Roast Duck/Chashu Combo Rice Bowl, Shrimpy Wonton Soup(6 each), pork bun

Out of the food we got, that chashu was so good! Duck was not bad for it being at one of these quick eats place! Wontons were alright - partner really liked the spicy numbing sauce with it. Pork bun was also just alright. Ordered at the kiosk, and service was quick.

I loved that HK bistro opened up here! It's one of the better options at the food hall and probably my first choice, to be honest. Loved their shumai, serving sizes were huge and so worth it. We really enjoyed what we ordered! Pro tip: if there's a line, scan their QR code to order online so you can pick up at the counter instead! They are so quick to prepare your food.

Know where you're at (the base of the fricki'n Ritz Carlton) before lashing out against the high prices. That said, we were moderately satisfied with this food venue. The crispy shrimp rolls is one I haven't seen too often, real good. A little less pleased with the Cucumber Salad as there's too much Wood Ear mushroom. The Char Siu was decent. Touch screen ordering, but no hand sanitizer, gross! Service was friendly.

I've been here a few times and have been pleasantly impressed with the quality of their food. I came here today after craving their shumai, and it does not disappoint! Really meaty and rich! The noodles I tried for the first time today since I wanted a bit more food. Noodles were well-cooked. I thought it was just a big salty. Otherwise, I felt pretty satisfied with my meal.

Xiao long bao, pork buns, skewers, and cheongfun.

Stopped in for a quick bite and had their Xiao long bao, pork buns, skewers, and cheongfun. Absolutely delicious, everything was super flavorful and savory and it was great to get to experience the new food hall and check out all of the different options in the space. We didn't have enough rice noodle to meat balance in our cheongfun and they very kindly gave us some extra, amazing service and will definitely be back!

Part to the Flock food hall, this spot is one of the more popular one in the market. All the food was made fresh. Their Shumais were some of the biggest and juiciest I've had! Very tasty. The Half & Half Char Siu and Roasted Duck Plate was a great choice to same their different meats. Both were super flavorful and well-cooked. Definitely a great choice for food!

You have a choice of either completely bland and flavorless or ridiculously salty. And forget about the boba drinks. Would not recommend!

The waitress took us to a table with no place setting and did not ask if we wanted tea. She never came back. Staff with the cart comes over and just rattling off names of items on her cart. My cousin inquired about an item, she did not respond and looked at her funny. I order item my cousin wanted. Staff just mumbled and put dim sum on table. It's like they just want to unload their cart. She left and another staff came by. Before she starts. I said I cannot eat without utensils, plates, napkins and what about tea? She runs to get these items. I inquired about the tea, what is it? She goes it's red tea it's the only one they serve. By the time we finished, we asked to tally the bill. On staff member says go to the front and pay bill and get containers. I went up to get containers no one in front. Everyone busy setting up for 3PM. I flagged someone. She goes take whatever you need. There were stacked containers and cartons. Family went to pay bill and waited 10 minutes for someone to come to counter. Service is poor here. Minimal the very least. No one checks to see if you want anything. Would I come back. Probably not. As for the food, yes it's dim sum but nothing to rave about. The Shu Mai do not have shrimp. The bean curd wrapped in meat and veggies tasted a little off.

The fried rice's flavor was pretty muted..I prefer a little saltiness in my fried rice and it honestly had barely any salt? It tasted like plain rice with a little soy sauce and maybe oil flavor? Just not very aromantic in general.. I disliked the Mandarin Crispy Chicken the most as I had an issue with the breading. It was very thick and each bite felt more breading than chicken..The flavor of the sauce was good but with how thick the breading was, the inside of the chicken had no flavor at all once I bit in.. Perhaps we ordered the wrong items, but I don't think I'll be back to try any others at least for now. It was a Friday night so it was busy but I'll say service was good and we had a minimal wait time!

When your favorite Dim Sum places in Portland aren't serving, remember Pure Spice has a permanent Dim Sum menu they serve during all open hours. You'll find a lot of your favorites there. Visitors will find a daily specials board with listings written in Mandarin! This restaurant definitely has the "if you're in the know, you're in the know" kind of vibe.
