I loved that HK bistro opened up here! It's one of the better options at the food hall and probably my first choice, to be honest. Loved their shumai, serving sizes were huge and so worth it. We really enjoyed what we ordered! Pro tip: if there's a line, scan their QR code to order online so you can pick up at the counter instead! They are so quick to prepare your food.

Out of the food we got, that chashu was so good! Duck was not bad for it being at one of these quick eats place! Wontons were alright - partner really liked the spicy numbing sauce with it. Pork bun was also just alright. Ordered at the kiosk, and service was quick.

Know where you're at (the base of the fricki'n Ritz Carlton) before lashing out against the high prices. That said, we were moderately satisfied with this food venue. The crispy shrimp rolls is one I haven't seen too often, real good. A little less pleased with the Cucumber Salad as there's too much Wood Ear mushroom. The Char Siu was decent. Touch screen ordering, but no hand sanitizer, gross! Service was friendly.

I've been here a few times and have been pleasantly impressed with the quality of their food. I came here today after craving their shumai, and it does not disappoint! Really meaty and rich! The noodles I tried for the first time today since I wanted a bit more food. Noodles were well-cooked. I thought it was just a big salty. Otherwise, I felt pretty satisfied with my meal.

Stopped in for a quick bite and had their Xiao long bao, pork buns, skewers, and cheongfun. Absolutely delicious, everything was super flavorful and savory and it was great to get to experience the new food hall and check out all of the different options in the space. We didn't have enough rice noodle to meat balance in our cheongfun and they very kindly gave us some extra, amazing service and will definitely be back!

Part to the Flock food hall, this spot is one of the more popular one in the market. All the food was made fresh. Their Shumais were some of the biggest and juiciest I've had! Very tasty. The Half & Half Char Siu and Roasted Duck Plate was a great choice to same their different meats. Both were super flavorful and well-cooked. Definitely a great choice for food!

Located in the Flock food court. Ordered the steamed BBQ buns & chicken/duck rice and broccoli plate. They were all average. The plate could use a little more flavoring. Would probably try something else next time.

Their location in block it's pretty convenient to be able to try different types of food all at once. I tried their dumplings, which were pretty good. I would get them again if I was coming back to flock. They could've used a side of dipping sauce though.

They have the duck hanging outside the glass. Like traditional places. Food was great. The Shuai is a really big size. Bigger than I expect for dim sum. The spicy cucumber was great. The waygu dish was so so. I would not order again. But I would definitely eat some of the other food there.

Probably the best Cantonese-style food I've had in Portland. The wok hei on the fried noodles was spot on.

Dimsum breakfast in Portland, Oregon…read more.. After 8am mass, we drove to Excellent Cuisine because it was nearby and because I saw a photo of the piggy buns. However, we were too full to order piggy buns and we didn't see them on the rolling wagons. Thinking that it would be crowded, we arrived before opening time and saw that there were about six people waiting to get in. LOL! We were guaranteed a first round seat! Service was efficient since we sat near the kitchen - so we could see what's coming out fresh and hot! I asked if there were taro puffs (my niece's favorite) and hom sui gok (my dad's favorite). These fried items would be coming on the next wagon, but the server went and got them for us! Wow! Thanks! We got shrimp and chive dumplings and plain shrimp dumplings from this stemed items wagon. Of course, we had to have custard tarts and the cute piggy and ducky-shaped puddings! The coconut and mango flavors were subtle. We liked the coconut more, even though the ducky wiggled more! This was a really fun and tasty meal! We wouldn't mind returning! We appreciated the free shared parking, convenient restroom, and beautiful, clean environment!

We ordered a variety of dishes including Cantonese beef chow fun, shrimp green beans, fish maw soup, and some stewed beef. The beef chow fun was a bit too dry in my option, there are definitely better options in Portland for this dish. However, the green beans were stir fried perfectly and were super crispy. I absolutely love a good fish maw soup, and this one was generous in the ingredients! The medium was more than enough for multiple bowls for the three of us. Finally, my favorite, the stewed beef, or ngau zap. It came still bubbling and hot, but the flavors hit the spot. The beef was tender and it paired really well with rice. Can't say much about their dim sum, since it has been quite a while since I've had it, but I'll be back soon to try it!

The place was full of hungry locals and tourists but was uncustomarily quiet and calm. From the hostess that seated us, to the waitress and servers, all staff and management were extremely polite, positive and helpful. We were starving. So we ordered 3 entrees and side of Dry-fried String beans. The Green Beans were cooked perfectly and the serving size was generous! One of our new favorites is the Mongolian Chicken. Is not a spicy Chinese food dish but the moist chicken and seasonings produced a yummy & comfort food level dish! As usual, the lightly battered & deveined Butterfly prepared Salt & Pepper Shrimp was mouthwatering, with every bite. As the last entree to be served. The ten Chicken & Vegetable Dumplings were fresh and flavorful. Needless to say, with only 2 patrons eating lunch with 3 heaping entrees plus Dry-fried String beans and white rice - we took home 2 more meals worth of Chinese food leftovers. Definitely dine in at this Old Town location or order To Go!
