So, I checked out online, if they even carried my tires and they had them! So, I called and the sales person checked to make sure if he had them in stock and they had 6, so yeesss! Then I asked him, what are the chances the tires could be put on today, and he responded, come on over!!! That was great! Out we headed and when I arrived, I was waited on immediately and I was in and out of there in about 30 mins!!! The staff were friendly and helpful and very polite. I know that I probably caught them on a "not so busy time", but either way, I was pleased. While we waited in the garage, they have seating with a tv to watch and a little kids table with coloring books and crayons, which was great for me, since I had a couple of kids with me. Overall, very happy and the price for the tires were waaaay below anyone around. So, if you're in the area or need some work done, check out Walmart Auto Care Center.

It is rare they do not have the parts I am looking for and that encompasses, hybrids, trucks, marine, and RV. Highly recommend this store. Dangerous conditions to pull over and get out, so I reached out the window, grabbed and snapped the wiper when the wiper flew off the car. Merry F_____ Christmas, stranded in a whiteout trying to get to Christmas dinner. A nice guy from ME DOT switched the passenger side to the drivers side and got me back on the road. A big shout out to Randy! I went to O'Reilly, and the same fellow who helped me the last visit, tried in earnest to help me again. See RON. He did not have the exact wiper because my car is new and has a new attachment. WHY do they do this? Wipers have been staying on cars for decades with no problem (just don't snap them), so why the hell do they need to confound the public with half a dozen different attachments!?? Ron tried several, intent on getting it to work, alas only not to be rewarded for his effort. I had to go to VW. But Ron is the epitome of great customer service. As another example, Ron told me if you're driving and feel a vibration, it's the snow and ice in the wheel. Sure enough, next day, I'm driving and thinking what is wrong NOW?!! Then remembered his sage advice. Once I got the embedded snow out of the wheels, all was well. Had Ron not offered that advice, I would have been spending time taking the car to the dealer. If you're going to O'Reilly, ask for Ron.

We hvae never felt "taken" as we have at auto dealership service departments or chain store repair shoppes (which shall remain unnamed...VIP auto:). They also saved us from a few bad used car purchases by their pre purchase inspections. Anyway the world needs more honest repair shops that are family run like this.

I was referred to Autometrics from a guy that worked at Advanced Auto Parts who noticed I had a frayed transmission belt when replacing my headlight. Autometrics works only on foreign vehicles and these shops are well-known in the area for doing exceptional work. Both Ray (Pleasant Street) and Teddy (Bath Road) are amazing. Ray is the original owner of the Pleasant St. location and Teddy is his daughter who runs the Bath Rd. location. Both of them know their stuff and are the most personable shop owners I've ever met. My first time going in, Ray took a peek under my hood and was honest about the fact that I could wait a little bit before getting a belt replaced. He also advised me on how to save on labor with other maintenance things I know I needed done down the line. When it was time to do the work, I needed a great deal of work done on my Subaru and was expecting to pay big bucks for it (head gaskets, new tires, timing belt, etc.).. I was pleasantly surprised when I was told the amount for the service! Finally, when I was ready to part ways with the Forester, I took the vehicle I was looking at in to get it looked over at the Pleasant St. location. Ray gave me some free advice that ended up saving me money in the long run. He looked up what my trade-in value of the Subaru would be and the NADA value of the Honda CRV I was looking at and advised me on what would be a good deal for me. I will continue to be a loyal Autometrics customer- they are the best!
