Kim was very friendly and helped make sure I signed up for exactly what I needed (60,000 miles service). To my surprise, I get a call from Christeena a little bit later, who explained that because I got it CPO a few months earlier, there may be some services I don't need to do again. It was refreshing to see someone asking about prior service history and helping me figure out what I needed. She was great all around and professional, both on the phone and in email exchanges with me. Lastly, I meet Doug who received me when I arrived on Saturday morning. He helped me figure out I needed a tire lug-nut key specific to my vehicle. Turns out I didn't have it and wasn't given one, but Doug and the great service people there found the time and popped each one out themselves and got me set up with regular nuts. Doug was also professional, and I appreciated the way he set me up with everything I needed. My wait time was right about what they quoted so no surprises there. The waiting room was clean and what you'd expect. A conclusive statement: I liken getting regular maintenance auto service like a coffee shop visit, you get in and you get out, knowing what you want to get and what it costs. Looking back, I grossly overpaid, but I allowed myself to be pressured based on explicit assurances from their service department. The service manager specifically looked me in the eye and bragged that the vehicle was "better than inspectable." He guaranteed me that he would personally inspect it and perform any services that were even remotely close to needing attention so that I wouldn't face immediate repair bills. This turned out to be entirely false. I now have a sway bar link issue that requires attention, and the service department is completely refusing to cover it. I was lied to just to get the paperwork signed. Get a third-party inspection before giving them a dime. Management has my contact info on file under my account, but they have already made it clear they won't help.

It was otherwise a suitable vehicle for me and the test drive was good, but vehicles I was looking at elsewhere were priced better. Therefore, I was surprised when they said they don't negotiate whatsoever on prices. They also insisted on looking at my current vehicle to assess the trade in value, even though I didn't express interest I having them do that, and they gave me a laughable value. Ultimately, I purchased a nearly identical Rav4 (same trim, etc) elsewhere with 4k more miles for $5.5k less.

We wanted a replacement (under warranty), but they had to "check it" first. This would literally take a minute. We droppped off the faulty charger on this past Saturday and hoped we would get a replacement on the following Monday or Tuesday. As of Tuesday they hadn't had "a chance" to look at it. Yeah, right. If it's going to take you that long why don't they give us one to use in the meantime? So now we have to go to a public charger which costs $ every time (time that we don't have as we have to drive to the Portland area (from New Gloucester) and we are extremely busy and have to go out of our way to do so. The VW mechanic comes back with a laundry list of problems and quotes me nearly 4 thousand dollars in repairs that are needed not only that apparently the rear main seal is leaking oil onto the exhaust and should have never received an inspection sticker in the first place! I fought with Nicki (Owner/manager) for months eventually got them to handle some of the work but was still responsible for covering about half the repair bills myself with my own mechanic. In addition to that they never reported that I paid sales tax (Despite it supposed to have been in my financing. so I guess they pocketed that) so I had to shell out for that when I went to register the vehicle as well. Would not recommend! This business had such a bad reputation in Augusta/Manchester they had to move to Brunswick just to stay in business. They do not honor warranties or cover or even help with the cost of major repairs that your vehicle might need shortly after you buy it. They sell vehicles poor quality vehicles and have horrible customer service.
