Wife and I stopped here on our way to the desert. At first I was not expecting much but was I due for a surprise. This place is absolutely amazing. Their pizzas are so fresh and flavors are out of this world. Wife and I decided to get the Dardie's veggie and when I order I forgot to mention I wanted their traditional sauce as that's what I'm used to. When we got the pizza I realized it didn't have their red sauce and instead had their garlic ranch sauce. I decided to give it a try and all I could say at the time was WOW! The pizza was unbelievably delicious. Obviously we had to come back the next time we were up there. An added bonus is their customer service. The staff is extremely respectful and available to help. We have pretty much written off pizza on our food list. Mr. B has recently concluded he has a definite wheat allergy. And I am trying to limit my carb intake, with wheat, corn, and potato at the top of the list. Pizza dough is one of those foods that cause my blood sugar to go through the roof. Still, when we discovered Billy Q had a gluten free pizza crust, we saw a glimmer of hope. Had to try. It turns out the gluten free crust is made from potato and rice flours. And it only comes in one size, small. And there is a small upcharge. Still, that is enough for two to splurge, but not excessively. Toppings, typical for us, consisted of pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushroom. And just on a whim because they had it, added some pastrami. My version of a "meat lovers". I was astonished. It was dense with good quality toppings, a respectable but not excessive amount of cheese, and a decent tasting sauce that was judiciously used, not too much. It was good. Actually, the toppings, taste-wise and quantity-wise, were stellar. Now that gluten free dough turned out to not be my thing. While it was relatively thin with a bit of a crunch on the bottom, I could take it or leave it. So I found satisfaction in scraping the meat and cheese off and just relishing that, while Mr. B ate his pizza slices in entirety. Suited us both just fine. Add to that a beautiful antipasto salad that was perfect in every way, even down to the herbal dressing, and we arrived at the conclusion this little pizza joint is pretty darn good. Glad we stopped. I will never look at Pizza the same way again. It's truly the best I've have so far. I bookmarked this place while staying the night in Palm desert. Had to see if it lived up to the 4 1/2 star hype. When entering, we were greeted very promptly. Hostess was very pleasant and cheery. It was only the 2 of us so it was hard to narrow down our choices. We settled for scooters jalepeno popper and GQ pastrami. Both were very delish and packed with so much flavor. The pastrami tasted exactly like a pastrami sandwich. The crust was nice and crispy, it was just perfect. Definitely worth a try. I'll be stopping in when I'm back in the area again. I also loved all the Chicago memorabilia!! read more

This place is awesome and stacks up to some of the best pizza joints I've been to. We ordered the Cristin's Pizza and it did not disappointed thin crust, light sauce, mozzarella, ground beef, tomatoes, avocado, cilantro and hot sauce. It was cooked perfectly, nice and crispy and the toppings were super fresh, nothing was overpowering and the creamy avocado and hot sauce definitely gave it a unique and delicious flavor profile! Way to go! Pretty diverse menu too --- pizza and pasta of course but also sandwiches, appetizers like nachos, chicken strips and even cheeseburgers. Had this pizza while I was in town visiting family. The pizza had a nice crisp on the bottom and my favorite pizza was the bbq chicken. The other pizzas were pretty good but nothing amazing. Would probably make another visit here to get that bbq chicken pizza. read more

We were traveling through the area and asked at our hotel for a recommendation for a good pizza. When we travel we like to try pizzas in different cities. Billy Q's came highly recommended. We walked over and discovered this was a busy place. Obviously very popular. My wife ordered a small GF chicken Cesar pizza and I ordered a small bbq chicken. These were absolutely two of the best pizzas we've eaten in a long time. I would highly recommend BillyQ's. The only downside was it was a little pricey. $40 for two small pizzas. Nice spot the employees are very sweet, I went after a two hour drive and was with my dog who was very thirsty and instead of just constantly brining water out for my dog they brought a pitcher of water for him and i thought that was the sweetest thing. I really like there pizza, it's thin crust and very crispy and tasty. All the employees were incredibly nice and very welcoming. They have a nice indoor seating area that is nice and cool or an outdoor patio with very nice padded seats and it's a large shaded area so it doesn't get too hot. We just had a margarita pizza xtra garlic, wings and two beers. They food was excellent, the wings were so good, fried lightly breaded chicken wings with the sauce on the side, so you put the sauce on like you want. This is absolutely an awesome hole in the wall, Mom and Pop pizza place. It's always packed every time we come in. As you walk through the door, you are immediately greeted by friendly staff and a wonderful smell of deliciousness filled your lungs. So far we've on had pizzas: BLT, Thai chicken and the Works on sourdough. Thai chicken was an explosion of flavor, it is soo good you can't help but licking your fingers. BLT was equally memorable! A medium pizza is enough for 3 people and some leftovers. They also have pasta dishes, salad and sandwich on the menu. We will definitely be back to try other dishes. Strongly recommend! read more

Placed an order for pickup - the Mac n cheese pizza and BOY it did NOT disappoint! Pickup was quick and easy but even if we had to wait WE WOULD HAVE! This handmade, tasty and unique pizza and as as delicious as it is pretty to look at! The crust is perfect...light, thin and crispy but buttery. Melts in your mouth. We tried take out, medium the works pizza and a personal Cristins. They were delicious! The personal size is perfect serving for one person and a great way to try a pizza a little out of the ordinary. We did the regular crust which was thin with a nice crispy crust. This is the pizza place to go to! We had a large party of 14 people with a wide variety of age ranges. They had something on the menu for everyone. Caleb is awesome! He organized and orchestrated everything to have all of the pizzas, burgers, sandwiches and Mac cheese out perfectly. Brian was the man behind the scenes who came out to ask what we thought of everything.
