I hadn't dined at Noodles and Company in well over a year, possibly 2 years, so I was excited to dine at what was one of my favorite restaurants in undergrad. The customers service was great! The girl that took my order answered my questions and gave me a few recommendations too. After I placed my order, I went over to get my silverware and had to grab 3 forks before I found a clean one. After finding a clean fork, I snagged a seat and my food came out shortly after. The Buffalo Mac and Cheese bowl itself was good, but I was underwhelmed by the portion of chicken. I ordered a large bowl, and there wasn't nearly enough chicken to go with Mac and Cheese. I ended up eating about half of the noodles and tossed the rest. I, personally, won't back for a while, but its definitely a solid option if you're trying to grab something that is reasonably priced and fast. read more

This Noodles & Company location is so bad they basically said, "We messed up your food -- let USPS finish the job." I ordered shrimp scampi and a garden salad. They handed me some soggily breaded chicken sitting on top of macaroni with cheese like it was a last‑minute science project. Not even close to what I ordered. Not even in the same ZIP code. I called, and of course they already knew the orders were mixed up because the person who got my shrimp scampi had already called. So everyone's dinner was wrong. It was a whole community swap‑meet of disappointment. Their solution? Not to fix it. Not to refund it. Not to remake it. They offered to MAIL me coupons. MAIL. As in: "We can't get your food right, but trust us with your address and a stamp." Suddenly my dinner became a USPS group assignment. I live 30+ minutes away, it was almost 10 PM, and now apparently my shrimp scampi is on a 3-5 business day delivery timeline. If you want the food you actually ordered, skip this place. Since this place is near my office it would be great if this could be a regular lunch location for me. However, apart from a select few helpful and friendly staff, this place is very poorly run. Over the past few weeks I've encountered broken air conditioning, broken fountain drink machine with no offer for a bottle of water, sticky tables, musty smell, no potstickers or other side items (happens frequently). Add to this some nasty staff with perpetual attitudes and bad moods and this place is best avoided. It has gotten progressively worse. Would give a zero if I could. The food is really below average. The customer service is so rude. me, and my children were trying to have a peaceful night, before going to a theatrical experience. This ruined my night. not to mention, on multiple occasions at the same location, I have found hair in my food I have an image above, but the first time it happened, the staff was so rude and didn't deliver our food for nearly an hour and one of the people who were rude, Left a bunch of beard hair in my pasta. I give up on noodles. They've been going downhill for a while but tonight my penne rosa had three spinach leaves, two mushrooms, and the always mediocre chicken tasted like a salt lick. The extra sauce was about two tablespoons and the garlic bread was so salty I could barely eat it and missing the sauce. Penne Rosa Never have I ever received a curdled dish from them. This is the first time I ever did and get a stomach ache from it afterward. I went May 16th with my husband. The sauce was curdled, cold and flavorless, I was eating water and pasta pretty much. There was tomatoes when I asked for no tomato and the shredded Parmesan was one big clump. Noodles & Co in general: The reason I come here is for the Bangkok Curry bowl. It's tasty and just filling enough that I feel satisfied (if not quite full) and it's only 550 calories. They also have "buff bowls" which are much lower in calories, but you get spinach instead of noodles. These aren't as filling, but they are tasty. The rest of the menu is rather high in calorie, but tasty enough. The alfredo bowl is pretty good. I'd stay away from the spaghetti and meatballs simply because it's not worth the price. I can make a mountain of better tasting spaghetti at home for a fraction of the price. Overall, this isn't really a fine dining experience, but the food is decent, fast and convenient for about $10 a person. And, as I said, the Bangkok Curry bowl is a great option for someone watching their calories. As for this particular location: Wow, we came on a Friday night and this place was PACKED. And LOUD. It seems like this is the only reasonably priced dining option in this quaint little shopping district. All other restaurants seem to be $20/person. So of course it was packed with teenagers and families...people who want to go out on a Friday night without spending a fortune in La Grange. The dining room is not very spacious and I felt a little claustrophobic. But the staff was friendly and still managed to get our order to us rather quickly, especially considering how crowded it was. read more

I am so disappointed in this place. I have never had a bad experience here; however, yesterday I went in to get a free bowl that the manager gave me in exchange for screwing up my previous order. I was not able to get something that I ordered at another Noodles & Company location. So instead, I asked if the beef stroganoff had meat that was lean or fatty. I mentioned I don't eat much meat and that I would be totally grossed out if it was fatty or grissly. The woman at the restaurant said it was lean. I get home and what I discover is a bowl of dry noodles with not even a tablespoon of sauce on them and not one piece of meat that was edible, it was all grissly. The reason for the 1 star is for being lied to and served food that should never have passed quality control. Do not look at the pictures if it will gross you out. Went for dinner. The employees are pleasant and efficient when it comes to taking the orders and serving. When it comes to stocking straws and ice, not so much. Even with three people on the front, a customer ahead of me had to find and stick straws. At least he was not shy about going through the cabinet next to the soda machine. Also my kiddo asked for extra sauce and cheese on his mac and cheese. When I looked at the bill it was $1.75 extra but nobody advised us of that. The pad Thai was good and spicy. I have been eating at this Noodles & Co. since I was in middle school. In fact, this is the first Noodles & Co. I ever went to. It has changed a lot over the years. When I first started coming here, portions were bigger and prices were lower. As time wore on, prices were higher, and portions got smaller. Today, a smiley employee let me know that if I didn't like a dish that I could always send it back and get something else, free of charge. +The food is good! I have never ordered something that I disliked. +Prices are reasonable. Sure, it may be a bad idea to order the buttered noodles with parmesan and seasoning if you're looking for good value (that's the easiest to make yourself at home), but overall, the prices feel fair. +Ample seating. I'm not going to lie, this place can get really crowded at lunchtime, but I have never not been able to find a table. -It gets LOUD. Screaming kids and flirting teenagers are frequent customers at this location. If you want to have a quality conversation with another person, I would NOT go here. If I had written this review before today, I would have given this location three stars. However, with the really friendly cashier from today and the bigger portions for a size small, I'm happy to give four stars. Sure, this is a chain, but it's a chain I really like! Tip: Skip the fancy drink machine. I tried it once to experience the novelty and quickly learned that all drink options have pretty much the same flavor: high fructose corn syrup. When you go to a place called "Noodles & Co," you would expect them to be really good at dishes that involve noodles. In my experience, they just aren't, and that makes me so sad. I have given this place 4 tries since I have some friends who LOVE it here, and each time I felt like I could have had a better meal for the same price elsewhere. Their Asian dishes seriously lack flavor. The mac & cheese is average at best. The Italian dishes are ok, but are significantly improved if you add the Parmesan Chicken, and by the time you do that you may was well have paid for a sit down dinner at a nicer Italian place for a few dollars more. So, Noodles & Co., "meh, I've experienced better" (two stars) is really the perfect way to describe you. You aren't terrible, but you just let me down every time. read more

To preface this review, I am not a major noodle shop conniseur. I've only been to a few, including Hi Ricky, which was probably my favorite. This one is kind of the Panera of noodles. Since Chipotle is the McDonald's version of Mexican, and Subway is the McDonald's of Panera, I guess Noodles & Company would be the Chipotle of...oh I don't know. It's a great alternative to fast food. They serve a few spicy dishes, and thai-type stuff, and I do enjoy it in the autumn for whatever reason. And it's pretty quick. read more

My kids favorite place to eat lately, but it is also good for adults. Favorites include Pesto Cavatappi (I regularly substitute spinach for the mushrooms) and the Market Salad. The Mac and Cheese is really yummy and comforting too -- exactly what you want when you are in the mood for it. This location gets very busy at dinner time, so can be a bit messy, but the staff is friendly and willing to help. They used to have wine and beer, but they do not anymore.
