flavorful chicken momos. unfortunately they ran out of lamb so i'll have to revisit. there's a few tables available to eat in, cashier answered my questions and made recommendations.

Wow I love this place! I been chasing their food trucks in the past, but glad I finally get the chance to actually check out their stable restaurant and not a truck. It looks like this their main location with sit down dining and you can see the ladies making the scrumptious dumplings on the tray. I bought three Chicken MoMo which is Nepalese Ground chicken Dumpling serviced with spicy tomato cilantro sauce. plates to go to let my family try it. It was soft, tender very similar to the Chinese dumpling which I enjoyed. Yummy in my tummy! The most popular street food in Nepal is the momo where each dumplings are stuffed with either Lamb, Turkey or Tofu and Vegetables and served with a tangy roasted tomato and cilantro sauce. I also tried the Gurkha Chicken which was a bit spicy that is made of Boneless chicken thigh stewed in yogurt, tomatoes, and our Bini's Kitchen house spice blend. You definitely needed rice to go with this dish. Great flavoring. I would love to come back here and try more items, and I am glad I took a day off work to make a side trip here. The corridor from 6th and Market is a bit sketchy, just walk quickly. People mostly keep to themselves.

I was running errands in the area and was absolutely famished--pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem. I enjoyed their momos and the curry sauce--I think the combo plate is the way to go in order to fill up. I got the Gurkha Chicken, which came with plenty of meat--I ended up with enough for leftovers for the next day's lunch. It reheats well! I do have to note though that the surrounding area is kinda sketch, so just walk fast + keep your eyes & ears open.

All gone. In less than 5 minutes.

I'm obsessed with the vegan moms from Bini's Kitchen. I've ordered from them on Grubhub before, and I've also grabbed food straight from their truck in the Ferry building. Everything is so tasty and perfect for takeout. It's definitely one of my top spots for amazing vegan eats in SF!

My first time having Bini's. Stopped by the Bini's stand at OutsideLands. I ordered the turkey momo combo plate with chicken curry. The momos were so yummy and the chicken curry was flavorful. My favorite dish from OSL!

Honestly Bini's Kitchen deserves a special shout out for the lamb momos they serve. Hands down one of the best momos I have had in my life, trust me I have had plenty and the moms here are a star dish. I first found them when I was exploring the farmers market around the ferry building and I fell in love with these momos. The value for money is great (8 pieces for 10$) and they come with a tomato sauce at the top. It's so tasty that it's actually finger licking good. I have tried the turkey momos also and they are also quite legit. The lamb momos are the show stoppers definitely and I almost go once a month to the farmers market for them. Keep up the great quality. Would recommend to everyone who loves momos. Trust me you will really enjoy having the food from here. I don't have a clear picture because whenever I buy them I instantly start eating. Most delicious and scrumptious momos I have had.

To- go Chicken combo plate, stew was in separate container.

I've been getting Bini's chicken combo plate since 2017 and it's consistently been so good. I love this spot!

This place looks so cool! Is the food halal?

The vegetarian options are delicious, and I always order the veggie momos (even as an omnivore)! I'll ask if the food is Halal next time I'm in :)!

They were really helpful in pointing out some of the popular dishes and assisting in my order. I chose medium spicy for my first time and I'm glad they asked what spice level. Very nice flavor over all and the samosas were loaded! The goat curry was a huge portion size and easily sharable. It's nice that the dish comes with steamed rice. Shit on the sidewalk, which I have heard but figured people were just being judgemental, we ran into shit. Ran into street with a church, both sides were large groups of people unhoused, a couple were showing signs of Fentanyl use, hunched over an inable to walk. It was a lot. A man in front of the church was bent over, took off his pants and no underwear on. I was afraid he was going to shit. We ran the fuck out of there. Then down Market Street, at least 20 police cars drove faster than I have ever seen, where they must have turned all of those lights green and all others red so they could race to their destination. It was scary, i was worried because the Civic Center is nearby and we all know what people are capable of. Anyways...turned around to go home, starving, we saw an indoor mall with signs displaying Himalayan food! Yeah, so I went to wash my hands, and there was a shit trail on the floor from a toilet to a pile in the middle of the floor. The Mens restroom had a security guard, i asked, he said some crazy fight was going on. I relayed the information about the poop to pass along to janitorial services. Go to MoMa, avoid shithole area apparently called "Tenderloin." Yeah, tourist here, found this place, rated well, and it was a shit-sanwhich to get to. Maybe an Uber, if they will drive there! We had to wait a while before the food started to arrive, which was not unexpected considering the size of our group and the amount of food that we ordered. I especially liked the chicken biryani and chicken chow mein. Some of the other dishes like the egg fried rice weren't quite to my liking, but that's why it was nice to have a good variety of dishes. Regardless, Base Camp was awesome and a solid restaurant in the Mission. My friend and I arrived impromptu on a Monday night, surprised to see a crowded house; luckily, we snagged a table in the corner. We ordered the tandoori octopus, pork belly bhutwa, and goat curry which were all good. The tandoori octopus was fork tender and delicately spiced. The pork belly had vaguely Indian and vaguely Chinese flavor profiles, without lending itself to either side of the fulcrum. Kinda masala mixed with a bit of mala, which makes sense given Nepal's location. The goat curry was the only dish, albeit good, that didn't quite stand out for me. Service is also incredible. That said, I also tried one of the curry dishes my first time, and was thoroughly unimpressed. It was bland and I wish it had more spice and texture.
