I remember always loving a trip to Build-A-Bear and how fun of an experience it was for me as a child. I even kept my very first bear and it is now in my daughter's room for her to play with as she grows up. We were planning to go to either the mall of Georgia or north point mall, but then we realized there was a brand new location just down the road from us at The Collection. So much more convenient! The staff was welcoming and the employee helping us was so sweet, but she was new and I guess misunderstood there was a special deal for the birthday bear and you can dress it up for $25 in a whole outfit. I even double checked with another employee about a tutu instead of pants and if that would be okay and she said absolutely. However, when we went to check out the employee working with us was struggling to ring up the deal and asked for help and when another employee came over, he was quick to say that the $25 deal is just for one piece of clothing and the bear must have a sound (which we opted out of). Anyways, she had already cut all the tags off of the clothes/accessories and I had my daughter's bear completely dressed in the whole outfit and crown and they were going to take it back and take the clothes off! I felt bad and didn't want to get anyone in trouble, but I had to speak up and tell them they needed to honor what two different employees had told us about the deal. Anyways, they ended up honoring it and figuring out the system and we left with $25 spent and a happy birthday girl with her new fuzzy bear that she helped put together.
