Tried the mocktail for the first time - very nice mojito flavor. The soup of the day was a kale chicken and rice and was excellent with a side salad. On the 4th of July weekend they had a special dessert that was a cream cheese flavored mouse with fresh berry sauce and a gluten free shortbread cookie. Excellent, as usual.

Great little place. Make reservations! Unique wines, choices and more. Great for everyone with you enjoy meats or vegan. Just loved this place. We had a wonderful salad with smoked olives. Bought some to take home they were so good. We split the seared halibut. Mmmm

WOW THOSE BIGA BURGERS! I was staying at an Airbnb just .2 miles away so we headed here after seeing they had burgers on the menu. It's a small place, and on a Saturday at around 4 they only had room at the bar or patio. They asked if we called ahead, so make sure you call in advance to reserve a table. I heard someone calling and they were offered a table in 30 minutes, so I don't think you need to call too far in advance (except if you have a large party.) I had a hibiscus margarita and it was strong and flavorful, the price was great at $8. We ordered both burgers, the BIGA Burger and the Local Burger, both with Mac and cheese on the side. Soooo tasty! The bread tasted amazing, it must be either homemade or made locally. I'd recommend this spot in Prescott!

This is our new favorite spot! It was so good, we actually ate here twice. The wait staff was very friendly and the timing of the service was impeccable. I'm not one to write reviews- but this place was just so good all around we wanted to make sure that everyone else can enjoy it too and that it gets recognized for the gem it is! We started with the mussels and ginger peach martinis. The drinks were great- very refreshing and not too sweet. The mussels were BOMB. The portion size is huge and this appetizer can easily feed a party of 4. We ordered gluten free bread and it was hands down the best gluten free bread I've ever had. I ordered the Ramona farms chickpea salad with chicken and my husband got the local burger with a side of the Mac n cheese. My salad was , once again, one of the best salads I've eaten. The chicken was cooked perfectly and a good portion size. The star of the salad however was the smoked olives. Oh my gosh, these olives have ruined all other olives for me! I kid you not, do yourself a favor- try these olive's because they are life changing. My husband's burger was fantastic- he even ordered it again the second time we went. My husband is a not usually a fan of "fancy" burgers- he usually gets them plain with just cheese and meat. He absolutely LOVED this burger- with everything on it including the arugula and didn't even add ketchup! The second time we went I tried the Herb marinated chicken club with the gluten free bread. It was great! We decided that this is our new must stop at spot in Prescott and our waitress Melinda was absolutely wonderful- she even got me the recipe for the gluten free bread because I liked it so much. BiGA was a wonderful experience all around- the restaurant itself has a very cool vibe -it is on the smaller side but very well spaced tables and nice eclectic decor featuring some local art. If you're in Prescott, you must try this place!

This place is small make reservations for larger parties but call ahead for smaller ones. We walked in but luckily there was bar seating still available. Friendly staff so nice and helpful. The food was so good, we didn't order allot but what we had was so filling. We started off with the burrata which was great with bread and a tomato type broth. Then we both ordered the cheddar cauliflower soup which was a absolutely one of the best soups I have had. For dessert we had the chocolate pots de crème, it's very rich and was extremely satisfying. Also for vegans/vegetarians they do accommodate. Parking is limited.

This is a late review (April 2022) Finally got in to check this place out and it was excellent! Good food and service. It's a small place with a cool vibe. Reservations are probably a good idea based on the size of the place.

We have been here 4-5 times. When we visit Prescott BiGA is a must. If we lived here full time, i would be here once a week. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant is small and has a cozy vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The quality of the food is excellent. In my opinion the best item on the menu is the market veggie sandwich with the hatch chile Mac on the side. Salads are amazing and the veggies are excellent quality. Service is always great. One of my favorite restaurants (ever).

So let me start with the fact that we usually love this place but..... tonight we arrived at 5:30, hubby ordered 2 FULL Smoked olive salads add chicken & an iced tea. We received 2 large bowls w/exactly (could have drawn a line) half of the plate covered with greens & a chicken breast on top, as it was placed the server said "here is your olive salad with chicken split" we made her aware we each wanted a FULL she apologized and went back to get another full w/greens only. We told her "no worries we will start on this" and proceeded to spread it out in the bowl (hence no picture) the server who took our order arrived and said "I ordered 2, that's what you got" okaaaay..... well hubby finished his, I could have finished mine but felt bad for my hungry husband & gave him what I had. We had to ask for a refill of Iced Tea got one and left hungry for the bargain price of $60.00 * A HALF PLATE OF GREENS W/SMALL CHICKEN BREAST $26.00x2 SMALL MASON JAR OF ICED TEA WITH 1 REFILL $4.00 BTW we were gone by 6:10.... 40 whole mins

I have to say... this place right here. Fire...fire..fire! Great service, burger with jalapeño Mac n cheese, chicken sandwich with potato salad, and the scalloped potatoes. Can't go wrong. The hibiscus's margarita and Biga grape vodka was a nice touch to this meal. I highly recommend this place.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]BiGA has a really cool vibe, small dining area and super friendly staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food...my husband ordered a burger with a side of chile Mac n cheese. He loved it! I ordered a BLTA with a side of chili Mac n cheese. The flavor of the BLTA was delicious, but the bacon was tough and the white toast was too. I won't order the BLTA next time, but we will try this place again! I recommend adding other choices of bread that are not as dry as white (i.e. sourdough or whole grain).

Very small place, easy to miss. Totally recommend. We went here on a Saturday for dinner. Place only has a few tables and seats at the bar. Service is very friendly and attentive. Drinks and wine lists are well varied. Food is very delicious. I had the biga burger (the bun is some kind of biscuit bread and is incredible) with a side Cesar. Husband had a Reuben with green chile mac and cheese. Menu is kinda small but all the entrees are delicious. Will come back again. read more

Oh jeez. These are the reviews I really hate to write because.......... this place is SO good. I kinda don't want others to find out what a good, delicious, ARTIST this chef is. YUM. I love delicious, fresh, amazingly simple yet well crafted food. I don't want to overstate it. In case you get an okay dish. I just ordered whatever the server told me too. And every dish was spectacular. The staff was kind, fast, effective. This is a TINY place (especially as they follow COVID19 Rules). So expect a wait - or make a reservation. This is such an adorable little place with very good food. There isn't much seating but it's worth either waiting for a seat or getting take out. I ordered a half ceaser salad and added grilled shrimp to it. It was all fresh and surprisingly filling to be a half size. The shrimp were some of the best I've had in Arizona and the dressing was amazing!! I definitely tasted the anchovy flavor! Best part is the way they plate the salad. It looks like Pacman on a plate haha My husband got the BiGA burger with potato salad and really enjoyed it. The staff are also very sweet and eager to make you feel welcome. This is the best restaurant in the Quad-city area. We go for the weekly specials and try something new every time and it never disappoints. The chef does something magical with the ingredients, the veggies are always otherworldly. I usually order the fish which is perfectly cooked every time. Surprise! Went on yelp looking for a casual place with good food. BiGA knocked it out of the park! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is casual and cozy...perfect![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We started with a margarita (awesome) and my wife had the vegi sandwich and I had a burger. The food was amazing! The service was friendly and professional. This was a big surprise but us returning won't be. Great job BiGA! read more

I would definitely come back to BiGA. In times of the Rona, they're doing a good job of taking social distracting seriously, and even have a small patio with three tables. Service was great. The rhubarb whiskey sour was top notch, and the peach margarita (made with fresh peaches) was good, although I think we're approaching the end of the season for peaches and it could've been peachier for my liking. I also got the corned beef Ruben with cucumber tomato salad as a side. Although it wasn't my favorite cucumber tomato salad in the world, it was very fresh and flavorful with what I imagine to be a shallot-infused oil. The sandwich itself was on a toasty house-made rye bread and was good, but the beef was a bit under seasoned for my taste. PS. I can't say enough good about this restaurant. They only take reservations for parties of 5 or more. This is a problem if there are less than 5. In that case you call 2 hours before you want to come. This is a small, cozy place with only 8 or 10 tables. However, the food is incredible and the chef is the best chef in Prescott! Setvice is impeccable. We have traveled extensively and have NEVER had such wonderful food read more

Always innovative & fresh. My meat & potato husband always finds something to satisfy his taste buds. I'm an adventurous eater & have tried so many wonderful dishes here. The only slight downside is, in my husbands opinion only, the chairs are too small & they only have fancy beer. (He's 6'3" & weighs 245 & drinks only Mich Ultra.) The staff is delightful, cocktails & food innovative & the atmosphere welcoming. It's my favorite Prescott restaurant. read more

Food was pretty good, service was below par, and the atmosphere was quite nice. Overall, I would recommend BiGA if you have a group of people you've known for years. Not a great spot for first dates or business activities due to the noise and business (at least at dinner time on a friday night.) I've heard good things about the lunch menu, but I cannot comment on it from my personal perspective. We ordered the BiGA supper for 2, with the fish and rice. The fish was superbly prepared, and the rice was decent. I'm not a big fan of roasted vegetables but they were alright. The service was quite slow, but I believe it was just our server having a bad night. We were supposed to get bread along with salad, and we had to ask for the bread, instead of it being brought to us. Along with the salmon and rice, a desert course of Pots De Crème was served. whipped cream on top of a glassful of a wonderful dark-chocolatey substance. The flavor was superb enough to sacrifice my lactose intolerant stomach for. The interior of the restaurant is quite small, but they do say the best things in life come in small packages. The eco-brutalist stylistic choices fit well with the upscale contemporary American genre of the cuisine. The bathroom was average for this size of interior (see attached picture) A single door room, locking door handle, and wonderful backsplash on the sink counter. Art throughout the bathroom and dining area elevates the experience, and highlights their local farm to table nature. Overall: 7/10. Quite good food, decent atmosphere, subpar service, average bathroom. read more

We had a large group. We shared several appetizers including the bbq shrimp, mussels, and hummus. I had a pear salad and the seafood chowder. Everything was exceptional in taste and presentation. So damn good! Been here many times even before current owners. They have upped their game since new owners took over about a year ago. Tonight was the chicken dish with a side of garlic bread. I think it's one of the best dishes I have ever had like ever. Fresh local ingredients with creative cooking easily puts this as one of the best restaurants in Prescott! I wish they stayed open an hour later in Fri and Sat nights, but hey, it's Prescott. read more

I'm just a tourist passing through Preskitt- this place came highly recommended by the locals- farm fresh to table. Reservations for 5 or more available- call them. If you're a solo diner-- call also to see how busy they are so that you don't have to wait too long -- timing is everything. Loved the goat cheese appetizer-- savory with a little bit of sweet in the onions. Loved the sweat pea leaves salad I added an egg and patty. My eating mates loved their chicken plate 25$. One ordered the special of the day 40$ short ribs! Food savory and fresh delicious -- excellent combinations. Bread pudding shared among us! Perfect experience! Friendly, fast, split chicken plate came out perfectly too. They seemed to remember the locals too- so it's like cheers -- everyone knows your name. Eat here!! A must stop at Prescott. Spent the day at Watson Lake and found BiGA vía Yelp. So glad we did! Best burgers we've had in a while, hand made patties, perfect trimmings, but the bread, though... ah-mazing!!!! We also had the goat cheese appetizer... which itself was to die for. Definitely a must-visit. We did not leave room for dessert... big mistake on our part. Quarantine Update: They're open for dine-in, and every employee wore a mask. There are five tables inside, and while they had three other parties, there was plenty of space between tables. Creative cuisine, together with daily specials, served in a quaint, relatively small sit down setting (a few tables outside as well next to a busy street, Miller Valley Rd., unfortunately), and the fare is palate pleasure you're sure to treasure. I believe the restaurant makes the bread from scratch. Reservations are recommended, parking can be a challenge - it's a place in demand, and deservedly so. read more

Amazing! I have the 'roasted' chicken entree...everything about it was awesome. ...the sauces, the bread pudding, the veggies. It was the moistest chicken I've ever had. My husband got the Reuben and it was delicious. The staff is efficient and friendly...even though we arrived 15 minutes before closing. I will definitely come back...much more on the menu that intrigued me! Ps... we are en route from Baja to Colorado. First time to Prescott...this was our first stop and we're off to a great start!!! read more

Loved our lunch here! I am vegan and had the vegan meatloaf sandwich. My wife had the veggie sandwich. My wife is an omnivore and the other menu selections looked great to her. This is a great place for a vegan and meat eater to keep the peace with awesome options. Good server and margarita was excellent! read more

A quaint space with a big bite ... this small space isn't overly crowded and there are a few outdoor seats too. All of the dishes were excellently prepared (every time I've been). Locally sourced and delicious... what more ... handcrafted cocktails... friendly servers. Will definitely be back for more!! read more

BIGA is a hidden gem if you find yourself in Prescott for a weekend. Very intimate dining experience as it is a small restaurant, and every menu item was delicious. Definitely recommend reservations here because it can get busy on the weekends as one of the few truly good restaurants up here. I got the chicken and a half serving of the chopped salad (which is huge even as a half serving!) and was not disappointed. read more

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. Absolutely DIVINE homemade gluten free bread, which is so difficult to find. Best grilled cheese I have ever had! Our table ordered burgers, chicken, goat cheese dip, shrimp appetizer, GF garlic bread - all absolutely delicious! Perfectly attentive service. And really appreciated that she brought different to go containers based on what we were bringing home to preserve flavors/freshness. Like others have said, the place is tiny so make reservations! This is my new my go-to place whenever I visit Prescott. read more

This place isn't on the main drag but I love that--it means it's ratings are genuine. And let me tell you: I ate well here. An emphasis on local ingredients, which means seasonal is key and always makes things extra fresh. Their pork duo you guys, like wow. Holy moly. History

Established in 2017.

BiGA first opened it's doors in 2014 by two women from the East Coast. BiGA quickly became THE place for locals to eat and enjoy a good meal away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Prescott. Today, now named BiGA by Senses, is owned and operated by Chef John Panza, formerly of Capital Canyon Club in Prescott, AZ, the Hilton Bay Front Hotel in San Diego and Different Pointe of View in Phoenix. Chef John's dishes are a cut above the rest, using new and innovative cooking techniques and the freshest produce around from farms like Whipstone Farm in Paulden, AZ and Hassayampa Vineyard and Farm in Kirkland, AZ. Our goal is to serve our guests the best food around and what's better than fresh and local?

It is a bit pricey, but it's a fantastic place for a special occasion dinner, or anytime dinner for that matter. We would love to come back again and try a couple more dishes!

They have a small parking lot along with plenty of street parking if that is full. The restaurant has a covered outdoor patio for dining along with a full bar room separate from the inside seating areas. I ordered the bourbon glazed pecan salmon entree for $34. The meal came with a choice of two side dishes. I went with a side salad and the baked potato. Kat, my waitress, asked if I wanted it loaded with sour cream, butter, bacon, cheese and chives. I asked her if there was an extra charge for those toppings and she said no and that it came that way if I desired it. I accepted it except for the chives. First to arrive was the side salad and it was delicious. It was a quality start to the meal. Then the entree appeared and it was a beautiful plate. The salmon was pan seared with a bourbon glaze on top with candied pecans. It also had several raviolis next to the salmon with spinach and some creole mustard sauce. Flavor, flavor, flavor! That glaze and pecans mixed so well with the salmon and raviolis. Mouth watering for sure. The baked potato had two large scoops of butter and sour cream on top with cheese and was oh so good tasting. It was a quality meal for sure. 5 stars! As I was eating the potato I noticed there was no bacon pieces in it. Figuring that someone forgot to add it, I looked for my waitress and she was no where to be found. Her service was very slow. By the time she arrived I had finished the meal. I mentioned to her that the bacon was missing but it was too late since I had finished the meal. Minus 1 star. When she presented the bill at my table I paid the bill with full tip and took the receipt and left. Just outside the door I noticed on the receipt that I had been charged .75 cents each for the bacon and cheese! Minus another star. So I went back in and talked to the lady manager. She said that my waitress wasn't aware of those topping charges and it was her fault. I told her that I understood that those things can happen but had a problem with being charged for the bacon and never receiving it. She said that she would refund me the cost for the bacon and cheese and would adjust my credit card for the $1.50. I saw her do it on their portable credit card machine. She assured me that it would be done. That was last Thursday and this is Tuesday and no credit has shown in my statement. Minus another star. Very good food, very poor staff and management.

From our friendly greeting at the door to the warm, heartfelt, handshake goodbye,this was a great dining experience. Delilah, our waitress, was one of the best we've ever had! She could not have been more helpful, friendly, courteous, efficient, if she tried. She even brought the bottle of wine my friend loved (which she had recommended) over so my friend could take a photo of the label. We were there for lunch during restaurant week for the $25 Prix fixed meal. The quality and presentation of the food were fantastic. I haven't tried everything yet, but the menu is small and incredibly well done, so someday I will have tried it all. They make all of their bread from scratch at the location..It makes the biggest difference. Every sandwich I have ever ordered is delicious. Made to perfection. I don't think Biga is pricey, especially for the quality you are going to receive. I have only dined here during lunch hours, as I work around the corner. We went to BIGA earlier this year to eat and celebrate after our elopement at Watson Lake and I've been dreaming about their food ever since. Their vegetarian options are fantastic and their homemade bread is to die for. I love that they use seasonal and regional products, because sustainability and supporting local businesses are very dear to my heart. We've come back once already after eating there in February and will pop in whenever we're in Prescott again. Don't forget to look at the dessert menu. The ordering system is first rate with virtually every single choice imaginable so you get exactly what you want.
