Witches Brew is a place to find all sorts of magical things, but it is also just a divine (in every sense of the word) place to sit and have a hot beverage and a pastry. It's worth a visit to this coffee shop just to see the decor. It's purple everywhere, with mood lighting, mirrors, gothic tchotchkes, creepy dolls, skulls and other fun and slightly ominous curio. There are cool things in every corner, and even though I had intended on getting my coffee to go, I decided to sit for a while because coffee sometimes just tastes better when you're surrounded by cobwebs and broomsticks. I got an Americano, which is usually my go-to if I don't know how strong the house drip will be. The Americano was nice and smooth. I didn't have to wait long at all for my coffee. I visited on a weekday during the morning, and there were two people ahead of me, but the line went fast and my coffee came out quickly.

I also like how this business seeks to give people an alternative to bars, when you want to get out, sip on something, but be careful about it. This is definitely worth a visit to learn more.

Though you could definitely do that here too. This shop has all the faves you've grown to love at Quills Coffee. The dirty chai is my go-to. I also noticed a fun list of seasonal drinks, including an apple chai for fall. It also had a selection of baked goods, of which I opted for a cranberry orange scone.
