I used to be a marathon runner. Running was my thing...more than just a hobby for me, it was a way of enjoying my life. Running has taken me so many places... and given me so much happiness and joy. Last April, I began to suffer from a rare form of multiple sclerosis and I lost all feeling from my diaphragm to my feet. Almost overnight I went from the normal me, to a me I don't recognize anymore. I cannot walk without a cane... and I will never run again. Somehow, I am lucky enough that I can still ride a bike. I have never been part of the "biking scene," and I don't know enough about bikes to make the right choices. I live in Jupiter and I visited all of the shops in my own town. Every place I looked for bike either just ignored me or made me feel stupid. One place even tried to sell me an expensive bike marketed for female riders. I went into Tri Bike Run only because I was passing by AND I am SO thankful. Vince, the store manager listened to everything I said and found the perfect bike for me... a mountain bike I ride through the trails I used to run. Every time I have a question or a concern, someone at the shop helps me. They never look at me differently... they just want to help me to be successful. I was so happy with my purchase, I decided to buy a road bike too. Again, they found the right bike for me, and I put the bike on layaway. My family and I feel connected to this wonderful place. Tri Bike Run is the only place to buy your running shoes. They will take tne time to analyze your gait to see what type of shoes are best for you. I purchased my trithlon bike from them. Rudy worked with me to make all the seat and and handlebar adjustments I needed to make sure the bike was adjusted properly for the way I ride. All of their employees are very knowledgeable in the products they sell and will help you decide what bike or shoes or other products would be best for your needs. The owners Gorge and Linda are very involved in the community. They sponsor many races throughout year and the store also hosts many workshops, classes and training seminars on everything from training for your first tri, to marathon training, tire changing clinics, and running groups. Bought my Trek Marlin here and they always provide great service. During a trip to the Fedex Office today, I ran into tourist who had a flat tire. Since she was from Texas, she didn't know about Bikes Palm Beach. I gave her a ride to the store and they took care of her flat tire in record time! Almost as fast as the UAE techs when they are changing out a flat tire on Pogacar's bike. Great store with friendly knowledgeable technicans and superb ownership.
