Fabulous salad with blueberries, pumpkins seed granola and apples.

In Missoula, MT and searching for a local pizza joint, not a chain store. Biga Pizza was suggested by the hotel staff, airport personnel and shop owners. It is an eclectic simple haunt with a diverse clientele. They are in downtown Missoula on a main drag. The restaurant's focal point is a large pizza oven that is cranking out custom pies. They have standard suggestions but encourage you to create your order. The salads are flush with local, in seasonal produce with unique combinations. We ordered a large half pepperoni and half pepperoni with goat cheese along with a great salad. The salad had organic blueberries, apples, pumpkin seed granola, goat cheese, and mixed greens. The dressing was a white wine balsalmic vinegarette. The pizza was good, crust was a bit dry. The flavor was tasty but a bit oily. The salad combination hit the spot, was intriguing with flavors and crunch. The salads here are exceptional and the pizza was ok. Some of the oil may be a result of the pepperoni and goat cheese combination. This is a good pizza shop but not one I must try again.

Amazing -- a must on your visit to Montana. The breads and spreads appetizer includes focaccia and crisps. The sourdough crust is perfect. The Mediterranean chop salad was so delicious (and huge) that had it for breakfast the next morning. Staff also very kind and generous. Go, go, go!

Hands down THE BEST pizza I have ever had. I couldn't finish it, and it was as delicious the following day cold as it was hot and fresh when I got it. I will literally fly back to Missoula, just to have this pizza. Bonus- Service was very friendly and they even wrapped up pizza so I could travel with it (vs the traditional to go box).

So so good!!! You combine pizza with locally sourced ingredients and I am so in. The pizzas are so good and so creative which really impressed me. They do take reservations by phone before 4pm but we just walked in. We waited about 10-15 minutes and got a table. Super chill vibe with very reasonable prices. My favorite thing is they will do half and half pizzas. There are so many to try, I don't think you can go wrong!

Pizza was alright, I'd add pesto or something to the pizza, it was missing a bit of flavor. Nice staff, and the vibe was chill.

Located in downtown area. No dedicated parking at the restautant. Street parking across the restautant. They have limited outdoor seating but spacious inside. Very slow service, we noticed only one server working the day of our visit. Took a while to take order and longer to get the food. Plan for long wait times. We tried the argula/tomato pizza and pepperoni. Pizza itself was decent!

Crust was great, and the specialty pizza options were unique and tasty. Toppings were a bit sparse, but we enjoyed the pizza nonetheless.

AMBIANCE // the Ambiance here is quaint, romantic and noisy. There are two seating sections one is elevated, no matter where you sit it can tend to get a little bit noisy but nothing outrageous. FOOD // I've been here numerous times over the years. The food was always consistently good. However this last time the food arrived at our table barely warm. I believe I know what happened. My one colleague ordered pasta with shrimp and a white wine sauce. That came out scalding hot. My manicotti and my other colleagues ravioli came out barely warm. They weren't staged properly. They were waiting to bring them out with the pasta, and they didn't set them under the heat lamp therefore they got cold. The complimentary bread has always been outstanding and still continues to be. The drinks are average, not strong but not weak. SERVICE // this is where this experience becomes interesting and unique. From the beginning the service was subpar at best. It was almost as if we were being ignored or overlooked intentionally. There were no refills on drinks. There was no inquiry how the entrees were. There was little to no follow-up. Very unique dining experience in and of itself. I have never experienced this and I have lived in major cities throughout the world. When it came time to conclude the experience. Ariana did ask if we wanted dessert. Myself and my colleague ordered a tiramisu. My colleague ordered one to go for her husband. She was charged for it, but it didn't come out until she inquired about it and then a young man, the same one who refilled my drink upon my asking is the same one who delivered her to go item. I requested a manager. I was told very directly that there was not any manager on that night that I would have to speak with her. I inquired who the proprietor or the owner was and she told me the name "Matt" stating that, "You will never hear from him and he won't call you back" she asked what the problem was and upon my explaining to her she became very argumentative cutting me off and interrupting me and speaking over me. She became extremely argumentative and unprofessional. She called me a liar. Telling me and my friends that we came in in a bad mood. Astoundingly we all looked at each other, as this was not possible. We were there for a celebration. Ariana continued to argue with us that she did come to the table and ask how things were, none of us recollect that whatsoever. At the conclusion of the evening, her unprofessionalism, unattentiveness and overall poor decorum has resulted in this review, a letter to someone named "Gabby" and a very unpleasant taste in our mouth for this small business. Which is extremely unfortunate because I really did love this place and I really did want to continue to frequent it.

Instead, I got pasta that tasted like someone whispered the word "Alfredo" over a stick of butter and called it good. It was oily, waxy, and somehow managed to coat my mouth like a scented candle. I also paid extra for shrimp... which apparently went on its own lunch break because it never made it to the plate. They did bring it out after I asked, so at least the shrimp eventually found its way home. As a surprise bonus, we were gifted a clam chowder that nobody ordered. Fortunately, they didn't charge us for it, so shoutout to the mystery soup. The restaurant also wasn't busy, but waiting for the check became a team building exercise. We had enough time to contemplate life, discuss our retirement plans, and consider what we would be eating for dinner the next day. Overall, if you're craving authentic butter noodles with a luxury price tag, this place absolutely delivers. If you're craving Alfredo... your search continues. But hey.. at least the sliders were pretty good

You could tell that the menu changes seasonally due to the layout of the menu. We ordered the Vegetable Green curry soup and the Red Lentil soup. The broths were very flavorful with a bit of spice, but not too much. They had plenty of vegetables and lentils. You have several different sizes to choose from. They also offer food to go. The cilantro and cashews on top of the soup gave it a nice crunch and added flavor. The Thai Peanut salad was loaded with crunchy fresh vegetables and a delicious sauce. The bratwurst came in a sandwich. The sauerkraut was a little sweet and not bitter/sour tasting. The brat had a thin skin that was easy to bite through. The house mustard was like deli mustard with coarse seeds. The bread was soft, but a little too much for my liking. Overall, I would recommend this business for delicious, fresh and fast food especially if you love soup!
