Let me start by saying I'm not the biggest fan of Chinese food but I love a good Scorpion Bowl. The food here was fairly standard as far as "good" chinese goes. They have a very large menu, when I went late on a Saturday night they weren't super busy but the service was a little slow but very friendly. Realisticaly I would rate this pace 3.5 stars. On a side note they have a small bar here and was surprised to see people smoking butts in there, is that allowed or is Billy Tse's above the law. Either way it didn't bother me. This place has been doing it right for many many years. Yes parking can be tricky, but the quality of food is fantastic. It's in the heart of Revere and by that I mean near Revere Beach Khed !!! Visited yesterday for an early Sunday night dinner. Service was fine, and this visit I was with some elderly folks including someone with bad dementia/disorder, and they were nice -- manager came over twice to check on us. You don't come here for the decor, we ate in the front part by the bar with the flat screen TV with some type of game on--actually I'm a child of the 70's and remember when this was a pizza place with all the bowling trophies on proud display. Last night, tried the Pad Thai for the first time and was not disappointed. Very good quality food and a nice selection of dishes. I personally think that this restaurant has hands down the BEST Chinese food, specifically sesame chicken. I have been going there for years, and have never been disappointed. They always offers complimentary hot tea and have great customer service. Despite moving away, every time I visit they always recognize me and remember my order. The delivery was horrible the driver the first time around was half out of it and got lost then when they forgot sone of my food and the combination player was disappointingly small i had to order more food...already paying$41 now waiting for the next driver who also got lost to arrive with my guaranteed too be cold food to pay another $20....only good thing and reason i gave one star was the chicken fingers are awsome...but service all around is bad...when i tried calling to tell the guy his driver is lost and doesn't understand my directions he just yea yea yea me to death...will never go again and suggest no one waste their time with this place anymore. read more

Years ago this place was pretty good. The last two times I've gone there the food has been terrible. The most recent time I went there with three friends and two of us were sick from eating the food there. We had the pupu platter, pork fried rice, sesame seed chicken, orange beef with brocoliI wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I know... terrible stay away. I have lived nearby for 3 years now and so I've eaten their food a LOT. It's OK. Some dishes are really good, some not so good, and most just OK. The Fuloon in Malden is awesome and in comparison, makes this seem pretty dumpy. Key is in ordering one of the dishes they do well. read more

Great Cantonese duck and huge crab Rangoon packed with flavor. Delicious boneless spareribs weren't too heavy but the padthai fell flat.

I have to laugh when i read reviews that this place is anything short of great. The service is incredibly quick wether dining in or getting delivery, the restaurant is always super clean, the staff is very friendly with the exception of one them i can't remember his name, and the food is always top notch high quality chinese food. The only downfall is that parking is a complete nightmare unless you park in the doctors office parking lot 2 doors down, which i dont think many people even know about. I don't live in revere anymore, but i sure do miss billy tse! On a final note, i highly recommend that you ask for the spicy tofu. It's not on the menu and i found it only by chance. It will knock your socks off and your mouth will be on fire but you will be saying, "Damn that is sooooo good!" read more

Huge portions, sweet & sour chicken was excellent, General Tsao's was the perfect amount of spicy. I didn't like the egg rolls or rice. Good delivery time. A bit pricey because everything is ala carte (at least what we ordered.) I recommend lunch to try them out because the prices are much better and the portions are still huge. read more

The best Chinese food I have ever had. The atmosphere is nice and I love to come here to eat inside. The staff is professional, they never messed up on my order and the peki raviolis are simply to die for. They could use more parking out front, but it's worth parking down the street for their food and the deliveries are always right on time. My husband and I arrived at this restaurant at 11:10 pm last night. The sign on the door says they are open until 11:30pm. We were seated in the bar where there were about 20 people watching a game and enjoying drinks. A server approached us and demanded we order right away because the kitchen was getting ready to close. We did and the food arrived within minutes undercooked. We were very hungry so did not complain. However, one of the dishes we ordered included shrimp which were not deveined so it was essentially inedible. As we were eating another couple entered the restaurant and were allowed to take their time in ordering assumedly because they we regulars and friends of the server. I would not recommend this restaurant for the poor service and for the fact that they do not properly clean their seafood. Who wants to eat shrimp sh*t? Not me. read more

I enjoy this restaurant and the food is usually on point. The bartender Laurie is an awesome bartender and my drinks compliment my food, just wanted to point out that there is another bartender that works there and her name is Lisa, beware of this ignorant, rude, unprofessional person. Don't you ever try take one of "HER" bar stools. She will have a cow...MOOOO! Her tips are more important than service! So, for years the boy has been telling me about Billy Tse ... every time we go by he points and says.. we HAVE to go there sometime... You'll love it! Finally we did make it there, twice in recent history as a matter of fact. I usually try to go more than once before I write about a place.. first impressions and all.. Anyway the drinks were good, your standard PanAsian heavy on the rum 'n pineapple variety. I got the wonton soup both times (the second time because it was so good the first!) it was yummy, not just chicken broth with a dough ball in it, there was corn, carrots, lots of scallion and the wontons were filled! Two spoons up for that. My favorite thing on the menu is the spicy string beans, nicely done! They're not soggy or undercooked.. just right and the oyster sauce is nice and spicy. The chicken wings are good (we had the spicy salt ones the first time and regular the second) crisp and cooked right (not burned, not raw and bloody at the bone!) really good scallion pancake, not doughy nice and light loaded with scallion. The lo mein and spicy pork were very good. Overall it's good for your standard Pan-Asian fix. It is loud, the waitstaff are pleasant, chatty even. If you go it's a good idea to stuff everyone in one car because the parking lot is smaller than our driveway at home! read more

If you have a craving for authentic, affordable Asian fare, then Billy Tse's in Revere is a must go. I have been several times and have never been disappointed. This visit I had the sumptuous Hot and Sour soup and a late night ( after 9:00 p.m. ) combination special which included one of my favorites, shrimp with lobster sauce and meatless fried rice and a terrific zombie cocktail all for under $25 including tax and tip. Been eating this food for many years. Last night [Sat] delivery was over an hour. Beef was tough. Lo Mein overcooked, actually I kind of liked it as it had a smoke flavor. Usually I'd rate it a 3-5 star depending on who's cooking and delivery time. Going to be dining in or during the week delivery from now on. Not on weekend.
