The offer that was not honored on 9/21 for the 16oz drink. This was a screenshot of my app on 9/20.

I hate to leave a negative review, but our experience was pretty awful. I have worked many jobs in customer service and have never seen an employee be so dismissive to a patron. I came by to check out this Bigfoot Java and try a drink for free using the customer appreciation promotion, but was not able to. On the app it said it would be good through today, 9/21 for a free drink. I was trying to ask about how to use it and the employee said "I really can't hear you. You have to wait". She came over and I asked how to use the free drink offer. She seemed annoyed to help, and said "what's your phone number or do you have a QR code in the app". I showed her the QR code and she said it didn't have the offer on it. She walked away. I showed her a screenshot of the offer saying it would be good through today. She came back to see it then walked away and said "I don't know if you like used it or whatever" and shrugged. I didn't really know what to do so I just said "ok then" and drove away. I had waited for 10 minutes in line and to not be offered any help and to have the employee insinuate I was lying to get another drink was wild. I did some reading and the drinks are super high in sugar anyways (50+ g, more than double the recommended daily amount for women), so maybe it was for the best. But the rude and dismissive service and the offer not being honored was disrespectful.

This is such a nice grab and go drink shop. They have sodas and infusions that are so customizable. I got a hot chocolate which was good nothing spectacular but hit in a pinch. The worker got everything out quick while working by herself.

This review is based mainly on the dark mocha. My husband will get the drip which he says is just ok. The dark mocha (hot) was AWESOME the first few times I got it. I like dark chocolate and hate overly sweet drinks, so this was perfect. Last time I got it, it was good but had more of a plain chocolate flavor than a "mocha" flavor. Hopefully it was just an off day. The time I got the dark mocha iced though... it just wasn't the same. It way way more bland, as if there weren't enough chocolate/coffee, and too much ice. I will never get it iced again. The baristas are always friendly and considerate. This continues to be my go-to for a hot dark mocha when I'm in the area!

Cute branding and menu, but unfortunately my drink was too sweet and didn't impress me much. I tried the Marionberry mocha but I didn't get much berry and hardly any coffee flavor was present. If you're looking for a total sugar rush then this may be your place, but for me it was just okay.

    Great coffee, zero customer service

First time trying big foot Java all the way from Hawaii and all I can say is that, the workers here have ZERO customer service. The lady who helped us, her name's (Mae) was very unprofessional, took our order and she instantly made us feel unwelcomed. She started making our drink and once she saw a friend or relative on the other side of the window she asked a different worker to finish our drink just so she can chat with the person, so we ended up wasting more time waiting for our drink. Workers chat right in-front of you so you hear their whole conversation, 4 workers inside but only 1 person gets to move and makes the drink. I get that bunch of teenagers works at this coffee shop but at least try to be professional! Won't be coming back.

    More drinks. Very yummy nevertheless.

Still 5 stars because they've been superb during quarantine. I've been here about 10 times since quarantine started which is quite frequently. For the whole quarantine they have never had 32 ounce sippy cup lids which is inconvenient because they ask you to find your own straw... but sometimes I really just feel like drinking 32 oz and not waiting till I get home to drink. They are stellar with their no contact service. In the middle of the day or around 2pm it takes about 20 minutes to get a drink during this quarantine season. I feel like it is that way until around 8pm or so. At night they're busiest at midnight but that really doesn't compare to the daytime rush.

    Hot chocolate.

Love their white chocolate nonfat, sugar free latte. It's really good, but a bit pricey at nearly $5 each for a grande.

Pretty cool find if you are ever in the neighborhood!…read more Mountlake Terrace is not a place I frequently visit, but I did because of the convenience with the light rail - it's about a 9-minute walk from the light rail station. The interior has a warm and cozy vibe; I also dig the lighting. There's a good amount and variety of seating. They don't have outlets on the floor at the benches in the center, but there are a few outlets on the walls, so if you need to charge your devices I recommend sitting at the chairs next to the treasure chest (where I'm writing this review lol). Space seems very dog friendly, and there are 2 tables outside where the fur baby pawrents would typically sit with their fur babies. I also saw dog treats at the cashier that dog owners are free to take. I guess if you wanted to eat them you could, but I would judge you. For my drink, I got the Woodsman - opted for iced, large size, and whole milk. The drink was very chai spice-forward, which I loved. The staff member who took my order asked for my name, and later on when I went up to inquire the WiFi password, he addressed me by name - impressive. The owner (?), Heather, also thanked me for coming here after I picked up my drink. Needless to say, super friendly people. I didn't get a pastry or sandwich, but that's the goal for my next visit!

Given this I cannot accurately rate the Woodsman as I got it with almond milk and wasn't a fan. My husband is also in the same boat as me with regards to milk. Please consider adding at least a 2% although skim would be amazing. If you like whole milk/alternatives please give this place a shot!

In long I'm in this neighborhood regularly these days, and this might be the best of the coffee spots I've tried so far. They're right at Five Corners, and they probably crank all morning. In recent days I've certainly stolen parking from them after they close, 'cause they share the parking with two of the best restaurants in Edmonds. They're much bigger than the garden sheds you see as coffee spots sometimes. Probably room for a TV and an easy chair in there for when it's slow. They have the usual lineup of coffees, some teas, and what might be a pretty good pastry list, though I wasn't eating today. The kid working today was super warm and friendly in a pleasantly relaxed way. My Americano was ready in no time. Cost a few pennies more for 2 shots than some place, but the coffee tasted a fair bit better. Pretty chocolatey for black coffee. She had me out the door and on in my way before ya know it. Much as I like constantly trying new places, I might have to come back here--even before I run out of places to try.

Fortunately, there was no traffic so it was a 20 min drive easily. However, a lot seemed to have changed from about a year ago? We got popcorn chicken which was $9 for a very tiny plate (like the medium size sampler food container you get at food tasting events) which is a joke of a portion, and the chicken was not even good quality - heavy on the batter. Compared to pictures a year ago, where the portions looked much much larger. They are so stingy on the amount of chicken, that I thought they were giving us a sample to try before they make a real batch lmaooooo. I tried the Kocochi milk tea with creme brulee, boba, jelly, etc. Sounds good on paper, inflation I get it, was expecting $7 but it was $8, plus tax, so it is actually not that competitive of a price anymore now that I think about it. I could get a very good quality boba drink for $7.50+tax elsewhere without all the fancy toppings, but with boba included. I was pretty disappointed with the quality. The boba is so overcooked that it is mushy, and the creme brulee was not thick enough that I have to use a spoon to even be able to get any of it out (instead of being able to drink it from the other side which is what it is supposed to be). I'd avoid this place unless this is a one off but I will need to be redeemed a better experience before recommending this place. There are better options in the area

I will not be purchasing anything from them again but if you're going to, specially in higher quantities, be sure to ask them for the expiration date of the product before purchasing. I bought 200 espresso capsules to last me at least a few months while I traveled internationally. When I received the boxes I noticed that the capsules were going to expire in only 2 months. I reached out to the customer service team and asked if I could have the capsules exchanged with ones that would still be good for another few months and to my surprise, they denied my request. This is unacceptable and very frustrating. When a product is due to expire in less than 3 months, the least you can do is to note that in the description so that when someone wants to make a bulk purchase for any given reason, they can take that into consideration.
