The highlight was definitely the authentic Louisiana-style feast featuring freshly boiled crawfish from Cajun Boil Company. Everything came out perfectly seasoned, and the traditional fixings made the experience feel like a true taste of the South. I also loved that the ticket included a frozen cocktail -- it was strong, refreshing, and the perfect pairing for the spice. The value at $45 for 2 lbs of crawfish, fixings, and a drink felt more than fair for the quality and experience. What made the event even more meaningful was learning about its roots in honor of Al Rubin and his long-standing tradition of hosting crawfish boils for friends and family. It felt really special to be part of something with so much heart behind it. Knowing that all net proceeds benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation made the experience even more impactful. I love an adult slushy! This place is very large and can host any adult party. This is an adults only hangout as it is a bar so best to leave the kiddos at home. There are couches, high tops, regular tables, a patio, and cool chairs for seating. They offer hot and cold drinks but some may be coffee so beware of the extra caffeine! The venue often has loud music so the guests talk loudly too so this makes for a noise venue. Plus they were showing sports on the televisions so the cheering made it even louder. I used to be a frequent flyer at the other Narwhal's locations before having babies. I was so excited that they finally opened a location in Chesterfield so they are closer to us. This was my first time getting around to the new location. I got my drink to go. Heads up, they make you buy a bag of pretzels for 75 cents if you want your drink to go. Apparently, it is a new law or something. I was kind of annoyed at first, but the cinnamon sugar pretzels were so good, I wasn't upset for long lol. Sitting outside after the Game Show Battle with a work group. After a cocktail from another location, I knew I wanted a Narwhal's Frozen Cocktail and it was still Happy Hour! Bonus. I viewed the online menu for all the options available and decided to go with the Prickly Pear Margarita. Probably one I have had before but it sounded refreshing. Ordering and paying online was easy, I got the email indicating the order was sent. I thought I would get something when it was done but after not getting anything for a bit I just walked over. You enter on the inside mall area and the Pick-Up counter is at the back to the right. The employee asked my name, and my order was ready so I inquired about a confirmation it was ready, and she said that once you get the receipt they are making it so you can come right over. It was pretty early so they weren't that busy. It is a great space though, gives off tropical vibes and the server was friendly. I placed my order at the counter and my drink was made fresh right there in front of me and it was delicious! I love how they revived the district and added Narwhal's. I've been to other locations and I feel this one is the best. They have seating inside and a nice outdoor patio area. No umbrellas for outside but they have a fire pit for those chilly nights. You can order your drinks right at your table and they bring it to you. This is probably my 2nd most visited Narwhals location (1st being midtown). The location is really just so perfect as it's part of the District at the Hub and you can enjoy a drink inside, on their patio or while exploring the District. When you arrive, you order your drink at the counter. If you are not sure if you will like a drink, they do offer a small sample so that you a try before you commit. The workers are always really helpful and friendly and the line moves quick. Another option you have for ordering is to grab a seat at a table and scan the QR code so that you can order online. Once you place your order they will bring it out to you and it's usually pretty quick! I can't say I have a favorite flavor since they are all equally good, but honestly, I can't avoid ordering a dreamsicle, so maybe that is my favorite? However, they have fall flavors out now so it's time to switch to the fall flavors and enjoy s'mores or the apple cider mimosa or the pumpkin spice Russian; the choices are endless and you can always order a flight to try 3 at a time. It was a chilly night but perfect by the fire pit and we could watch the Blues game on the big screen while we sampled amazing cocktails with a flight of 3. The garnishes on these cocktails are what sets Narwhal's apart. One of my favorites was the S'more's Martini which came with a perfectly roasted marshmallow. Stopped in for happy hour, what a great selection of frozen summery drinks! The staff is super friendly and they will let you sample the drinks to make sure you like what you are ordering ( you don't have to commit to a full drink and find out you hate it!) We had several as they had special pricing during happy hour YAAAH!!!! I tried the Banana Dave...WOW! Very flavorful and just yummy! Be careful though, they go down really easy!
