, and it tasted very good like it was seasoned properly. I absolutely love the kimchi! I love how this restaurant stays open pretty late so we can enjoy eating and drinking. It's such a nice casual place to hang out. For dessert, we had kimchi fried rice haha. It was such a great night!

This time, I brought my friend who has never had Korean bbq before for her to try. We went right when it opened so it was quiet. I told the server it was her first time and he was eager to explain everything to her. I don't think she was prepared at all what was about to grace our table He brought out a cart full of side dishes and start to explain what each one is along with the flavor profile. When he got to the scallion salad, she was just not loving it, but he told her to at least try and see what she thinks (don't knock it til you try it!) Then he said they're still getting the charcoal ready so it'll be a few more minutes and my friend's eyes just (like what?) So we start with trying a bite of all the sides. She enjoyed everything except the sliced onion salad. Surprisingly, she loved everything else, including the scallion salad! She's a texture eater, so I was weary of her trying the tofu, but she really enjoyed that too! So... the charcoal comes out, and she's just Then the server brings the grill with the cheesy corn, spicy bean sprout, and he poured in the eggs. Followed by the meats! Since she didn't really know what she likes, I made a few suggestions and the server suggests letting him bring us the most popular items first and we can work our way through the menu. What a great idea!! Started with brisket and ribeye and wow ... meats were fresh, paired with the sides, and the dipping sauces, it's just chef's kiss!! We then had bulgogi and pork belly and those were just bursting with flavor! The cheesy corn was good but burned too fast on the grill, the spicy bean sprouts are amazing, and the steam egg is my favorite . The only downside is that if you don't eat those sides that are cooking on the grill right away they'll turn dry and burned and it won't be as good. The cheesy corn also caused some splattering to our hands when we were cooking the meats. The server apologized for the oil splattering since he heard the squeal immediately soak up the oil from the cheesy corn so the splattering would stop. Overall, my friend gave it 10/10!!!
