As many other users pointed out, the Service dept. here is terrible. I will never go back here again for any reason, sales or service. My car was brought in the evening of 8/27. Mid day on 8/28 they called to say that they could do the oil change but someone else would be doing the front end work. Near the end of the day on 8/28 I still had not heard from them so called. My rep was not available so left a message to call back. After a reasonable amount of time I called back and could not get anyone to answer the phone. This is nearly 2 hours before closing. Tried Service desk and front desk. Finally my rep answered but didn't know the status. After waiting for someone else to become available, found out that the front end stuff wasn't done and couldn't be done that day since he had gone home. Told me the delay was due to his high volume of work. I was not happy and made it clear. The next morning he called and gave an estimate of $2300. Some could be delayed but the necessary work was $1600. Decided to call my usual mechanic that I have a good relationship with to discuss whether this was a fair price. He quoted me far less for the work Ford told me about. So I picked up my car from Ford and took it there. My trusted mechanic told me that some of the work that Ford quoted me was unnecessary. The so-called motor and transmission mounts were not broken. To fix everything that actually needed to be fixed cost $662. And to top it all off I had to pay a diagnostic fee to Ford when I picked up the car without . So that they could diagnose non-problems, over-charge me for necessary work and rip me off for unnecessary work. read more

Oil Change = Dent in Hood Big Star Ford Service Department returned our brand new car with a dent in the hood after our first oil change. Big Star Ford refused to fix it. Big Star Ford says that the dent was pre-existing and that the dent showed up after washing our car. Our fusion costs over $40K and we bought it from Big Star Ford. I made an appointment to have my oil changed and tires rotated.... so far so good, I had to discover on the paperwork that it flagged (red mark), that I had an engine coolant leak. I asked what step was next to address that and was told to call and make an appointment. then I was informed that there would be a one week wait for "diagnostics." So I asked if they meant that I should wait a week to schedule the appointment. I was told " NO " I could make the appointment now and bring in the Truck but they would keep it a week before checking to see what was needed to repair it !!!!!! I asked, " Why would I leave my truck with you for a week before you even look at it " " Why don't you schedule an appointment for me to bring the truck in when you are ready to evaluate it." The point of making an appointment ( medical, restaurant) is to eliminate the wait. read more

VERY GHETTO. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. My mother in law dropped off her Ford on Monday July 18, 2022 to have a recall issue fixed. They took her car completely apart, but they didnt even have the recall part in stock. Not once were we told when she brought it in for the recall issue, that they didn't have the recall part in stock. Why would you take a car apart for a recall issue and not have the recall part? After one week of us calling and calling and calling about if the car was ready (we kept speaking to a TJ) he told us the car had been taken a part and wouldnt be put back together. Excuse me?!?!?! I don't accept that answer. Today is August 8, 2022 and they still have my mother in laws car and it is still not fixed. TJ, one of their workers in the service dept is a liar and a POS and so is the service department General Manager, Rebecca, Rosemary or whatever the hell her name is. Its quite irrelevant, I just know they are ALL frauds and liars. My mother in law is 75 years old and this has been the biggest load of BS Ive ever seen. NO ONE has made any attempts to offer her a rental, a loaner or anything and we've asked for one several times; every time we call we ask for one! I have called 3x today. My husband has called 3x today. My mother in law has called 3x today and NOT one of us has gotten our calls answered or a return call. When we spoke to the service dept GM, rebecca or Rosemary last week (week 3 of this issue) she finally told the truth whereas TJ had been lying for 2 weeks. The truth of the situation is these mfers at Ford, when they went to put my MILs car back together (without the recall part) one of their super smart techs broke an original part on my MILs car. They broke a part that had nothing to do with the recall and they dont have that part in stock and they dont know when they are going to get it. So that's where we are. With a car that is now broken courtesy of Ford with absolutely no idea of when they will get the part in. They are so sorry, they havent even said "hey we ordered it" or nothing. Just a sorry group of people. Bout as sorry as a Ford vehicle to begin with. She wouldnt even be going through this shit if it was Chevy but thats a whole nuther review. Week 4 of my MIL not having her vehicle because Ford broke a part and they are not offering any sort of loaner, rental or compensation. They broke a part and their attitude is pretty much "oh well". BUYER BEWARE! Purchase a vehicle from any place other than Big Star. This place has absolutely no integrity and it starts at the top with their GM Rick Law. Made the mistake of purchasing from them in November '18. Salesperson wrote an out the door price under $40K, and I wish I would've saved the paper. Agreed on the deal and on to finance. Finance "Mgr.", Tommy Lee took me through the process of signing on an electronic pad. I stupidly signed blank documents (lesson learned there) and at one point jokingly asked if I needed to be concerned about blank lines. All done and ushered out of the dealership, I thought I'd been taken care of. Fast forward to my first bill (which should've been deferred for 90 days) and I go find all my paperwork because the numbers don't jive! Can you imagine my surprise when I discovered that the agreed upon price of the vehicle was higher than what I was told, to the tune of roughly $5K! I called my salesperson and was told finance would call me. After a couple of attempts on my side, finance finally did call, only to scoff at my concerns and said, "it's always the customers who get a great deal who complain. Customers who don't get such a good deal love us to pieces". After much back and forth with their GM, and constant requests, in writing, to review the recorded signing session with my Finance Mgr., which I was denied, I was basically told by Rick Law that "he was finished with me, and if I wanted to meet with someone I could come up there and meet with a different finance Mgr.". This place lacks the integrity to deserve your business. I have chalked up my experience to a very hard learned lesson, so please learn from my mistake and SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! There were several back and forth trips to the manager's office, but ultimately, after I started to leave the dealership, I received a call from Kevin stating that his managers agreed to the said price, IF I return to purchase the car right now. Since this was the price I wanted and Kevin had the managers' approval, I returned to the office to begin signing paperwork. I was fully committed to purchasing the car. They asked me to return to Kevin's desk and had me wait for 10-15 minutes. I grabbed the keys and stepped outside to look over the car once again. Much to my surprise, Kevin met me at the door outside and told me, (Get this!) they couldn't do the deal they just agreed to. After taking off work and spending four hours of my afternoon there, I can't say much more than I am highly disappointed with the level of service, Big Star Ford has provided. I have been dealing with this dealership's service department since November of last year (2016). I have a 2014 Ford Focus. My transmission overheated and this dealership was the closest to my location. They advised me that I needed my clutch replaced, paid the ~$1400 for the repair. I was advised there was a warranty for the work for 6 months/10K miles (though the figure tends to change depending on who I ask) . About 3 months later, I noticed the shifting was a bit spotty and acceleration was off so I took it back to get looked at. I took it in around 7 AM and was told they may not be able to get to it that day. I get to work and receive a call around 9 with the service advisor asking if I have a warranty on the vehicle and that my clutch needed to be replaced. He didn't realize I had a warranty with them. After he realized this, he said he'd have the work done then called back several hours later about some other things that needed to be fixed (battery and valve) which definitely gave off the impression that they didn't do any sort of inspection/diagnostics before calling me and telling me I needed a clutch replacement. A few months later I noticed some of the same symptoms in the vehicle so I took it in again. By this point I was nearing the end of the warranty mileage so I wanted to make sure this got resolved before it went out of it. When I took it in they advised there wasn't any thing wrong with it and sent me on my way (I will note they didn't charge me for the inspection). A few weeks later, I noticed shifting kept being spotty and was jerking at times. I took it in one last time. They told me that while they did notice they symptoms I described, it was "not within the parameters" to use the warranty. This seems to me like the equivalent of saying "its a little broken; just not broke enough for us to want to fix it". They did service for the car's computer (I believe it was the shifting control module) due to a Ford recall. The service advisor told me to call Ford with my concerns. Ford basically said that if the shop determines its not within parameters then they won't do anything about it either. Now, a month later, I'm having worse shifting and can barely get the vehicle to go uphill at all, with noises coming from the bottom of the car when it shifts. While their service advisors are very friendly, the quality of work and their willingness to honor the warranty (they only did so by not realizing I had a warranty with them in the first place and the issue wasn't resolved after it was "fixed" twice). I'm guessing they assumed I would take it back there and they could charge me more later but I can assure you I won't be taking my business here anymore. I do not feel safe driving around and am scrambling to find a reputable place to service my vehicle before my issue worsens. And regardless of whatever damage-control response my review gets, please know that unless I edit or remove this review, I was not satisfied! Renee is cool though. P.S. Went in on a Saturday and worked a deal on 2016 Platinum F150 and left a deposit.They said it would be there Monday. Well Tuesday I call and still no truck. So I tel them to send me the invoice so I can get payment ready and when I get it the price has suddenly increased a couple thousand dollars. After back and forth all day long I finally agree to a higher price then we had discussed on Sat. And after questioning there fees because they were not adding up either the manager backed out on the deal and refunded my deposit. Terrible experience in service. I had an appointment for an oil change and was told it would take an hour and a half. My car wasn't finished for 3 hours! I have never been able to get out of this dealership in under an hour and a half for an oil change. Wow just wow. Another yelper 13 hours before I went in had the same experience along with many more people. How can you add 2k to a used car for stuff like car tint and wheel locks??? The car came into your lot like that. You didn't add it. Tried to buy a car cash and not only did they not come down not even a dollar on the advertised price, after their added fees it was an additional 3k. No one in their right mind would purchase a car from these guys. Spoke to someone over the phone and I let them know I didn't want to waste my time. I went in there and ended up working with Karl Alfred. Super nice guy. He seems like a honest guy working in a shady dealership. Going into the dealership was a total waste of time. 6 months ago bought a 2017 ford flex for a decent price, I thought. It had one owner the Dealership "Big Star Ford". 1st sign there was trouble was them adding over 2k to price from the internet price saying it was advantage plus purchase. Which covered them cleaning, servicing, adding lock nuts on rims and tint. I bought a used ford flex, they do not have Tint its darken windows, next I have to pay a dealership to clean a car they are trying to sell? I did not charge them the cleaning job of my trade in.... It was just misc.. charges they attract you then forced me into this advantage plus extra charge. I only found out later reading fine print it was completely optional. Now 6 months down the road with a ford bumper to bumper warranty. My head liner in car started to leak on driver side and passenger side. I then find out its a 3rd party OEM window, another words not a FORD window. This car had one owner that dealership, they sold me a car with a bad window job done to it and now I have a water marked headliner and a leaking window. I called them, explain the situation that my local dealership could not work on the window and asked them if they could help. After 3 days they called me back says yes we can you help you knowing all the facts of this case. I said cool I working for next two weeks but after graves I can come and you all can look at the car. They said bring it in at 7:15 am 8-21-2018, I said I could drive their after graves. I get there 7:10am Johnny Comes out completely unaware of anything going on or what I had an appointment for and promptly tells me no one can help me till 9am. I am seeing mechanics and techs coming in and out of the garage. Brain the one who originally said yes come in we can help you. Was polite but unhelpful and he just explained to me someone who they loaned the car too must have replaced the window. I then waited and waited while they said used car dealer supervisor might help me. Nope absolutely no help there either and he surprised shock they would even send me over there to talk to him. So basically a whole morning wasted 1.5 hour drive home I felt lied too, and cheated. Cheated me on the advantage plus I paid for, they cheated selling me a car they owned. The warranty sales man was extremely short and rude when I refused a useless warranty, BTW extended warranty would not have covered this issue anyways. I am trying to think of one redeeming quality, I really can't, I was polite and considerate, even though I felt wronged. They walked over me, I accepted that and a window job I can easily afford can easily be done and cheaply, was not wroth the effort argue with them. Worst customer service ever. Purchased a used vehicle and it had a couple things wrong with it. It has been like pulling teeth to get responses and help getting it fixed. The only problem I still have is the vehicle never had a front end allightnment and steering wheel is turned the wrong way while driving. I stressed this to the used car department and Nick the used car manager said it was checked on delivery. But they have no proof of it being done other than saying it has been checked on piece of paper. Then I sighned document for 5 year theft patrol which is a stupid dealer ad on, and I still have not received activation info. And the truck is filthy still and that is another thing they said was done I am finding makeup under places and gum stuck to things. They made a quick sale and don't care about the customer. Nothing but terrible experiences From this dealership from all ends. First, I had issues with my remote start not functioning. After about 6 months of basically being made to look like a fool and told I not doing it right, I took it to Ron Carter and found out it was a common issue with programming and was fixed immediantly. Never had a problem with the starter since. This Left a bad taste in my mouth for this dealership But just figured it was the service department and shouldnt condemn the dealership as a whole.......Til tonight. I was called by a salesperson with a proposal. Figured I would give them a chance again. Even spoke briefly with the original salesperson who sold us the car we were trading in. Had a great experience with him which was why I was willing to buy another car from Big Star. The new salesperson sent the proposal to my email.I filled out a credit app as well as I came in and test drove a titanium as well as the SE (which was listed in the emailed proposal). Still trying to figure out how when my trade in was almost $1,900 more then the proposal and even with 0% financing why the number they came up with monthly payment wise was 24 dollars more a month then what was in the proposal? And I was clear that if I dont get 0% financing ( which is only through Ford Credit) I was not interested and was then lied to and told they were waiting for a response from ford credit. All the while, my phone is going off with credit alerts as my credit is being pulled from other banks. I told you what I was willing to do and what wanted and yet ya think if you just keep going and do what ya want I will lay there and take it. Thank you for lying, going against my wishes and doing whatever you chose to do. And thanks for also giving an innaccurate proposal. I have nothing good to say about this dealership. I did purchase a vehicle from them and I now wish I would of went anywhere else but there. Put it this way, when I drive by this place, my stomach turns. I'm absolutely sick of their bs. If its not one thing, it's another. - They would not give me gas! The new vehicle was below empty. Luckily there was a gas station next door. My foreign trade had a full tank of supreme gas and I left with none. I should of returned my vehicle then to save myself from all the hassle that followed. -They "washed" it but yet there was yellow sapp dots all over it that still will not come off unless you scrape them one by one. - I paid off my loan a month later so I filled out a cancelation form for my gap insurance and they first said it will take 6-8 weeks. Then after no word, I called to check the status and they said it will take 10-16 weeks. Pure BS! Just to think, there is more!!! I'm choosing to stop here though. read more

I wish I had checked Yelp before wasting HOURS at this horrible dealership! I agree with the Yelper who said they would give this place NEGATIVE stars if they could...so would I! First of all, when I got there I was specifically looking for a used car that was posted on their website. According to their website, they had THREE of them. When I actually got there...NOTHING, NOT ONE. The salesperson, Ashely, was very nice and convinced me to look at other vehicles. I test drove a few vehicles and narrowed in down to 2. When I got to the office, I told Ashley that I had already secured my own financing and was not interested in changing. She asked the typical "what if I can get you a better deal?" Again - I declined. I simply was not interested in changing my financing. We were supposed to be negotiating a price on a vehicle and I assumed that's why she went to talk to her manager. Anyway, she comes back WITH the manager who introduces himself (forgot his name) and then begins to ask me questions about how much money I make and how I would rate my credit 1-10. WTF?! Why does it matter? I have my own financing, I do not want/need you to run my credit. I have my letter of approval, I've already said I am not interested in changing. At this point, I get up and walk away and proceed to call my credit union (whom I'm financing with). After talking to my rep, he just gave me the basic rundown of WHY the dealership wants me to finance with them, etc...calmed me down and told me to go back and just be firm. Anyway, the managers (because now two were involved) asked to see my award letter from my credit union and I made a BIG MISTAKE by showing them. From that point on, they tried to "negotiate" by making every price right at the top of my approved loan amount. One of the mangers told me my expectation for my monthly car note was "unrealistic" and that"everyone wants their car note to be $___/month". I had already done the math, I knew with my down payment, the amount I expected to pay for a vehicle that I could in fact have THAT car note. I could go on and on about my experience here, but what I really want folks to get out of my review is: JUST RUN! Avoid this place at all costs! They are pushy and apparently used to a clientele that does not have common sense or more specifically a clientele that perhaps does not have the necessary credit and therefore they take advantage by getting them into their "dream" car at an astronomical price! After dealing with all of this crap, I drove back into town (Houston) and went to another FORD dealership where I had AMAZING customer service from beginning to end. They actually had the cars that were posted on their website. The salesperson I worked with told me it's because their website is updated through their finance department. So once a car is sold, it is automatically taken down from the website. Anyway, I test drove ONE car. The same make and model I'd seen on the website for both dealers. The best part was when I told my salesperson I had secured my own financing and was not interested in changing. He did not push! He told me that was absolutely fine, that it was my money and he was not going to tell me how to spend it (well amen to that!). We negotiated a price and in the END he asked to see my financing letter. The manger came in and introduced himself, showed me a record of how much he paid for the vehicle and how long he'd had it there. It was like night & day. My experience with Ashley was great! What happened was not her fault. My decision to walk out of that dump was COMPLETELY because of the pushy, BS tactics of the so-called managers. What a waste of time! Thinking about it makes me mad. Oh and to the manager who told me that $_____/month was impossible...you're an idiot. Make them give final price in writing before you head to the back!!! GAP insurance again do your homework your insurance company sells in for pennies compared to theirs!!! Extended warranty for real...wait till you get close to end of your manufacturers warranty and shop it...if you buy from dealership and trade car in...it's not fully refundable as promised it's prorated from day 1! Went to buy a truck...I had the listing printed, then later that night, they upped the price $1200. I asked for the truck, they said it was in the shop for maintenance so it could to hit the lot. (if the truck was not ready why was it listed?) I was told I could not drive it but I could go look at it, went to look at it asked for the keys to see if it was smoked in, and just to see the inside...he asked me how much was the truck, I told him the price. He then went back to the sales building to get the keys, Then came back and told me that the truck was sold, last night, sight unseen exc,exc... I asked him why did they not remove it from the website? then he said well it happened last night... When I left the store, I called them asking about the truck, she told me it was available and then asked me if I would like to take a test drive! I told her I wanted to drive it 10 minutes ago, and that I had went their to buy it, I told her to I wanted to talk to a manager, she got my phone number and she did call me back she then stated that the truck sold but she could get me in a different truck (she is more a sales man then the guy that i started with), I told her thank you for calling, but I really don't want what they had. I keep checking the website and as 5/2/2015 2:30 pm the truck is still available I waited for 30 minutes to look at this truck...not to mention my trip. read more

They performed a recall incorrectly on my Fusion, but I didn't notice it till after two years later. Now they won't do anything to fix it and Ford won't do anything either. So if you have work done here I highly recommend taking it to an actual mechanic to verify that they did the work correctly. Otherwise they'll literally tell you, "you're shit out of luck." I don't know about trucks but when cars arrive @ Big Star they automatically tint the windows, apply a "special coating" to supposedly protect the paint and apply detailing that looks real cheesy. Got the oil change/tire rotation package for $40 here. First time I went, they used a synthetic blend of oil. They put a tad too much oil in the engine and of course, charged extra for it taking my total somewhere north of $50. After I brought up the manual stating the max was less than what they listed on their invoice, they reluctantly took off the charge and said it was a "typo" that their finger just happened to hit the wrong key. Took forever haggling with them to change it. This was back in March/April. Fast forward to this past weekend, I went back on a weekday to get the same service. I was in and out in about 45 minutes but apparently the personnel felt it was too long of a wait so they voluntarily knocked down the charges to $29 for the inconvenience. I was pleasantly surprised. Recalls My car door won't' shut ...this was a recall on the Ford fusion... Ford wanted to keep my car for a few days but couldn't give me a loaner to get around until my car was finish. So to make a long story short they sent me away without fixing my car door. As im driving my car swings open and close. I have small children and I told them this could be dangerous someone could get hurt... But the only thing they could do was say they will call me in a few days when they get the part Crazy situation I pay a carnote on this car and they couldn't do better then that I don't recommend anyone to purchase from this Ford... "Aftermarket Additions" like tinted windows, wheel locks and nitrogen do not cost $2000. Horrible experience. If you can go to another dealership I would. At every step of the purchasing process this dealership has dropped the ball. I purchased a 2021 F-150 loaner vehicle with 1800 miles. When negotiating the price of the vehicle there was a 1,500 dollar dealer adjustment for a couple of scratches on the interior and exterior of the vehicle. At the very end I mention that I was military and they said there was a 500 dollar promotion. They gladly included that, however they managed to adjust the 1,500 dollar dealer adjustment to 1,000 dollar, nullifying the military discount. It wasn't until I mentioned it that they said, "oh that is a mistake" they corrected it. Next I purchased a spray in bed liner, I left the vehicle Friday night and was told it would be ready on Saturday, this included the spray in liner a wash and detail. Monday rolls around and I intend on picking up my vehicle that evening. I got a call saying the vehicle may be ready in the afternoon or evening. I said I need a more accurate time because I would be there at 5:30. The sales person said he would call me back in a few minutes to confirm a pick up time. Two hours later I had to call him twice and he did not pick up. I call the manager and he says yes it'll be ready at 5:30. I arrive and the vehicle had dog hair all over the interior. I called the next day and another sales person said bring it back and we can detail it again to make it right. A hour and a half later there is still dog hair everywhere and no significant attempt to clean the vehicle has been made. These were the most significant issues but there were many minor ones throughout the process. I am significantly displeased with the service especially after spending over 50,000. read more

I'm that frustrated. I posted this write up here, FB and Google. Absolutely awful. I visited 3 times in one day trying to make a deal to get my wife the car she's always wanted. Took my wife and 3 year old on the second visit. Spent an hour and did the usual back and forth. After we couldn't come to terms, I decided to leave. Then it got bad. 15 minutes after leaving our salesman (Clay) called and had talked to his manager and got the numbers where I was comfortable. Actually it wasn't right were I wanted. About $600 off but I figured I was happy, she'd be happy. We all win. Dropped my wife and kid off at the house and headed back to the dealership at 9:45 to finish the paperwork and get back home in a new suv. Sat down with the finance dept and all the sudden the price jumped $1900 dollars because of the window tint they say (fees it was labeled) Now we are back up a few grand for a $75 two window tint job and what they claim is an alarm they added (I'm pretty confident its factory from ford, there was no aftermarket fob or anything but I could be wrong on that part) What's the worse? I have a voicemail from my salesman that says the specific price for the vehicle and what they'd pay on my trade. Looks like they won't be honoring what I was told, and drove half way across Houston 3 times for. To add......I've tried calling the lady mentioned below multiple times. This has been the absolute worst dealership that I have ever dealt with in a long time. I bought a vehicle brand new, Jan 4 from this place. After being reluctant to purchase with them, after being almost harassed like a basset hound to buy this truck, being low balled on my trade, and almost forced to pull my credit even though I wasn't financing through Ford, passed around from one salesperson to another as a consumer and after going around and around for hours with a new salesperson and the "finance manager" I bought a brand new 2016 F350 from these sleazeballs. On Jan 25, 2017 just 3 weeks later, the truck I bought was in the shop to have a motor replacement. After contacting the Brand Manager and being promised to make the situation right by getting me back into a brand new vehicle, they contacted my bank and once they got my pay off which was far less than the blue book, then all of a sudden the communication stopped completely and the only thing they could do was take my brand new truck as a trade in on another one. Why would I want to simply trade my truck in on another garbage ass Ford if you all promised to get me into another new one. NOT TRADE MY TRUCK IN?! I hate dealerships and their scare tactics. I'm 100% certain that they only handled me like this because I am a female and they really thought that I didn't know any better. At this point, I am in talks with 2 attorneys. As when I test drove the vehicle, the powertrain failure light was on (which I didn't realize at the time what a wrench on the dash meant) and someone cleared it before I took delivery of the truck. When I asked my sales person about it during a test drive, the only thing he told me was, "well it's probably on because the truck has been on the lot for so long" Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Typical bait and switch operation. I got hooked with online teaser price for a used car and once on the lot they added a $2K "added value package" that I could not refuse! I was served by a surly and discourteous salesman who did not seem too interested in his day job. Overall customer experience - stay away and never set foot again. read more

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT! Had major repairs done on F250, including repair of driver's side airbag. When picking up the truck we noticed the ignition switch was loose and there was a problem with the steering column. Brought it to their attention immediately; now they are trying to say they didn't break it and they won't fix it. THEY ARE NOT HONEST OR TRUSTWORTHY. read more

The check engine light came on so we called to make an appointment. They want us to leave our truck there for 3 days so the truck will be there when the machine is available. Are you serious, this is the reason for scheduling. We are taking it to another dealer that will have it done in a day. read more

We called ahead of time and spoke with salesman Karl, we stated we wanted to test drive the BMW I3 and would arrive at the dealership around 5:00 p.m. Karl said, "no problem, come on by it will be waiting for you." We arrived at 5:00 p.m. and the BMW was waiting for us to test drive. We test drove the vehicle and it was perfect. When we went back we told Karl we are ready to purchase. We were already pre-qualified with our bank so the purchase was easy and seamless. We arrived at 5:00 P.M. and left at approximately 8:00 P.M. with a detailed BMW i3 with GAP INSURANCE (GET IT!). The buying experience with Karl was excellent. NOTE: Since we purchased the vehicle we noticed the three of the four tires were worn and balding when the information on the website and BIG Star window sticker says "NEW TIRES." BMW dealership even made a comment on the bald tires when we took it there to get more information about the vehicle. I contacted Karl, to explain the situation and explained we expected "new tires" not "bald" tires and he contacted his sales manager. The sales manager could not find the information on the website that said "NEW TIRES" so it was stated they were not going to replace them. However, I told Karl, we have the sticker that says "NEW TIRES." We will be heading to the dealership on Monday, January 29, 2018, to show them the sticker. We only had the car for 4 days, and I called them on day 3. I anticipate and hope they will do the right thing by providing us with all four new tires as it was stated on the website and with the paperwork we have on our hands and will show them. An updated yelp for the customer service after purchasing the car will be provided depending on what they decide to do. This place doesn't deserve one star, if there was a negative star it would be selected . Have brought vehicle in for service on 2 different occasions both times have left with no results except an exreamly over inflated estimate. The most recent and last a tempt for Big Star Ford was called the week before for a service reservation took truck in Tuesday morning for tire balance and a exhaust leak due to manifold bolt broke off a common issue from what I'm told waited till Friday to be told they where working on an estimate, really 4 days for an estimate on tire balance and replacing bolt and gasket which came up to over $2,000. So you have been warned stay away for this crooked place after reading other reviews I'm the one who made the last mistake. read more

This used to be a great dealership when they first opened, i have purchased two trucks over the years, my daughter purchased her SUV there, but they have really declined, its sad, I would love to shop in the city I live! But about a month ago, my husband and I went to purchase a truck for him, they wouldn't deal one bit? So today we tried again as I wanted a new truck, sold my 4x4, we walked away over $500, the guy say if we wanted more incentives we would have to go on line and see if we qualify . With my husbands new truck we drove to Texas City to Cook"s Ford where the guy was amazing and got us deal after deal off the truck! I just really didn't want to drive that far and really wanted Big Star! But one must go where they are willing to deal, we were asking to pay $37,000 and they wanted $39,000. . They lured us in with a nice post card telling us they will give us 110% of black book value on a trade in, when we get there, they offer is 50% of black book value. Extremely insulting. I have heard they are a terrible dealership but wanted to give them the opportunity to prove me wrong and they failed miserably. I will not be buying a vehicle from them. read more
