We placed a carry out order while staying at a nearby hotel. I was happy to find a restaurant with delicious options for adults and kids and reasonable prices. Everyone I spoke to on the phone or in person was friendly and professional. Our food was ready quickly and the portions were generous. I went to Billy G's and was treated VERY Rude by a waitress with a leg brace. We went in the restaurant and their was not a hostess, so we walked to table and sat down (both of us are handicapped). After sitting their for 5 minutes w/o a menu, water or server, I got up and ask if we could have a menu. A girl came over a couple minutes later and slid 2 menus on the tabled and walked away. We had been wanting to try it out for a while. With the amount of people waiting and the wait time at 30-45 minutes for a 2 top we were excited. We found 2 seats at the bar within 10 minutes. The female bartender gave us menus but disappeared. There were 2 male bartenders one filling garnishes and the other running food. It took almost 10 minutes for the one filling garnishes to acknowledge us even though he had already greeted the couple who sat down next to us after we had sat down. We ordered right away, but again it took almost 30 minutes to get our food and we had to ask for silverware, butter for the toast, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Nobody asked if we needed drink refills and my husband had to flag down a busboy for more coffee. The food was just okay but nothing special. Came in on the 4th...let me tell you, AMAZING! First person we saw was a fine young man behind the bar named Nick. We were going to get a table but he was so great at his job that we opted to just sit at the bar (where you can also order food) and have brunch there. I CANNOT EXPRESS THIS ENOUGH...AMAZING Nick was the best server/bartender we could've asked for. He also made us the best drinks but they were too good to photograph! The food was delicious! Sunrise burrito was big and had a great taste with the hash brown crunch and rancho sauce on the side. Pancakes were very filling and came out hot and fresh. **Warning the pancake topping aren't baked into the pancakes, only on the top pancake which is why I gave 4/5. Service was amazing and quick. They had plenty of staff on a Friday morning and only open for 1 week. Atmosphere was awesome! Felt like a old school diner with the decor. We gave this place another try after our last 3 star visit and unfortunately we're still not impressed. This time visited on a weekday early lunch. While the restaurant wasn't busy, the service was incredibly slow. Both our waiter and from the kitchen. My husband's French toast was visibly burnt and the hashbrowns were soaked in grease. Not butter, full on grease flavor. I tried the meatball sandwich. I'm fine with a fork and knife kind of sandwich but the flavor was lacking. They were tender which was nice but the bread was tough and the sauce not flavorful. The chips also had no flavor and lacked seasoning or salt. Unfortunately we will not be giving a 3rd shot of this place. The price value is out of whack. For a diner during lunch, this is not a quick lunch spot. read more

My wife and I recently visited Billy G's Finer Diner for breakfast. The service was excellent and the food was very good. (Perhaps It should be noted, however, that it's hard to mess with a breakfast of eggs, pancakes, bacon, and coffee!) We found the atmosphere pleasant and the diner brightly designed. We also noticed the pictures and descriptions of their milk shakes and sundaes and decided we owe this place another visit to see whether they taste as good as their pics depict (the hamburgers and other sandwiches as well). The service from Andrew was great. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is very fun & friendly. My only disappointment was with the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes. Although they were delicious, they only put the cinnamon sugar & the cream cheese icing on the top 2 of the 5 stack of pancakes. So I was surprised that I was left with 3 plain pancakes. Have visited Billy G's twice and both times the food was amazing. First time the service was great but the second time once we were sat at a table we waited along time for service. Finally , glasses of water was delivered but one glass had a huge crack down the side of the glass . Once the waitress finally came back we were able to order and tell her about the glass. The food and ambience was great as expected from Billy G's Finer Diner. Our waitress, Nicole was training a new hire and not doing a great job. Besides taking our order and bringing the bill, there was no contact with us on our visit. Nicole and her trainee stood at another table for a good 20 minutes visiting with the patrons at that table. There was no visit to see if we were satisfied with the meal. We had to ask another employee for coffee, creamer, straws and we never received the hot sauce we usually use. If this is how newer employees are being trained, i feel sorry for the future of the restaurant. read more

Awful service and currently have a case open with the BBB regarding the ignorant behavior believing they could harass a customer and dodge it like dumbass kids with the redhead in the glasses being the worst offender. Haven't received a response yet either from their email or the BBB filing and will follow up as needed. And seriously if this stupid copout nonsense of dodging a complaint is their course of action the business is garbage. Day 1 of possible response about the complaint (they have been made aware both formally and BBB) - none and expecting the garbage to potentially continue with none. Day manager has been made aware he's liable for a harassment suit. It has now been almost a week and no response from the company over addressing the issue or providing an apology over the behavior. Had to call multiple times with an actual pickup today. Who the hell as a business thinks that is good customer service? Update: Was able to speak with Billy Gianino directly regarding the behavior and he expressed genuine concern over the employee behavior. Thankfully the management will address the problem and reflects well for customer service from the company at higher tiers. read more

Two lattes took 25 minutes and came after the food. After 15 minutes the server said the ticket was lost and it still took ten more minutes and asking twice to get them after our food. This was on a Friday at 10:30 with hardly anyone in the restaurant. Toast was wrong but I didn't want to wait until I was done with my breakfast to have it corrected. If you want a biscuit it's a $4 up charge. Omelet was light and fluffy and daughter enjoyed her waffle. read more

We were excited to finally try Billy G's until we weren't. I'll start off by saying the service was great! Our waitress was very attentive and very apologetic(I think that the cooks should have to come and apologize for the poor food that they prepare)for the quality of the food. I ordered two sausage patties and a bowl of grits. The first round of sausage Pattie's were returned after I wasn't able to cut thru them with my fork. The second set was retuned for the same issue. They were cooked so long they took on a jerky like appearance. The grits were lumpy and thick and just ok and the pancakes had a sour taste to them. read more
