So cute. I'm new to the sour ale world. I was strictly a cider girl for a longtime until I saw a sour ale I wanted to try--and loved it! So, we decided to come the ales here. Plus, I wanted a Bubs. We got a flight of a bunch of fruity ales. And loved nearly all of them. I am officially an ale girl now too. And Bubs was really good too. I might be biased because of the cute can, but hey, it was still tasty. Nice place too.

ADB has completed a masterful stroke with its launch of the FWC26 event space downtown. The events are well organized, energized, and the low cost to enter with GA tickets and local beer is the best offer for new and old soccer fans. I was impressed with how "footbally" the space was, and the varied rooms for kids, soccer playing, and shopping merch was a great idea for their business. The food and drink operations are seemless, with quick speed and good guest experiences keeping the beer flowing at any point in the matches. My only feedback would be the restrooms and the capacity - the men's room only has one urinal and one toilet - which is quite horrendous during busy matches. Capacity could absolutely be increased on major match days. We had dozens of friends who wanted to come to the USA home opener, but, it was sold out - despite there being tons more standing room. Sad to see! Overall, we will be back.

I came for a pop up by Williams Good Sandwich / Eat Williams Food. They are a significant piece of fried chicken coated by Williams barbecue sauce. The chicken was perfectly tender and on a good bun. The chicken breading stays crunchy, even when coated by the glistening sauce, and there were some great spicy pickles to go with it. The Williams menu is in the photos. I had a chat with William. He pops up regularly around town as you can find on his socials. His bottled barbecue sauce is still a small business, so not yet in stores. He is a young food entrepreneur to keep an eye on and consider for your events or inviting to pop up near you.

When your order is ready, they use an overhead mic that is resemblance of something that you would hear over the loudspeaker at an 80s rollerskating rink. On site, there are bathrooms and areas for seating that include bar tops, high tops, and even a couple of comfy couches. There is an outdoor patio that is very inviting during the warmer months of the year. Ultimately, this is an incredibly impressive presentation of beverages. Perhaps even something that some people would consider a museum of sorts. Either way, there is definitely choices for everyone, and this is an establishment that can't be missed. Yes, you can visit the other location on Powell, but nothing will ever match up to the original location here in Multnomah village. An experience, a chance to shop and stockpile some beer, but truly a showcase of excellence in beer culture in the heart of our city.

The lone woman (who we later found out was the owner) who tended to the bar and cooked up the snacks in the back and cleaned the tables and did everything else was fantastic and she did it all with grace and a smile the whole time. We ordered a flight of all the beers on tap (15). All the beers are gluten free and we enjoyed the wide variety of styles.

The taproom itself is facing in the opposite direction of the bridge and into a closed in parking lot surrounded by buildings. Food is actually provided at a German restaurant across the parking lot from the taproom. Too far to order and walk to for us so we settled for a couple pints. The rice lager was most memorable with an excellent crispiness to taste.
