We thought this would be a typical bar food which it was to a point, but with just flavor combinations. Oh and the oreo donut..yum!! Plenty of alcohol choices. They even offered a kids menu. I don't get the hype. Food is good, but not great. Enjoyed it but not wowed. Happy with bartender recommendation for chipotle lime wings. Beer was cold. Bar service was great. Food service was super slow. When my wings finally came, the waitress was trying to convince me I ordered BBQ wings. Umm, no. You're mistaken. I took the bartender's recommendation, so I looked to him for backup. He said yeah it's in as chipotle lime. Waitress gave attitude. Waited again for wings. Worth the wait. Really good, but not impressive. Bartender who is taller, better looking version of Adam Levine was a bonus. With many other solidly rated eateries in area, not sure we will be back. Based on previous Yelp ratings, I decided to stop at Billy Jack's Wing & Draft Shack for lunch when I was spending the day in Harrisonburg. I sat at the bar and was waited on by a very friendly helpful barkeep. Based on her recommendation, I decided on a cheeseburger and asked if they still had crinkle-cut fries that I saw in a pic on Yelp. She said yes and that they were delicious. My food was delicious - one of the best burgers I've had, and those fries were outstanding. They came out hot and crispy and I couldn't resist eating all the fries first. Back in Harrisonburg and I decided to try this place again. The first time I got garlic parmesean sticky nuggs which were good but nothing special. The loaded fries were alright as well. However this time, I got the "book em dano" burger and it was spectacular! I'm really not a burger person at all, they're always too thick or dry or flavorless. This burger was PERFECT! It was juicy and absolutely filled with flavor. I don't even usually like bacon on burgers because of the textures together but it somehow worked perfectly. If you're craving a true flavorful burger I would highly recommend this place. They are the thicker type of beef patties, just in case that's not your thing, but I found it to be just right. Loved it! Walked in around 7pm on a Friday night and the place was hopping! That didn't stop the hostess from cheerfully greeting my daughter and me and seating us within 10 minutes. My daughter and I drove an hour to try something new. It was a beautiful drive and I'm glad we came here. The food was fantastic , the sticky nuggs were fantastic . My daughter didn't think she'd like it but she couldn't get enough. The restaurant decor is great, the place is loud and rowdy and organized chaos. The seating was on tall tables which may be a problem for some, my daughter was on crutches after a recent surgery and I explained this to the hostess and she made sure we had a table big enough to accommodate my daughters needs. Wow! We stopped here on our drive up interstate 81. It's probably a 5 to 10 minute drive off of 81 but it's worth it!! My boyfriend and I stayed in Harrisonburg before going to Shenandoah National Park and this bar hit the spot! They had a great cocktail menu with drinks priced at 5 dollars each. I had the vodka lemonade w/ club soda and my Bf got the Kentucky mule. We also tried the Fire + Ice, but the cinnamon flavor was a bit too strong for me. They had amazing food options and prices, but we only went for drinks. The music was an oldie but goodie vibe, the decor was clutters of signs + sayings + colors + pictures, the crowd was upbeat, and the service was fantastic. I would totally recommend coming here if you are looking for a fun night with amazing drinks. The crowd is definitely young because I'm pretty sure this is a college town, but not too too young or at least no one was acting crazy. My boyfriend and I are new to the Shanendoah area and just wanted to try something different. We ended up here on 8/17 and we're so glad we did! It was jam packed with people but we were still able to be sat immediately. There seemed to be only two waitresses running the floor, but ours was phenomenal. She was attentive and welcoming, even though I'm sure she had her hands full. I ordered the nachos and my boyfriend had the mix n match sliders, the 50/50 Grind and the Chuck Norris. The food came out surprisingly fast for the volume of people inside, and everything was hot and delicious. We had a few beers, a Modelo for $3 and a Bold Rock for $6. Right next to Jack Brown's Burger. Very similar setting as next door, but bigger. I went on a Saturday around 3 with my friends and it was very packed. We were seated right away so that was good. If you want a burger, you can get the regular size burger or 2 sliders for the same price. You can build your own burger. I got the Buckaroo and the Wagyu beef sliders. They were delicious. I like how all burgers come with a side of fries. I would like to come during the Happy hour and try some of the beer as well as get some nice deals. The service was kinda slow because there weren't that many servers for the amount of people in here. It took kinda forever to get our checks. I tried to go up and pay, but the worker said that your server has to bring a check. There are 4 TVs in here and the place is very heavily decorated with beer cans/bottles foreign currency, paintings and random objects. read more

Burgers and nugs are what I'd recommend for just about everyone. Just so you know, this place is pretty busy at lunch and dinner (when there's not a pandemic). I've only been there once without a wait time, and in my experience the wait is 20-30ish minutes. As far as accessibility goes, its not great.
