I must be living under a rock as I had no idea this great place existed! This is a popular cheesecake restaurant that can make a variety of creations of your desires! Ingredients are quite good and the flavors are incredible. The service is top notch! While waiting on your order, take a moment to enjoy the decor! Lots of sports items, mostly Philadelphia oriented. The restaurant has lots of seating to enjoy your meal or grab and go! It is easy to find and you can order ahead.

Respectfully, the reviews on here with 5 stars must be easily impressed; I would give the food a 3.5/5. The quality is not over the top excellent (taste wise) but it is pretty good. In my opinion, the regular size philly was a little small and could use more steak in it. However, I enjoyed the wings the most, very crispy and flavorful. The sweet chili sauce was pretty good too and had a spicy kick without being overbearing. Also, the pricing wasn't too bad. I would eat here again in the future, this place just wouldn't be my go to for Phillies in DTX area.

Went at 8:20pm and the cashier did not serve me. So it's a no never will be back! Guess I'll find somewhere else for my Philly

Tucked away in an unassuming strip center is Big Tony's Cheesesteak. Other businesses have come and gone around it, but this place is staying for good. Busiest during the weekday lunch period, customers of all stripes flock here for their preferred cheesesteak on the softest, freshest sub bread. They prepare everything on the grill once you place your order, so your sandwich will be piping hot. They put their melted cheese on the bread before they fill the sandwich with meat and mixings requested. My husband and I found this a bit strange and wished for more cheese throughout and on top instead of layered underneath the meat on top of the bed. They have changed their menu a bit and have added to it. The Yelp menu isn't up to date. I ordered the mushroom cheesesteak, but it came with sausage, banana peppers, and peppers too. I got a large 6 foot long. It was a lot of food! I was not a fan of the spicy fries. They were bland tasting and had a layer of seasoning on them that just made a mess of my hands. Sports memorabilia adorns the walls with a nod to Philadelphia and sports teams from there. A game of something is always playing on the TV so the chef can watch the game while cooking and preparing the food. We haven't been here in years, but still love it. It is definitely not the most healthy food, but it sure is delicious!

I love a good cheesesteak and was in the area so gave Big Tony's a try. I ordered the standard cheesesteak and left disappointed. Flavor was okay, but not enough meat for the bun. What bothered me the most was the lack of customer service. Lady taking my order didn't smile and made me feel unwelcome. The place is decorated all out Philadelphia representing all their teams. When a guy delivered my sandwich I asked if he was from PA and he chuckled and said "No, none of us are." I left shaking my head a bit and won't go out of my way to go back.

This is a great place off the beaten path. In a little strip center that blends in so keep an eye out for it. You order at the counter and they brought our dinner out. It's a pretty simple place and they have booths and tables. I ordered the large Philly with mushrooms and onion rings. The Philly was huge and the meat was really good. I wish it had cheez whiz that would really top it off well. The onion rings were not special at all. Obviously frozen store bought. My son had the wings and they were not that great. The sauce was really wet and made the wings mushy. The taste was just ok.

Good asf!! The bread is soft, the options are great for those who want to customize, and definitely worth the money. I will be back. The lady at the register was nice and helpful.

Big Tony's is probably the best you're gonna get for a cheesesteak in Dallas, I do like their sandwiches for sure, fries are good and hot and I think the service is great. But that said is it the best cheesesteak I've ever had in the universe, no and I'm not even just talking about the fact that it's not a Philly in Philly. I think they could do a better job of wiping down tables between customers, but I usually get my food to go most times. I recently tried their cheesesteak on a gluten-free roll and it was actually pretty darn good. They do have a variety on the menu with other things besides cheesesteaks like wings, chicken fingers that kind of stuff and they do have a sad little salad that I did get one time it's really just lettuce and tomato with your meat on top. Definitely check it out if you're in the area I don't know if I'd make a special trip to go there, but it's nice when you have a hankering for a cheesesteak. I do love that they have a refrigerator with all of their sauces in it. They have several different ranches. I think their own signature sauce and some other things so that's pretty nice as well. They are located very close to half price books in the plaza. They were on Preston Road. I think there's a massage place a couple doors down as well. I do like that inside they have a lot of like Philadelphia memorabilia on the wall and autograph signed by former players, and they usually always have a television on in there as well Overall, the food is good, check it out!

In town for business and wanted something I could take back to the hotel. I must admit I've never been to Philly so I'm not sure what the sandwiches are like there, but I've had plenty average ones that left me disappointed. This one was GOOD. I got the double meat and the steak was very flavorful. Not too much onions and bell peppers and the (provolone) cheese was good but I wish they would have offered Cheeze Whiz. I also got the toothpicks and they were tasty. I got a call when I was about to eat and got slowed down. The toothpicks stayed crispy, even as they cooled off. Not sure what the sauce was or what it was for. Didn't really need it. I would absolutely eat here again. Glad I tried it.

Open every day but Sunday! And worth the trip to Dallas. So glad I found this hidden gem. I've had Big Tony's on my Yelp list for a while and it didn't disappoint. First, the decor screams PA! The staff were all sporting PA team jerseys, the walls had signed photos of sports legends and the counter had a city of brotherly love poster. Can't get more PA/Philly than that! Service is counter order but they bring your food to the table. We chose traditional cheesesteak. The steak was a mix of rib eye and sirloin. With American/swiss. But you have a choice of cheeses including whizz and cheddar. Seriously, you can build your Philly steak the way you like it. The steak was tender, the onion and peppers added a nice touch, the bread was soft and warm. The cheese was melted throughout the sandwich. We had the regular fries but will change it up to try the waffle or sweet potato next time. Tony was friendly and willing to chat about PA. I can tell he's authentic, just like his cheesesteaks! A nice find for this PA family in TX. Over all a very nice, unexpected lunch on the Dallas side.

Came here with my wife on a Saturday afternoon and there were some customers but overall not too busy. Both my wife and I ordered the manager's special with for that day was the extra meat cheesesteak. It took a bit of time for our food to come out but it was still pretty reasonable. The Philly-centric decorations gave the place a cool vibe. The extra meat cheesesteak tasted awesome; the meat was cooked great and came together really nicely with the onions and cheese. Super savory, perfectly seasoned, and satisfying! The Amoroso's roll that they used was great too. I recommend adding some of Tony's sauce that they keep in the fridge to add a bit of sweetness and tang to mix it up every few bites. I'll absolutely be back!!

I REALLY wanted to love this place especially since it's close to work for lunch. For 1 the prices are stupid. I could totally get on board if the quality was there, but it's not. I ordered the large original Philly, take a look at the pictures from my review. One of the halves of the sandwich is missing half the meat. Very minimal seasoning pretty bland for a cheesesteak and I feel like that's hard to do. Onion rings were from a frozen bag and tasted like it Ranch that I was up charged for was premade and tasted yuck. I just feel like this is way overpriced for the quality and taste as I've had much better cheesesteaks for a lot less money so I will be ordering from next time. Also, they take your number to text you when your order is ready but double check that they have the phone number right? I sat there for 25 minutes very close proximity to the window and never received a text and the worker never bothered to wave or anything that my food was done when I hadn't picked my order up, she read my number back incorrectly so now my food is half cold and onion rings soggy .

Add more meat to sandwich! All bread no meat. Sandwiches good in the past but recently skimpy on meat.

Typically, I rate based on several visits to get an overall picture of the place, but I will bypass the rule if the experience was exceptional (#1). Mike's was downright excellent. I ate the food warm and I ate it cold, and I'm still thinking about it. I tried to save some time by ordering online and also bypass any potential lines. Thankfully, there were none when I arrived, but a very full house of happy eaters despite being well past primetime lunch hours. The staff was friendly in the front but fielding many orders at the same time. I missed the literal pick up window outside, but was happy to get a gander of what it looks like inside. There's plenty of seating for groups and the place seemed a lot cleaner than the divey narratives folks emphasized. Prices were not astronomical, as I paid $14 and $13 for an order of 4 tenders + 2 sides, as well as 2 wings and 2 sides. The tenders were nothing like a Raising Cane's with skimpy portions and high price tags, instead it was plump, crispy, and perfectly fried. The accompanying sauces (Mike's sauce + buffalo sauce) were excellent additions and complimented the crispy fries. I was extremely impressed with the mac & cheese and very flavorful, mashed potatoes and gravy. The wings were no different: soft exterior with a nice crunch, meaty chunks off the bone, and wasn't too greasy. While the green beans weren't the most memorable side, the creamy corn was strangely addicting. Next time, I'm ordering the sides separately and in a large. I can only hope the other locations are just as good and will make good effort to visit them all. It's a rare occasion to be this infatuated with a place, but I'm confident it will be the first on my return list when I'm back in Dallas again. ___________ (#1) Or exceptionally bad.

Bro, plumbing is confusing). Naturally, I had to ask AI where to get the absolute best fried chicken in Dallas, and it sent me here. Ordering online was super easy, though I wished the menu had pictures because I like to see what I'm getting. Exactly 20 minutes later, I got the text that it was ready. The parking lot is tiny. If you drive a big truck, be prepared to maneuver like a pro if it's packed. Inside was busy, but there was zero heavy grease smell lingering in the air. You could easily grab lunch here and go about your day without smelling like a literal fryer. Plus, the crowd was surprisingly chill. Nobody gave off that chaotic, sketch energy you get at a KFC or Wingstop where you feel like you have to lock your truck doors three times just to walk inside safely. It's a really calm environment, which is awesome if you hate loud crowds. Pickup took less than 5 minutes. After a 15-minute drive home, the chicken was still loud-crunchy and insanely crispy. Puts fast-food chains to absolute shame. Fair warning: my first drumstick was a massive sodium bomb that almost made me rage quit and leave a two star review. But I was so hungry, so a quick drink later, piece number two and on were absolute perfection: juicy, meaty, and flawlessly seasoned. So that first piece of chicken just was coated in not-fully-mixed-well seasoning batter or something like that. I am officially obsessed. Come September when bulking season hits, I'm literally going to live here.
