They packed that meat in there wow. So good!
    Maddy M.

This birria food truck is one of my favorite finds of 2022. I drove past it on my way to work for about 6 months until I finally decided to stop and take a look at their menu. I took pictures and went to work, coincidentally all the fatties, I mean, coworkers at the office were craving birria for lunch that day and I suggested this place. Some of these guys are 10 times more Mexican than I will ever be able to claim to be, and I never thought I'd declare it, but pickier than myself (I've been in denial for years that I am "picky") so having them try this birria was going to give me an idea if it was as authentic and good as everyone says it is online. Did they like it? Yes. Did they say they'd order from there again? No. Reason being is, of course, they know of a better spot (which I got to try on the next occasion that we all craved some birria and that spot was phenomenal but a very far distance sadly). But this isn't their review this is mine! My personal opinion? Being as picky as I am and a birria lover as it is my second favorite Mexican dish ever... I liked it! A lot! And you know what I also really liked that I am extremely annoyingly picky about? Their rice! So much so, that I always ask for double rice instead of one scoop and one scoop of beans. I happily request for the beans to be replaced by their Mexican rice. The broth is good but I add a lot of lime and a little more salt to it. The only dish I have tried and will keep reordering is their birria plate. It comes with a generous amount of meat, rice, beans, consume on the side, and all the fixings which I don't care for other than limes. It is very filling as the portions are big and flavor is very good, and the prices are fair. With that beans said, all prices on the menu are including tax, and they only take cash or Zelle. Parking is easy too, they are on the curb off of Cherry right in front of Superior Grocers so you pull into their parking lot and walk up to the truck. Super convenient. The man and woman whom work there are very nice and I truly can't say anything negative about this place at all. I am so happy there's a birria truck close to my job that I can grab dinner from on my way home if my picky coworkers aren't open to it for lunch. Give it a try, you might think it's the best! And even if it's not, it sure is gratifying in all other aspects. I'll keep patronizing it for sure.

    Rock in my food

Ordered take out birria plate .. as I was eating I bit into something hard and it was a rock .. kinda hurt my teeth with it. Beans have no flavor and birria not much flavor either kinda dry... don't recommend

    Give this place a shot.

I have driven past this truck for a long time now and finally decided to stop. So glad I did upon stopping I told the young lady that I would like two asada tacos and one taco Dorado. She looked at me a little funny and then said sorry we don't have asada. Ok just give me three taco dorado please. So I head back to my truck to wait. It didn't take to long at all get my food and head home and proceeded to open the plate they had packed me and was pleasantly surprised with how good it looked and it had the flavor to match. This place is definitely on my hit list now. And as far as the review that said about the finger liking and napkins thing that's why I've never liked open kitchens I can only imagine some of the stuff that happens in the average kitchen. What you don't know can't bug you. Heck who knows that could add to the flavor and that's what it's all about make it taste good and they do that for sure.

    Mulitas!

I've passed by this truck and today decided to try them out. EXCELLENT! We ordered 2 Mulitas and 12 tacos. As yiu can see I wasn't cooking tonight. The meat is tender and flavourful. I will be back definitely. The young man who took my order was very friendly and patient. He even asked if we wanted to sample the meat first. Good service and great food!

    Taco fell apart

The birria in the taco was really flavorful and everything was super hot, which I loved. I live about 3 minutes away, and by the time we got home, the tacos had fallen apart. I got the quesa tacos. Wish the tortilla would have held up. They probably would have gotten another star. We also got their consomé. For some reason, the birria had more flavor. It tasted a bit watered down.

Tacos suaves plain con verdura a lado , cebolla cilantro, limones rábanos . Y un consomé grande .

Food is dry and has no flavor. They also got my order wrong. Disappointing. I don't recommend this spot.

It was good, but I was thinking that this might be the best ever. It wasn't that. Just as good as any taco truck. Still good, but I'm glad I went because it wasn't special for me and I no longer have to be bound by curiosity. I'll be able to get this experience elsewhere for a lot less money. To me the GOAT is Tire Shop Taqueria in downtown LA. It's still very inexpensive there, and every bite is a savor. I live in Hermosa Beach, and we have an outpost of tacos Tamix. Luckily for me, this didn't dethrone that place So, I have a new rating system......I will write what I feel honestly about an establishment. The only ratings I will give are 5 stars, which is enjoyable, or 3 stars which is "needs work." I thought about leaving 4 stars, but then thought about my new rating system.

Ordered a carne asda taco and an adobado taco in both and flour tortilla and corn tortilla. I love the flour tortilla so much!!!! It had nice charred flavor to it that was delicious. Would just get the flour next time! It's a food truck. There was no line to place our order but getting our food took around 15 min. Food came with onions, peppers, salsas and pico de gallo! Would def get this more often if it was closer. They had seats under a tent to eat and street parking in the neighborhood.

Today it actually showed closed, but they were open. I happened to drive by and decided to grab a bite. 2. Pricing feels inconsistent. Today I was charged $13.25 for a carne asada burrito after she asked if I was paying cash. I'm guessing it costs more if you don't pay cash. For reference, the menu on the cart lists it at $12. 3. Questionable quality. There's nothing wrong with a $15 or even $20 taco truck burrito if the quality and portion stay solid. But the flavor tasted heavily loaded with MSG, and the asada was chopped into tiny pieces, which felt like it was meant to hide meat that was dry or chewy. At best, this is a $8 burrito--and I do have an issue paying $13.25 for something that tastes and portions like a $8 burrito. Disappointing overall. I'll be branching out and trying other taco trucks in the area.

The meat is juicy and very flavorful, and they load it with onions/cilantro. Besides the tacos, I tend to get the carne asada fries which are full of meat and cheese. The mulita was also yummy! I recently tried the tacos with beans and rice, and the rice was good but the beans were slightly undercooked... I was also expecting refried beans, so was a bit disappointed by what came out. The first time I came here, my partner and I waited for over 20 minutes for our food. They let us know after that they're typically busy with online orders, and that it's a good idea to call ahead to reduce the wait time. We didn't like waiting for the food mainly because the area the truck is at is slightly sketchy at night. It felt unsafe to leave our car unattended while we wait for the food, so definitely call ahead to order!
