Got this to go during the start of the cold storm coming in, super easy pickup at the window near Loro. If it was a nice day they have a great picnic area to eat at, but the weather wouldn't cooperate today, but the food did. The queen beak was awesome and I was really glad to get the sauce and honey on the side, as it kept it from being too messy and the chipotle mayo wasn't my favorite. The biscuits and gravy was creamy, thick and delicious... just needed a bit of hot sauce. Overall was great and I will be back for brunch again.

My fiancé and I ordered a chicken biscuit with the peppered honey sauce and biscuit and gravy with chicken sausage. It was so good! It was filling. It was a good size. I was able to eat some that morning and finish the rest for lunch. The service was great. One of the staff members came out to check on us and ensure that we had everything we needed. Everything was great. We sat outside and enjoyed the breeze. It was a great experience!

I discovered Bird Bird Biscuit during the pandemic and still love it here. I'm excited to see this local business grow from one to two and now three locations! I'm especially appreciative that it's down south closer to me. The owner himself gave me the pick up order my family placed. I know of him from his posts on instagram. Now on to what you came here for, the food! I have tried several of their delicious fried chicken and homemade biscuit sandwiches. My go to faithful is the Queen Beak with the chipotle mayo on the side. There is a reason they place napkins and wet wipes on the picnic tables because you will have sticky fingers. Not that I mind, I actually wish there was an option for extra spiced honey on my sandwich. This finger licking delicacy should be on regular rotation for your breakfast!

Bird Bird is still on point at their latest location next to Loro off South Lamar. Ordered the Queen Beak with sauce on the side. The biscuits by themselves are solid, but once you add fried chicken and hot honey, it becomes out of this world!

Ordered for pick up and had no problem parking. The bird bird bacon sandwich was a perfect combination. Biscuit was wonderful, buttery and flaky. Bacon was nice and crispy. Loved the sauce. Apricot sweet tea was refreshing, not too sweet.

The best chicken sandwich I've ever had! And I guess this location is new(?). The owner bought my lunch! Fabulous staff.

The firebird & Theodore without bbq sauce!! Dough doughs on the side w/ strawberry lemonade & apricot sweet tea!! Everything was delicious!

New location on south Lamar is awesome with patio under the trees! Food was delicious and the staff were super nice!

But I enjoy new experiences and menus with eclectic dishes. The menu had few choices for breakfast and I was unsure why it was suggested as a breakfast place. It's actually a good place to eat any time of day! The beautifully decorated patio provided the perfect welcome into their modestly decorated air conditioned restaurant and bar. When I say bar, it's more like a 1950s bar that you can sit at and have a meal at. Although drinks and meals were offered any time of day! The waitress was pleasant and helpful in suggesting add ons with my meal. But being a purist, I wanted to try it as intended. The food arrived in the normal amount of time. When I first saw my mozzarella omelette I was a little surprised! It didn't look anything like what it was described as! Oh well! I thought. Let's give it a try! My taste buds were happily amazed! Could this omelette smothered in mushroom gravy, green "pesto" and bread crumbs be the best omelette I've ever had?! The mushroom tomato gravy was so smooth! Along with the cilantro avocado topping. That tasted more like pesto, gave it the perfect zing! I had wished I the had ordered some toast to dip in the sauce. I could have done without the bread crumbs. But they were easily swept to the side. The amount of mozzarella cheese in this omelette led me to believe it was more of an omelette lasagna than a plain old omelette. This place is definitely a must if you are visiting Austin!

Ample amount of food and def had take away box. Everything was tasty and the buttermilk pancake was amazing with just syrup. Melissa was kind enough to provide little cups to take syrup home along with the tael away container. They had a daily special and a board above the kitchen with other items. We were both starving and this place is open 24/7. I drove by it for 20 years on the way to Avenue Barber Shop. I wanted shredded beef tacos but couldn't get them without cilantro so I chose shredded beef enchiladas (with an $8!) side of chips and salsa. My wife ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and home fries. She requested soft eggs, as she always does because too many places overcook them. The chips and salsa arrived. I was immediately disappointed. The menu said "we make our own chips." They were thick and yellow and appeared to be run-of-the-mill, out-of-a-bag chips. I prefer the thin white ones. I took one bite of salsa, and that was one bite too many. Cumin. I pushed it all aside. Cumin doesn't belong in salsa. (Sorry. I grew up in the Rio Grande Valley.) My enchiladas came with black beans, and there was cumin in them. Cumin is overused and abused in most restaurants. I couldn't eat them. The rice was good but the chipotle sauce on the enchiladas was not. I scraped most of the sauce off and ate one enchilada, mainly because I just needed something in my stomach. We were still 45 miles from home. I pushed my plate away. I also ordered coffee. One sip of that was all I could stand. Too weak for me. It gets worse, much worse. My wife's eggs were barely cooked. She asked the waiter for some cooked eggs. He took her plate and returned about four minutes later. The eggs were still not cooked. She tried another bite but couldn't eat them. Her bacon was tough as a boot and not chewable. The home fries were average, but by the time her plate arrived at our table for the second time, they were cold. I pulled my card out waiting for our excellent server to return. He asked how everything was (he had to notice two plates still covered with food) and we politely told him. I ate one enchilada and some rice. My wife had two bites of egg and two bites of potato. He apologized and handed me the check. $65. Nothing comped and nothing adjusted. A manager should've been summoned. How does a place like this have any customers? It was our first and last visit.

It's a small space, with only around eight tables and a tiny kitchen behind the counter. It's a bit hard to locate from outside. There's no big sign on the window indicating the restaurant's name, just a plastic A-frame sign outside the building's doors. When I got there, four of the eight tables were empty but the dirty dishes had not yet been cleared. It took close to 10 minutes for the tables to be bused. Because the kitchen is so small, I'd recommend going up to the counter to order as soon as you get there. I believe you can also place your order online using the QR code on the table, but I didn't try that method. I ordered the lox n found, a toasted croissant roll with smoked salmon, avocado, dill ricotta, arugula, onion, and capers.
