I tried big foot Java for the first time recently and can't stop going back! The mythical mocha is just AMAZING! I get it a little less sweet and it's perfect. My only complaint would be a little inconsistent with the different baristas. It's supposed to come with whip, and depending on who is making it , I have to ask .. no biggie. I've been a regular at this bigfoot for quite some time. Usually the service is great and the drinks are made well, it just depends who you get! I typically go at night, so I usually get the same baristas. This makes it way easier. However, there are those times where baristas are rude, drinks are never made right, and they are more interested talking to each other than anything else. Its become tradition for me though to go at night, so I hardly get bad service then. I am a very frequent customer of big foot Java, when visiting the one in Edmonds on highway 99, one of the workers was very rude, saying non professional things while I was still able to hear her. She was complaining to the other worker about our order, which is very unprofessional. She should've at least waited till we were gone to complain without us hearing. We asked for half a red bull in one of our drinks and asked if we could put the other half in a different drink. Instead of her being friendly and saying this isn't something they can't do she proceeded to complain to her coworker. I am very disappointed in big foot Java. This is a coffee stand so there's not too much for me to say... but it's really nice that this place is open 24/7 because sometimes I find myself craving a drink in the dark of the night. It is located in the pavilion / plaza (?) area with Ranch 99 Market and the T&T Seafood Restaurant so pretty convenient as well if you're doing some shopping. I've never had any problems with service here, the workers I've encountered have always been friendly and even make jokes with me! Worst coffee experience ever... my daughter likes to come here so we stopped here last week. I ordered a $7.50 16oz WHITE coffee drink only to realize a couple miles later that regular coffee (which I do not drink whatsoever) was used. I called and spoke to Sarah who said she'd leave a note for me to come back the next morning and have it redone. I went the next morning, ordered the same drink and when it came time to pay, (the same barista who made it wrong the day before) I told her about the note Sarah was suppose to leave. Gabby / Abby comes out and tells me that she's "not allowed" to comp my drink because there wasn't a note in the back. Are you kidding? I was shocked with the lack of customer service. The barista even told her she overheard Sarah's conversation with me but she still charged me, I paid, then got another disgusting drink. It was white coffee but tasted very weird so I poured it into a cup and saw a ton of black coffee grinds at the bottom. I wanted to give them a 3rd chance but neither Jennifer Whitmore or the Area Manager were interested in replying back to me so I decided to post a review. If i were a business owner, I'd for sure want to know if people were running my stands this way. I will make sure none of my family or close friends return to BFJ. Checked in too early with Yelp. I waited for thirty minutes and decided to book it. Drove around to see only ONE girl working both windows. Yikes! My friend and I came on a Sunday evening... I love this coffee place! I will come back and try again as I enjoy all their flavors, wonderful service, and great prices. But this was so slow! Sorry to say but if you want fast coffee, maybe try another place, especially if you get stuck in between cars. Not sure why it took so long even if it had one girl. Well, I will try again myself. Extra star for good service but terrible tasting coffee. Got a triple 16 oz soy latte that tasted watery and the espresso had an awful dirty taste. I tried my boyfriends triple americano, tasted like mud. I can tell that machine hasn't been cleaned in god knows how long. I'd say I go here about 5 days a week on my way to work. Lines aren't usually too bad. Sometimes people chat too long while in line. I've waited on one side for 10 minutes while the other side moved...ended up leaving w/o coffee that day. But for the most part the girls are good. They know what I want and have it ready quickly, and when I order for my co workers they remember those drinks as well. Sarah is wonderful! I love the Bigfoot java in the Everett and Tacoma area. I came here a couple times and every time the girls are rude and look like they hate their job. I decided to try it more one time and same experience. They overfill my cup and as they hand it to me it spills everywhere. My husband and I used to be regulars at this location years ago. We still visit, but not as often anymore. Well, we recently visited this past week. We received our 1 drink. She then asked my husband if he was ok with her signing and if he wanted to tip. He politely declined to tip this time and told her it was ok for her to sign due COVID. We understand tipping is a nice gesture, but it's not required. She was kind up until my husband declined to tip. She didn't say goodbye or give us a receipt. She just turned her back and carried on. I checked my account and saw a pending transaction from Bigfoot Java, but when it was finalized, it was more than what was pending. When a person politely declines, the worker should honor and respect that and not feel like she should be mischievous and add a tip to an order anyway. That's not ethical and it's so down right privileged. We are giving you business and in turn trusting you would not overcharge. Fast food chains, grocery employees, Fed Ex/UPS delivery drivers and postal workers do not receive tips. We shouldn't feel the need to tip every time we pull up at a coffee stand and the barista should have some morals. Very disappointed. read more

If you like your coffee sweet, then Bigfoot Java is for you! The coffee made here is consistent. So you know whatvto expect everytime you visit. The girls are very accommodating to special requests and are always pleasant. I can't say the same for the other locations, but this location is the best. The Maui Mocha is amazing! I actually always go to the 2 in Everett and 1 in Bothell. Keeping it short and sweet.....LOVE the coffe, love the hours! Hate the pice and hate the calories! Like other reviewers, I was craving an alternative to Starbucks. Bigfoot Java is a bit more expensive, but the menu sounded absolutely delicious! I got the Nutty Yeti which gave me flashbacks to my childhood love of Cappuccino Blasts from Baskin Robins. The service on a Sunday night was fast. I love this place... they make the best drinks and most of the girls that work there are so kind and considerate. However I only go at night now because this one girl that works there in the day is so mean and rude it ruins the whole experience. Which is sad because some other really great baristas work in the day with her... Anyway a group of kids (one was 13 the other was like 10) were riding there bikes and they had ran out of water and they went up and asked for some and she turned them away saying she couldn't serve them... which okay a little unnecessary to me cause they are children but whatever... so I drove up and I asked her for two waters... she looked at me and she looked at the kids and goes "we charge for water just FYI" and I said that's fine. I had already been through the line for my drink when I watched the kids walk up so I was just going back for the water. I left her a tip when I got my actual drinks. So I have her my card and she asked if I had a number with them and I said yes. I gave her my phone number and then she says "well I don't know why your bothering you don't get points for water" like she wasn't the one who asked...she asked if I wanted to leave a tip for buying 2 dollars in bottled water and I said "oh I left one earlier" and she responded with "well these are new drinks" like are you serious? I'm a cashier I get the importance of tipping but really? I would never expect a tip on an order of two water bottles and she was so snotty about it. And when I drove up to give the kids the water they even offered to pay me so I really don't know why she turned them away. Regardless if policy those children are no threat. read more

How I would love to find a competent business to get my java fix from on a late night of college studying. Bigfoot Java Edmonds is a gigantic disappointment. The first few times I brought my business to this poor facility, the employees were languid and condescending. The coffee? Lukewarm and NOT good. However, the iced beverages are a solid 3/5. Yet, there is a bigger reason why I will not be returning to Edmonds Bigfoot... THE SERVICE IS AN ABOMINATION. A friend and I went here before a late night study session and had the worst customer service experience of both of our lives. We were waiting behind a red truck for 10 min while the "barista" and the idiot driving talked up a storm, obviously friends. She hands him his coffee and guess what happens next? He doesn't pay. We wait another 5 min while they chat until my friend sticks his head out the window and says, "Can we order now?!" The incompetent girl then says, "Sure! He'll pull up in a second! What can I get for you?!" He proceeds to shout our orders (still behind the truck) while she messes them up (THREE shots, NOT two!) The truck finally pulls around to the other side and she continues to talk and not pay attention while making our overpriced drinks. I'm still angry that I tipped her .25, but I refused to stay for any longer. I had already lost valuable study time while she went on about petty nonsense and gave him freebies. I filed a complaint and it took the manager 2 frickin' days to respond. This stand makes me wish -5 stars was an option. read more

Her name is Jamie...if you're having a bad day, go get a cup of coffee for a pick me up and be prepared to laugh your ass off. This girl is hilarious, smart and makes the best coffee. Anytime we come here, the service is amazing. yes sometimes there is a line..meaning 2 cars, but they have 2 sides so make sure to check both sides..hehe!!. i look at it like this...a line means people like coming here. at least you aren't seeing a ghost town. So I have been a customer of big foot Java so about 10 year now and always enjoyed how friendly the baristas were. When it was a slow day they would chat with me and we would discuss the current events and and get to know each other. They always made me feel welcome and like family until a bit earlier in the year when one of the girls there (verity I believe her name is) felt the need to tell me how I was a huge chavenistic pig and I deserved to be miserable for the rest of my life. This teenager with no life experience decided she knew everything about me after overhearing a half of a joke I was telling to one of the other baristas. That one experience made me boycott bigfoot Java for over a month. Eventually I decided that this young girl was not going to run me out of my favorite coffee shop and I started going back. She is still there and every time I pull up to the window she runs and hides in the back room rather than confronting me or even attempting to understand how rude she was from a customer service standpoint. Apparently I am not the only one she has a problem with as several other customers (both men and women) I have come across have had similar interactions with her. All in all a great staff and coffee at this shop except one bad apple. But as she is still there I can only give 3 stars. read more

I go there one afternoon, and it's not busy at all. The car ahead of me is ordering one drink and it is taking a long time to get them this drink. Finally, I roll up and there are not one, not two, but three ladies "working" there - I think maybe one was officially working there -her name and picture were proudly displayed to alert customers that she was the barista this afternoon - the other two must have been there for camraderie. You would think that sheer numbers would speed up things, but not for these three. My drink order is taken, and now goes through this committee to make. The ladies are involved with each other's lives, and certainly not this customer's, so I wait for my drink, get it, and leave. Very little customer interaction, other than to take my money. No wonder the bikini barista places are taking over in Edmonds. read more

Drip coffee is always lukewarm and they're often under staffed weekend mornings with only one barista taking up to 15-20 minutes to wait through the drive thru. Only reason I occasionally come back for coffee here is location, convenience, and hoping today won't be the day it takes over 15 minutes to get a cup of coffee. One star for overall customer experience however the baristas all seem friendly even though they have screwed up on my simple drip coffee order by forgetting to add cream. 8/16/2015 Visited thus location where I go a lot and never had an issue..in fact the two young ladies in the am have my drink going for me as I pull up...but on this day all hell broke loose!! First we were the fourth car in line..thinking every car before us ordered like 10 drinks we got very upset to see no more than 2 drinks pass thru the window!!! After waiting for over 10 minutes a girl popped her head out the window and mouthed "sorry" for what?? Being so slow you are chasing regulars away?? Finally we get to the window ordered 2 drinks one blended and one iced...she blended them both...advised the mistake and the look on her face was like " can't you just accept what I made?" She huffed remade the drink correctly..she stirred it slammed the spoon into the sink with such force I thought it would bend!! I then told her I had a number to give for their loyalty program...." What's the #?" Said with contempt and disgust..... Left no tip...drinks did not taste as good as they usually do.. Side note after both windows were backed up for long wait times... The blonde Batista new to the stand ....was visiting with her mother!! Line backing up chatting it up with Mommy...I could not believe it!! Anyway as I pull out I pull over check my loyalty card on my phone...guess what ?? No new points!! Did she even bother?? Could she come back and confirm..did she say I didn't find it...hell no!! So I call said person answers I ask for contact info for the manager she is like " er uh I don't know..I don't usually work thus stand" what if your coworker falls and breaks her head open?? After 911 shouldn't you know who to call from the business??? Found it very sketchy..she asks what us wrong and I tell her "you made my drinks wrong..treated me with attitude and did Not run my loyalty card!!! But that's okay..you have a fabulous day!!" Unlike many others, I'll drink coffee whenever and where ever! So it's great that there is a 24hr coffee stand just down hwy 99 if I'm just dying for some. As for the coffee, they make a pretty decent cup... probably better then Starbucks in my honest opinion.
