The RETAIL cost of this pump is $340 and is readily available. I was given a cost of over $1400. Absurd. It's the cost of the pump (wholesale) plus 1.5 hours labor TOPS. Of course while he was there, he tried selling me on all these silver, gold, and platinum maintenance plans. I was still charged $129.00 just to be given a ridiculous price with no work performed. But that's the idea isn't it? The customer doesn't want to just flush away $129.00 for nothing so you're bullied into having them do it no matter how obscene the price is. By the way, just two years ago they were charging $69. Apparently that wasn't enough pressure for people.

He tells me his diagram is telling him my septic is in the backyard. I point to the holes in the front yard. I tell him my husband is going to have my head for him driving his big truck into this driveway. He said the truck was empty, he works at night doing pumping. So what!! The truck is heavy sitting on a softer asphalt than what streets are made of. He left big marks on the driveway. I told him he should ask in the future. He said he was calling the office and making notes that the septic is in the front. Then I look at the paper he filled out and it clearly says under diagram/notes FRONT YARD!!! SMH!!! You've got to watch everyone. I am buying some of those orange work area cones to keep people like this OUT!!!

I have been a loyal Bursaw customer for 40 years, but after my experience this morning, I am questioning that loyalty. I received a cold email stating that my scheduled oil delivery would not be made. The reason given was that your drivers might "pull a muscle" pulling a hose through the snow to reach my tank. Following this, I spoke with a manager whose unconcerned tone during our call was frankly appalling. I am 80 years old. At my age, I am physically unable to shovel a path to the tank myself, and finding immediate help for snow removal is nearly impossible. I have relied on your service for four decades, and I never imagined that Bursaw would be so completely unconcerned with the well-being of their elderly customers during the winter. To be told that a delivery cannot be made to an 80-year-old customer because of the risk of a pulled muscle--while leaving me without a clear plan for heat--is unacceptable. I expected much more from a local company I have supported for most of my adult life.

I woke one morning to find water leaking around the second floor toilet, all over the floor, and…read morethrough the floor into the living room below, damaging the ceiling. I was obviously somewhat concerned, so I found JJ Sullivan on google and gave them a call, explained the situation, and they said they'd probably be able to make it out by late morning and would call back in an hour. Two hours later I called them to check their ETA and they said they'd "make it out today, they just weren't sure when". I figured I'd be patient so I left it go for six more hours, then called again (after an entire day of missed work waiting for them and not calling a backup plumber because they would be out today). Suddenly they can't make it out today, the soonest they can be out is two days from now! Mind you they never called to tell me this, I had to call them. Also mind you that I didn't call them until after five, so all the other plumbers were essentially closed by then and it ended up being another day before I could get someone out, and the damage to the ceiling continued to accumulate. Needless to say I have a new plumber now and these scheisters will never be allowed in my home as long as I live. Don't trust them with anything important unless you have a backup plan, and call every hour on the hour until they arrive to make sure they haven't forgotten about you.
