I have to revisit this place and go back to this review of mine but for the meantime, this place is SO cool and neat! I was able to experience this place for the very first time to celebrate my good friend's 30th birthday party that was held upstairs. The view from upstairs was fun to see. It also looks like there's a family area upstairs too which I'm assuming mainly for those who have kiddos and can have a more secluded, calming area to eat and whatnot. I didn't get to play any of the games and would love to go back for it next time. I did get to experience the food and let me tell you, they were all 10/10 in my opinion. I don't know what it's called but the taco one (shown in the picture) was definitely a hit for me! Gotta go back here with my husband or my girlfriends to have a good time, and chime back in to this review. read more

Birdeez opened recently and there's a lot of buzz. You can expect it to be busy if you go on a weekend. When I visited, I noticed a mix of families, youth, and "experienced" patrons. They have 3-9 hole mini golf courses and a bunch of dart boards. The kitchen serves a variety of bar foods. If you're looking for a snack, order the fries off the "kid's" menu. They are not your typical, basic kid fries. They are upscaled with garlic, herbs, and a creamy sauce drizzle. They have a small cocktail menu in addition to beer on tap. Never would have known this used to be the Antique Mall. The renovations made this space open, accommodating, and they maximized the use of the space. Staff were friendly, had great suggestions, and their cocktails are top notch. We had the bacon cheeseburger and hot chicken sandwich. Juiciest burger I've had in a while and the hot honey on the chicken sandwich was perfect! The indoor golf and darts makes this exactly the place that Reno has needed for family friendly activities year round. Our fries were a little under cooked and I wish the bar had purse hooks underneath it. We are looking forward to going back soon! read more

Great concept. The holes are super well done and really nice environment. The only downfall I felt that was that we got stuck behind a large group and we couldn't do anything but stand around because the game is all electronic. Whereas normal mini golf we would typically go around and go back to that one when we finished. This really would make me not want to go again. read more

Really cool interior with two levels. Top level has a bar/restaurant and two 9 hole mini golf courses. While downstairs has darts and another 9 hole golf course. Solid bar and food menu. Staff is friendly and helpful. They validate parking at the garage above or you can park at the city hall lot free on weekends. Only downside was the red course we were on kept having the score boards shut down so it was hard to keep score. You get a bracelet to swipe for each scoreboard at the course and the added element of the joker for one player at each course makes it more challenging. All in all another solid addition to downtown Reno for all ages entertainment. read more

This place is AMAZING! Made reservations for darts and mini golf for a Friday night. I'm so glad we did because the place was packed! Darts is so fun and has a screen and tons of games to choose from, it keeps score for you and everything. I could've played for hours. The mini golf courses are 9 holes and such fun gambling theme! You scan a bracelet at the start of each hole to allow you to virtually input scores, such a neat feature! There are 2 bars, lots of seating, and a full menu. Went in for a birthday party to dine and then play. Food was typical price for DT dining and had normal bar food. It was pretty slow since it was a Tuesday, but quickly got busier into the night. You can tell this is a go to date night spot. Parking is convenient since they vouch your parking ticket for the 1st street parking garage or you can try your luck on the street. It's about $15 per person for 8 holes. We didn't get to play since we had such a large party with kids in the mix. I would for sure come back (kid free) next time to enjoy all the games. read more

In town visiting family and needed a way to entertain some teens. This was perfect! We started with a round of golf. Super fun and unique mini golf with added challenges to amp it up and then some very competitive family darts. So many dart games to choose from. The vibe was great, the music kept everyone moving and the staff was phenomenal. Specifically Tahlia was the best. So friendly and competent. We had a little technical snafu and she was super quick to get it resolved. She is a gem! We will definitely be back!! read more

Complete 1. First, the beer options are uninspired for being in a city with so many local brews & then, like the first three I asked for were unavailable. The bar was so paaaaaainfully slow I wanted to jump behind & serve myself. And our server, while perfectly nice, made it clear she had no experience & had no idea what she was doing. Want a fun and different date night spot? Check this place out! We stopped by on a random Wednesday night so it wasn't busy at all. We were able to explore the whole establishment and talk to the workers about their favorite things. Immediately there's wow factor when you want through the doors. The lights, bar and indoor putting greet you up on arrival. There are 3 courses to choose from (9 holes for each course). It was sorta pricey from my recollection but the appeal is in the uniqueness of the courses. They're all Nevada themed which was a good touch and they're tricky courses too. They're not your typical mini golf course. Another touch of the mini golf is the use of wristbands that you scan to enter your scores. No need to carry a pen and paper to jot down your scores, it tallies and records it for you! Each course also have a stand to hold yo drink so you can take your shot without distractions. Oh! There's also a spin on the course where there's a joker which can mess with how you play. We loved that! We didn't get food but we got drinks. Theres two bars on each floor and are stocked with drafts and cocktails so we liked the selection. Due to being like the only ones there, the staff was cool with us walking around each course to decide which one we wanted to play. Thanks guys for being so cool! Oh and in between floors, there's a screen that plays cartoons which would be perfect for kids to hang out at. I had the honor of attending the soft opening of this fine establishment and boy was it already packed! I first decided to try out a simple classic; a dirty martini while my wife gave one of their in house drinks a try. Both were made absolutely perfect, and so I figured I'd give one of their custom cocktails a try. The Swedish Fish was delicious and deceptively lacking in any burn. They infuse their vodka with the fish themselves! Conrad was our bartender, and he was attentive and experienced. Very friendly fellow, and had a good time chatting with him. Afterwards, me and my group went downstairs to get some food and try out the dart lanes. I was pleasantly surprised by all the different mini games that were available to play, as well as the speed with which their food came to our little lane. I sadly did not get any pictures of the food, but it was absolutely immaculate. The wings were nice and crispy, the regular fries were flavorful perfection, and the garlic fries were some of the most garlicky I've ever had (a good thing! I hate bland garlic fries). Sadly, I can't speak to the mini golf as I did not get to play that evening. However, I know it was lovingly crafted by the owners and saw many youngsters having a blast with it. All in all, I would absolutely recommend this place for families, groups, and folks who just like good food and fun. read more

This place is obviously very hip. If you're bringing your family you're going to have to wade through a crowd of youngsters drinking and smoking weed outside. The smell was strong. Once inside Birdeez it was nice but wow was I shocked at the price tag! We paid 15$ a person for NINE HOLES. The Magic Carpet golf is 13$ for a 19 hole course so the price was pretty crazy to me. The course is fine, it was all smooshed together in one spot. The kids still enjoyed it so it wasn't a fail, but for the cost alone I doubt we will ever be back. We've been wanting to come here for a while! We've heard nothing but great things so we were excited to finally experience it. Upon arrive the front desk immediately welcomes you and lets you know the whole ordeal. You can either play a 9 upstairs or down. They also have darts downstairs. We arrived early so we could enjoy some food and drinks. I got chicken tenders and fries and it was delicious. The drinks weren't bad as well, I was nervous to order a cocktail but it ended up being yummy and the bartender was so nice. We were able to put our name in and play within 5 minutes. We headed downstairs and they were able to explain how it worked, they have a fun take on a joker experience while you put. Came here with my husband and brother on a Friday night and it was so packed! I can see why though! It's got to be Reno's new best hangout! They have 2 nice bars, one upstairs, one downstairs! They have 3- 9 hole courses- beginner, medium and hard. The prices I feel are very reasonable! It was $15 a person to do the course. They also gave the option to play darts downstairs! The course downstairs had a long wait but seemed the most fun so we just waited at the bar until it was our turn. We sat at a table near the bar and they had a waitress come take our order which was nice that we didn't have to order at the bar and flag a bartender down. They also have a good amount of food options on the menu, we were full so we didn't get any but their menu did seem a bit pricey. Once our tee time was called, we went downstairs and a staff member gave us instructions on how it worked. You get a wrist band to keep track of your board. You use the screens to keep track of your scores and there is a "joker" feature that adds difficulty and that was fun! The courses were actually kind of hard but it was such a fun time. Everyone inside was drinking and having a good time and would help each other out. Would recommend coming here to anyone! read more

We went here for the first time with friends and really enjoyed it. It's a huge location that has two floors; technically three if you count the additional loft type seating area on the main floor. We went downstairs and sat by the darts area. Lots of dart board areas to play various dart games that are pre-loaded. There's also a bar downstairs and a mini golf area (holes 19-27), high top tables, restrooms and kitchen area. We ordered some food and drinks. Everything was delicious and our server was very friendly and helpful. Main floor has a larger bar, lots of high top area seating, private seating areas for parties and more mini golf games. It's very open with high ceilings. You do need to sign a waiver before playing the games; and the games do cost extra. Seemed a little pricey, but clearly we didn't mind for darts and others didn't mind for mini golf either. It was pretty low key/calm when we first arrived around 5p, which made it nice to talk and enjoy without feeling crowded. As the night went on it definitely got more packed and larger groups started coming in. It was nice to see the business doing well. If you want to not feel rushed on mini golf then go on the earlier side to ensure a table and also a game where people aren't jammed up behind you. Review for mini golf and then food. Mini Golf was fun but a bit pricey. Lots of variables in play and experience with pool is helpful. They are open in the am (not busy) but there is no price reduction. It doesn't get busy until late afternoon and evening. They could have a more limited crew until then. They do need more help in the restaurant area on a Friday evening though. Our server was polite and attentive. She tried to serve ALL tables- it didn't seem fair that she was the only one on duty while there were 3 workers for mini golf (two were not that busy). The food was really quite good. The Caesar salad was large and tasty. In addition, our pork verde tacos were plentiful and delicious. Our friends ordered artichoke dip with pita chips and an artisan pizza that looked wonderful.
