However, the hot drink menu is confusing and bizarre in some places. This would be no big deal if it weren't a bagel place. Where arguably hot drinks are probably the menu item for which many frequent the establishment. Today, try as I might I couldn't simply get two espresso shots the advertised price on the sign. Both people working tried to ring it up as two separate espresso shots at around $3 a piece. They didn't bat an eyelash at my comment that why would I pay $6.50 for two espresso shots when a latte that contains two costs around $5. They said to ask upper management who sets the prices. Their sign for espresso has the sizes in oz which makes no sense as espresso itself is already a standard size/volume. But even the sizes on the menu for espresso have 2 shots, 3 shots, 4 shots written under them (priced reasonably as a drink) and then the price to add milk is +1. So, the menu pricing as designed makes some sense. But, the staff doesn't seem to understand how to ring up the items it would seem.
