Decided to take an overnight Joshua Trip trip and checked out the Living Desert Zoo for NYE. By the time we were done the family was hungry and we came across Billy Q's. Unfortunately we made it too close to closing time. But the the staff member who got to us first said they'll go ahead and work on a takeout order for us, so I really appreciated that since they could have just sent us on our way, which would be understandable. Placed an order for their Mac N Cheese pizza and Thai Chicken, which they got done quick. Service alone was 5 stars, but both pizzas were great as well.....so definitely 5 stars on the food dept too. read more

The food is exceptional. They don't skimp on the quality or the quantity of their ingredients. We had a medium The Works pizza, house salad, a meatball sandwich and fries for the three of us. We ate till we were full and we still had half a meatball sandwich and 4 slices of pizza to take home. The service is very friendly and quick. We decided on this place because our friend's wedding got cancelled at the last minute due to unfortunate weather but we all made it work! We had a party of 8 to enjoy dinner with and it is definitely a tiny hole in the wall! Thankfully the staff were very friendly along with their customers. An elderly couple gave up their huge table to seat us and moved over to a smaller table. Super sweet of them and although it was still a very squishy table to seat all of us, we enjoyed it and had a great time. From the looks of this place, it's definitely been run down, if you look at the security camera up on their ceiling, it's completely covered in funk and basically black from all the dirt. But boy was their food absolutely delicious! I had to ask all 3 servers for a glass of coca-cola unfortunately. They were definitely busy but also some big baseball games were on the tv that might've also caused some distraction. Luckily the last guy remembered my drink very late but all good and they didn't charge us for it. We got a bunch of pizza and cheesy bread to share. The Mac n cheese one was ok, not really my thing but everyone else enjoyed it! I really liked their cheesy bread and basically filled up on that. I didn't get to finish my four cheese ravioli with pesto because of that but it was very good from what we got to try! Service was great, they were busy with orders to go and people seated in and outside. They managed it well and were getting good out quickly all while keeping drinks topped off. Dining area was kept clean and cool which was a nice break from the heat. We ordered a Thai, works and cheese pizzas. Yes it was absolutely very small portion, it was called a personal size pizza, basically it's the size of 1 good slice. 2. The sauce is delicious, that's what makes this pizza so good! And thin crust, loved that. 3. Mushrooms were the tiniest pieces I've ever seen on a pizza, so don't expect a lot of any toppings. 4. We played pickleball at nearby Freedom Park, and we were hungry afterwards. Billy Q's has pizza, salad, tacos & sandwiches, and it was near the airbnb we rented. We ordered a medium build your own pizza w/ three toppings (~$20), and a Greek salad ($14.99). The Greek salad had a ton of toppings, and all the produce was fresh. In addition, the portion was large enough for four. Likewise the pizza had a ton of toppings and was more than enough for two (the other two guys ordered their own pizza). The crust was nice and thin so you did not get full on crust. The four of us both had leftovers. Regarding the ambiance, they have tight indoor seating, and outdoor seating is shared (but sectioned off) w/ other restaurants. It was a nice day so we sat outside. Right off the bat the staff was truly personable. Food was fast and hot! A great place for a casual dining experience with friends or family. We started our dinner with the appetizer garlic cheese bread . The portion was decent for the price and the taste had a mild garlic flavor. The sauce was in abundance, so good if large group is huge sauce fans. We also got the Macaroni pizza which was a very interesting concept. Lastly we got the "works" pizza. This ZA is loaded AF!!!
