Had an appointment and walked into an empty waiting room. One staff member went on a bathroom break, another said "hold on," and the third, a man, never said a word. I waited 30 minutes, and someone who came in after me skipped ahead to the man, who never called "next." Place is horrible! No one works, you have nurses that walk around like they are not suppose to be doing anything. You have over 25 people waiting in the Lobby to be screened while people in the back are on the computer or standing around talking. This place has became a joke vs helping save lives. People are coming to donate but leaving because the wait time is crazy, there is not purpose in setting an appointment if we still have to wait 4 hours just to be screened not even donating. My experience there was unprofessional first we're gonna start off with the walk-in security guard on the phone looking at social media and on a personal call had an attitude and then they tell you to sit there and wait as a new donor after waiting 20 minutes one of the staff members asked you for your documentation, which is your ID in your social. My name was perfectly fine on both documents, but because one additional middle name was on my ID she gave me a hard time and told me she had to go ahead and call it in which I authorized her to do took her about 30 minutes to do that after another person went up to her and asked her about his appointment she went ahead and helped him because he was Latin and she was too while making me wait to get identified for both documents knowing that I'm a new donor and I've already been sitting there for an hour waiting already then comes back and says everything is fine. All I said yes of course it's fine. I know it was going to be fine. Then the other staff member said you know what you are not allowed to donate today just because I said that. I have names and I have videos and pictures of the following experience. Very unprofessional they had attitudes so it wasn't very comfortable to go donate plasma there. I made my last ATTEMPT at donating here! I would not recommend coming here to donate and I've donated here over 85 times since 2020. They've had a high turnover of staff, the facility is not maintained and as clean as it once was, they lowered return donor compensation and have lost total control as to how track donors who have made appointments, as opposed to how they accept walk-ins. The staff doesn't seem to care. Maybe because they're paid the same hourly wage regardless of what occurs at their place of business. I tried talking with the new supervisor, who was rude and had no interest in listening to me. I don't recall her name, but she was in her early 50's with blonde hair. She told me they've been trying to hire new staff, but applicants aren't even showing for their scheduled interview times. Is this something she should've told me? The appointment system is the worst I've seen.... You can expect to be on time, and not get vitals taken for over an hour due to lack of staff, and snail-like production of the ones their. If that's not problem enough, the staff are enthusiastic about turning members away for being late to appointments that aren't conducted timely anyway, just so they can get off work quicker.... From a sales management perspective, I'd of fired the entire staff, and improved production, and customer appreciation in as short as one week. read more

You are too understaffed to ever answer your phones, even when it's slow and in spite of what it says on your check-in kiosk. You have been lowering your payments by $20 per month for over a year and the most noticeable last straw is shortening the hours to closing at 6:00 instead of 7:00 which it impossible to get there after work. I came here twice and never going back. the security guard just states at you when you ask a question. no one is ever at the reception and they made up some "new rule" about my veins not being good (I'm a frequent donor at a differ facility, I just learned about this company's frequent donor bonuses and their donor fees pay a little more than the place I usually donate) but feom the moment I arrived I didn't feel welcome at all. I'm not sure the purpose of requiring donors to make an appointment when they have such incredibly long wait times. The thing that really doesn't make sense is if a donor is late by 15 min or more, they make you reschedule. This place is slower than the DMV despite how few donors they have. Hemarus is the only other donation center that takes this long. The other two centers are ran much more efficiently. When I first came to donate, I told them I was taking a medication that was not on their list. They made a huge deal of it and required me to get a doctor's note which was not easy considering most doctors don't want to sign anything these days and the fact that when I "see" my doctor, it's over the phone. It didn't matter that I donate at other centers. They have their own policies and quite frankly Grifol's policies don't even make sense. The phlebotomists and staff are very nice. However, the week of Christmas 2022, they lowered the pay almost to half as much. How grinchy and this demonstrates how little they care for their donors. I won't be back anytime soon. I really like the staff at the front desk and also the ones who check your vitals, but all the phlebotomist that work there except for the Cuban older lady with the red hair SUCK!! My girlfriend who has deep rolling vain got stuck by someone with no experience and bruised the hell out of my girlfriend. Male cuban nurse thinks he's House diagnosing imaginary symptoms to the doctor so I couldn't donate - first he tried to tell the nurse my veins were no good until she proved him wrong and then he told the on site doctor some nonsense so I would have to provide a doctors note after waiting an hour and a half-he wasn't even the one processing me he just inserted himself!!! Final update; we finally spoke to a manager Spanish male, we couldn't understand how if my husband was screened first ? I was called before and there were 4 people in front of him. He explained he may have answered questions wrong we had to correct but if that is the case they would have called him to a room (I've accident done that before) and he said no not always sometimes we just change your answer for you. I was dumbfounded ! How can they change the answers you entered WITHOUT your consent. This place is a disaster. I will get my last donation this week and never come again. Even the security card left the post, put the rug to keep the door open and was no where to be found tonight. Someone finally got back with me and I was able to get an appointment but holy cow they treat people bad here. I've never been to a donation place with such horrible i don't care attitude or I don't know anything. They put people in front of you that came in an hour later. When you ask a question they say I don't know, and when you ask well who knows they walk away. I experienced this with two employees on the donation floor.It's like everyone hates working here and just doesn't care. I haven't donated plasma at Biotest for over two weeks, and yet I am being barred from this facility because they deemed me unfit. Look elsewhere for good service and fair service. I had an appointment on Sunday 6/23 at 9:30am. As mentioned in the email, I arrived 15 minutes prior. When I arrived, the entire waiting room was full. I walked up to the reception desk to sign in but no one was there. I waited there until my actual appointment time, 9:30am, and was still not greeted by anyone. This place has gotten really bad. I used to be able to get in-and-out within an hour and a 1/2 and now it takes 3 to 4 plus hours each time. I've left there as late as just after 9pm. I have a 45 minute drive to get home and I wake up at 4:30 a.m. to get up for work. I'm a long time donator I even won awards for 100 plus donations for the year. They have great promotions for new donors however they never have promotions for longtime donators. The worst part is seeing someone that has come in after me go in donate and leave before I actually go in and be seated. I've been told it's because they are on the anti d program. But I still feel that it's unfair! The amount of negative reviews should tell you what to expect! Apparently not all businesses operate by logic. I was on the assumption that donating plasma is to help people in need of it. So, what's the blatant disrespect for? We are not talked to like adults. I have never seen such a lazy bunch. Have you every seen an employee literally drag their feet. Absolutely appalling. Apparently I have arrived too early for my appointment. There is no one in front of me. No one in line but yet I have to wait. The employees are socializing walking around doing nothing. How many bathroom breaks does someone need with in 20 minutes. The phone is ringing but not being answered. It's a known issue the employee tells me as she smiles. They have removed the chairs so we have to stand before checking our health. 40 minutes we stand on average. I often find it interesting when an individual knows you need the money so you will accept the psychological abuse given. Why do I have to see someone cry? Everyone hates this place but we need it. We all talk about the horrible atrocities as we wait. It helps to talk about it. They have removed more than 50% of the staff. Now it takes extra long. I only see 7 donors. I've been her 90 minutes so far. The music in here is so loud that you can't hear your name called. Then they cancel your appointment. Did I mention that they have an intercom system but not being used? I have an unusual name. They always laugh when it's called. If I have an appointment, why do new enrollees go ahead of me? One day there were 6 new enrollees. I was next in line but had to wait an additional 55 minutes while they were attended to first. Everything seems to work against you.
