At first they offered to fix it for free since they owned up to it being their fault, but we had to go in not once, BUT TWO MORE TIMES FOR THEM TO FINALLY FIX THE ALIGNMENT, and even after all that they decided to charge for the third alignment. read more

Been taking all my vehicles to another shop for YEARS. Every time I go there I question my decisions. This shop is okay but the vehicle often has to go back for this or that. Recently, I took my older vehicle over there for A/C diagnosis. He told me it was fine. It wasn't. I suggested maybe the freon needed to be recharged as the vehicle is older and has never had the A/C serviced. Nope. Not possible. This week I took it to him for a misfire situation. The problem was easily repeatable and definitely seemed like spark. No, he told me it's the transmission. I took it to the transmission shop and they read the codes and told me it needed a tune up. I told them I was done with this other shop and recommend a place. They recommended Bird Family Auto. I went over and discussed my issues with Jessica. She listened, didn't make me feel dumb for my suggestions and told me they'd take care of it. A few days later I picked up the vehicle. It's running stronger than ever, no more misfires and the A/C is blowing ICE COLD after a recharge. She even called me and asked me if I was due for an oil change. I told her yes but I had oil and filter at home. She told me to bring it by and they did it at no extra charge. Even returned the unused oil. I will never go anywhere else. read more

I got suggested here from a friend after relentlessly trying to find an honest mechanic for my car. I needed to have my transmission oil changed; and it was a not only a great price, but good work. My car drives a lot smoother now because of it. I will come to them now for any future work needed. The shop is very clean, and has so much personality to it. You can tell the love put in with all the decor; and the people working there are very friendly. I also accidentally forgot my car there too by the time the shop closed (due to work) and they safely stored my car, and were so kind about it. I took a very badly, truck stored for over 5 years. The main issue was getting the truck to smog pass. Just about every sensor had to be replaced. Issues with the system computer to reset for smog test. Nothing really worked as both sides worked very hard for truck to pass smog with still several smog issues. More hands on sensor testing and was finally able to get the smog sensors/computer to reset and pass smog. No other car repair place would have spent the time and effort to help me get the truck to pass smog. Bird Aote kept us updated on every aspect, cost of the repairs. I have taken several other cars for repairs with everything being repaired on time estimated and cost updates. They now have a customer for life because of the top their work. read more

I was passing through Temecula after a concert and my car started shaking every time I would let off of the throttle. I ended up staying in a nearby hotel since it was so late and planned to take it to nearby shop in the morning. The next day I did just that and took it to Bird Family Tire & Auto. After calling ahead, Jim told me I can bring it by so they can check it out. I brought it in and they were busy so I was told it would take a little while to look at, which I was completely fine with. I went back to my hotel until checkout and proceeded to wait at a cafe with my wife afterwards. After a few hours, I heard from Jim that the problem was pretty bad and was told that they didn't work on my particular problem in house. However, he did know someone nearby who worked on these kinds of issues and called to ask him about it and passed along the info as well as the price range of the repair to me. Was I disappointed it would be so expensive? Yes. But I was very pleased with how Jim and Co. had handled the situation and was able to give me more of a picture of what to do rather than "here's the problem, we can't help you". I was not charged at all for them looking at the car and he gave me some advice on how to drive it home if I chose to not tow it home. He was an awesome and had genuine interest in our problems with the car. If I was from the area I would most definitely take any of my cars here to get checked or worked on. Overall amazing service! I just moved to Temecula and I am still learning about the area. I picked this shop based on the yelp reviews. Seemed positive so I called them up. I was ready to leave work in Moreno Valley and go home so I called them up and asked if they could get me in for an alignment this afternoon. He asked what kind of vehicle and I told him a toyota tundra. He quoted me a reasonable price and told me to come over. When I got there he started asking me normal shop questions, but when I told him I had a 2013 Toyota Tundra he stopped me and said that they cant align the 2013's. I didn't understand and asked for clarification. He said that he doesn't have the 2013 stuff for his equipment so he cant do a 2013. There are two problems here with this shop: First, if you can't do MY2013 vehicles, then why didn't you ask what year my truck was on the phone before you had me go out of my way and drive down there??? Second, it's August 2013! The MY2013 cars have been out for almost a year. Shouldn't your equipment be able to handle a MY2013??? Ok, I will refrain from speculating on possible scenarios here and just leave you with the facts and two of my opinions. I will be trying out a different local shop tomorrow.
