Great coneys but even better root beer. No frills and cash only. Waited on while in the car or go sit on a couple of the picnic tables!!!!

This was such a fun experience! I like hot dogs and my friend loves them! We decided to do a little drive to Yipsi and check out this famous little hot dog stop. It's a unique place with an old time vibe. You order from your vehicle and they bring out the trays with your food...kinda like Happy Days. We absolutely loved their Root Beer to accompany our delicious dogs! I highly recommend this place!

If you've read other reviews about their root beer being amazing, that's because it really is! I like it over A&W's taste! The service here is quick even when they are busy & parking lot is full. The menu is small but everything is delicious, hot dog, ground beef, chilli and the root beer. Heads-up: It's a cash only drive-up restaurant.

Quick, simple and to the point coney joint. They take your order at the car (we didn't know this at first) and don't expect them to write anything down. However, our order was 100% correct. 1 chili dog, 2 Loosey's, a bag of chips and homemade root beer was almost $10.00. The food was delicious and customer service was fantastic. They only take cash so glad we had some on us. I'll def return if I'm in Ypsilanti again.

It isn't about the quality of the dog. While this was a nice quick treat: the dog was tasty and the root beer was cold and sweet- it was the two dudes running food out to folks that made the moment. Thanks for your generosity and welcome to a traveler

Bills are great every time! The root beer is amazing along with the chilli dogs. The staff brings the food out to your car and they are always pleasant. You can eat in your car or sit at one of the picnic tables. It is cash only so remember to stop at an atm first.

I wasn't a huge fan of the hibiscus lemonade. It was overly sweet with zero tartness, and I'd expect both from lemons and hibiscus. The chili cheese dog was fine. I think the chili is quite good but the cheese kind of dampened the flavor down. I recommend it with mustard. My favorite was the bacon jalapeno dog, while my partner preferred the coney. I think the hotdogs themselves have good flavor and are more similar in texture to a meat dog than any other imitation I've tried. I'd be willing to try more, but it's not a priority. I know it's all vegan but I will say I thought it was kind of expensive for what you get. But that's the economy we're living in, I guess!

They call their burgers "squeeze" on the menu, but I never thought to ask the nice waitress why that was the case. I definitely enjoyed my burger and curly fries, and so did my son, but I wouldn't say either we're outstanding. If you wanna come here just for the experience alone, I recommend it. So this spot as the bartenders would say, would be one of the only spots to grab something to eat at. The venue is a little rough to put it lightly. Bulletproof glass partition, maybe for a good reason. Clientele was sketch, I'm sure they're good people, but still gives that heavy drug use vibe. Staff, was direct to the point. Not an issue, BUT, it's an open kitchen and I can hear all the conversation that the kids were discussing. I'm sure it's buddy talk, but openly talking about getting fellached or trying to get fellached just isn't proper when there are proper clientele in the dining area. My double Got burger was alright, nothing to brag about. The husband's mushroom burger was lackluster as well. It would probably be my last choice if ever I were to be in the area again. The only reason why is because they're open for business after 2am. Other than that, I'd totally skip it. Thank you so much for reading my review. I hope this helps with your decision making experience. Enjoy your awesome yelptastic day!!
