If you come here on a Friday, you will have to wait because it's not a big place. They have burgers, pasta and pizza on their menu. Big screen TV to watch sports and nice cold beers. It was a hot lazy day and we were not in the mood to go out to eat so we called an order in. We wanted something good to eat....something Italian. Found these guys on Yelp. Looked up their menu and found some delicious treats we wanted. I ordered a medium thin crust cheese pizza, a side order of their potato salad, a Greek salad, and my partner had some of their hot wings. The cheese pizza-- Delicious, the Greek salad was good, and their potato salad was ok. My partner enjoyed his hot wings. I think next time we will dine in to see how we like the places look. My husband and I went for the first time for lunch, we waited 45 minutes before our food was ready. We got a pizza, chicken strips and a club sandwich. The pizza was delicious and the sandwich was also very good. The strips were ok, but not bad. After trying the food, although the wait was long, I ordered lunch for my work team, the food was good and I wasn't disappointed. This is a busy location so I advise anyone ordering over the phone or showing up, give your self enough time and be ok with waiting. I'd give them a 5 star Except both times was a wait. Then pizza came into my mind and then I stumbled upon this place. It had good reviews and had gluten-free pie so I though why not. I ordered a gluten free pie French fries a half meat lover and Mac and cheese and a Greek salad. OMG everything was amazing. The crust was a medium crust total Goldilocks just right the Mac and cheese was pulled high and the meat on the other side was plentiful. The Greek salad was amazing. Best pizza in the valley, and maybe California! It's been a long time since I've gotten a pizza covered in cheese, baked to a golden crust on top of thick sliced toppings. The pepperoni slices are thick enough to taste. The sausage pieces are also large a flavorful. I ordered a small instead of the personal size because the personal looked too small, but I ended taking half of it home. Win win! I happened on this place just out of chance. Working in the local area I've been going to that clown for burgers, not no more. The service was friendly even with a full house. The numerous t.v.s all on sports makes the atmosphere. Food was absolutely outstanding and so delicious!!! We ordered the shareable meats plate and were so full and satisfied after! Alas, we'd resigned ourselves that mediocre pizza was probably the best we could ever hope for. Boy, was I wrong!! Pizza was not only excellent, it was hands down the best pizza we've had in years. We ordered the Works- the crust was perfectly thin/crisp, the toppings were unbelievably generous plus the extra bonus of very friendly/welcoming staff. Absolutely delicious!!!! One of my favorite pizzas in the desert, service is okay but they're always busy when I order from them.

We recently visited Palm Desert with two 11 yr olds and decided to get pizza for dinner. We chose Billy Q's based on the great Yelp reviews. We were excited to discover they did personal sized pizzas so we ordered 4 of them, one for each kid and one for the wife and I. Our mistake was (I guess) that I perused the awesome list of available toppings and thought I was at a Blaze or Pizza Rev type place and got a bunch of toppings on each of these very small personal pizzas. When I went to pick them up the cashier said "That will be $62". I said, that's got to be a mistake, we just got 4 personal sized pizzas. He proceeded to show me the itemized receipt and it was not a mistake. $62!! More than $15 per pizza and they were TINY. I will say we each inhaled our pizzas even the kids. They were small, but they were good. I had like 8 toppings on mine, and didn't even notice a few of them since the pizza was so small. Anyway, lesson learned. Dominos and Papa John's are inferior for sure, but I could have fed 4 of us for $12 probably. read more

This is the 1st time I had an opportunity to order a pick up pizza from a Billy Q's on Cook and Gerald Ford. It was recommended to me by another New Yorker who thought it was one of the best replications of the NY slice like we would get at Original Ray's. I have to say that when I picked up the Box it felt very heavy. I wasn't sure if it was the same pizza that I had ordered however when I opened the box and looked in, it appeared to be the same pizza I asked for, however it was so laden with cheese that it felt as if it was twice the weight of a normal thin crust (pie) pizza. I thought the crust was soft but too soft (soggy) and had too much oil on the bottom. The cheese was slightly burnt and so thick you couldn't even see the sauce. The taste was average once you removed some of the cheese. Billy Q's is not what I was hoping for, but then again this is just my "opinion". read more

We had a small pizza. Everyone was very nice. The pizza was very salty. My pizza was cold by the time I got home. Little to far to drive.

We ordered two personal pizzas for takeout. It says here on Yelp they offer delivery, but they do not deliver - would have preferred delivery, but we live close enough. I picked up our two pies at the counter. Have to say, I was shocked to see how tiny they were. We both finished ours and said, "that was barely enough." Tasted good, I thought the crust was very good, particularly so since I prefer thin crust. However ... the great crust was quite well done, almost burned, but somehow the inside toppings of both our pies were very cold. Like out of the freezer cold. I would guess the oven was set too high, burning the crust but not allowing enough time for ingredients to come up to temperature. And while we do live close, it's too far to drive back again to have our food warmed. Good, but not great. read more

Been coming here for a couple of years now if you walk in and see the operation in process you'll be impressed in the end. Product is phenomenal. No deliveries understandable are usually call in and pick up. This is where my problem begins. Not always spot on with the way I like my pizza but eventually adjustments are made and I'm a happy camper. read more

In general, the pizza is good. But there are compromises. During peak hours, the place is madness. And the level of service suffers. Also, with take-out orders, the person on the phone doesn't confirm which store location you prefer. (There are two Billy Q's). And you can easily go to the wrong location. I'm from out of town and was in the mood for a Chicken Parmesan sandwich. I found this place and am glad I did. I ordered the food to go and the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich was delicious. The bread it came on was also really good. I also ordered their chicken wings and they were good as well. They fry their wings, which I'm not usually a fan of but they were pretty good as well. Pretty good! We ordered mozzarella sticks, two personal pizzas (one plain cheese and one Dardie's veggie), spaghetti and meatballs and spaghetti with pesto. The prices seemed reasonable. Loved the mozzarella sticks. They are definitely homemade and not the frozen ones most places serve. The standard pizza crust was not great, even my 8 year old said it tasted funny, I would try their cauliflower or sourdough crust instead. The toppings on the Dardie's veggie pizza were piled impressively high with big yummy chunks of artichoke. The pasta portions were generous and came with cheesy garlic bread. Pesto looked creamy, which wasn't expected but my daughter said it was good. The meatballs were slightly salty but were homemade and still very good. All in all we would definitely return. read more

Literally, we always make a Pit stop here, always a must.. the drive from Anaheim (Orange County) is absolutely well worth it! Something about their pizza, it just sits well, which doesn't make you feel bloated or Fat. Their ingredients and Dough taste so fresh. This is also coming from a super Picky girl who Hates Pizza Hut, Papa John's, etc...
