Our food was brought very quickly after we sat down from the restroom. I chose the Brisket, Mac 'n Cheese, and Green Beans. The Brisket was sliced super thin almost like deli meat and was dry. The Mac 'n Cheese was made with elbows which is my favorite, but there was too much cheese like a sauce on them. The Green Beans were the biggest disappointment because they were swimming in something like a greasy tomato-based sauce. I ordered tacos on 02/27/2026 at 10:20 AM from Bill Miller #14 on the street of Bandera in San Antonio, Texas 78238. Usually the tacos are good to me but sometimes they are not. The taco tortilla this day were very thick. If not the whole tortilla it was half tortilla was thick so it didn't taste full cooked. I drove further away from the one closest to me because of the same reason. The food is usually good but the breakfast tacos are a hit and miss. The other meals tasted good more times than not. There are nice workers there that are greeting the customers so that star is for them. I used the drive through and that was smooth but on that day I believe the outside speaker might not have been working but it is good that it was accommodated. I hope the workers from there are praised and that the person making the tortillas gets a bit more training. read more

Bill Miller's is by no means five-star Texas BBQ. It's more of a fast-food option than a place to go to get sauced (BBQ sauce that it!) It's a chain all over San Antonio. They have the best Sweet Tea in all of Texas. Ask for the largest size, and they'll hand you a literal bucket of tea. Texas sized! Their breakfast tacos are fairly good- especially for the speed (drive-thru!) and price. Their potatoes that they use for the breakfast tacos are more of a spicy hash brown than just chunks of white potato that you usually see in tacos. Their coffee is bland and weak. The top popped off and coffee got all over me. $!%! At least the service is speedy, and the prices are reasonable. Go for the Sweet Tea on a hot day. read more

We ordered a quarter chicken delight with dark meat and they gave us a salad that was all messed up and i did not receive the quarter of chicken. We ordered a number 4 and they gave us only crispies instead of actual chicken strips. One thing that completely caught me off guard was that all our bread rolls had mold on them. It's surprisingly nice for a fast food place, like Rudy's except for separate tables. Food was good, not great, not quite as good as Rudy's. Cole slaw was a vinegar pepper thing, not mayo based. Terrible service. Finally got around to making this review. Back in May of 2022 after a long trip to Eagle pass and back I decided to place an order in the drive thru I got the #10 family meal. I got my family order of chicken and only to find a few strands of long black hair was wrapped around my 3 of my French fries. Was so disgusted I called back to let them know, they simply under reacted and only replaced my order but i sincerely hope this happens to no one else. The paper bags are greasy and my food was cold by them time I got it replaced and went back. I also didn't see many workers with gloves on as they prepared food. This wasn't the only time though . I have also received MOLDY bread rolls with my barbecue plates and hard loaves of bread. It's often a hit or miss with this place. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR ORDER AT THE WINDOW!! Husband and I just stopped here because we took this exit headed to wataburger and decided that we would try Bob Millers. I had a number six which was a smoked turkey salad best thing salad I've probably ever eaten. Oh by the way you can get a variety of different meats on it. Husband had fries gravy and chicken strips. Well...I have been visiting BBQ restaurants all across the USA to find the best brisket. Unfortunately...I should have just stayed out of this Bill Miller location. The brisket was extremely dry. I was not enjoying the flavor of it at all. The potato salad was ok, and the potatoes that came with it were very salty..so Food gets a zero. Staff...the person taking the order was very helpful and friendly. When I asked for a refill for my iced tea...the manager quickly butted in that it was an additional 50 cents. We were pleasantly surprised with this affordable, fast food style Barbeque. At this particular location, its a no frills, plain Jane, nothing to look at establishment. Although we've heard that there a much nicer locations inside San Antonio. But as far as the food we tried goes... They have very good Brisket, full of smoked flavor, and juicy. I know some folks like theirs dry so if this is the case, make sure to ask for lean slices of brisket. They serve both lean and dry as well as fatty and juicy or right down th middle, just specify. This ribs were just a succulent and well smoked. And believe it or not, the fried chicken is just as good as they say it is. As far as the Barbeque sauce goes, there are two schools of thought. One that say that the secret to a good barbeque is in the sauce... And as my Texan Family would say the secret to good barbeque is in the meat. That's why some of us will spend all day behind the pit to bust out a few briskets. Having said that, Bill Miller's lives up to that statement by not coving up all that goodness with overly rich, thick sauces. Don't get me wrong, even I enjoy powerful thick sauces when the meat is flavorless and overdone, but in this case. it would be a crime to cover a well smoked meat.
