I ordered via UberEats to get a BOGO for Singapore noodles. Great deal for Price. Service was friendly and verified name and order and special requests. Albeit, I found the signapore had some key ingredients the glass noodles... I found the flavor lackluster of curry. I'm glad I requested hot chile oil on side and when I got home I just sprinkled on more curry. I wonder if I cold have requested to have more spicy curry flavor?!! Hmm. Also, this dish was missing more egg , green onions, and baby shrimp and char shu pork. The only protein was chicken. It's true. Every cook is different. Nice teriyaki restaurant offer a large selection of Japanese and chinese food. I stopped by here for lunch after shopping at a neighboring supermarket. Restaurant is very popular for the local lunchtime workers. I ordered the chicken teriyaki with Goyza lunch special. You order at the counter and the counter woman will bring the order to you if you eat in. The teriyaki chicken was nicely grilled and tasty; but heavy on the sauce. Goyza were crispy and filled moist pork filling. Side cole slaw salad also came with the dish. Overall, an enjoyable meal. read more

All and all I love this place. I just tried it my first time tonight since I moved in the area. I ordered to go the teriyaki and shrimp combo with white rice & a drink. When I came in I was greeted and the aura of the cashier was on point (nice guy). I asked about how long it might take he said 9-12 min. Great. So I stepped outside and came back in (it was exactly that wait time) a love a place that doesn't BS lol. The place on the inside looks clean there's a waiting bench if you want to sit down and wait for your order. There's chairs and tables for dine in. I asked for extra sauce in my bag but tbh they made it just right it didn't need extra. Rice was fresh. Very delicious, reliable chicken! I love the yakisoba chicken combo, but this time chose the standard combo, very good. The chicken was moist and charred perfectly with the sauce. I wish that the salad was served in the side container so I could have more chicken. The rice was very fluffy. I wish they served teriyaki sauce on the side but it was very well done. I've ordered take out from here a couple times for lunch during week and I was quite surprised with the quality of the food! I guess I just didn't have any recommendations and was craving teriyaki one day. My partner and I ordered one teriyaki and one tofu and veggie dish to share. Out of the two entrees I actually liked the tofu and veggie one the best! (Shocking because I'm usually all about the meat dishes!) But I really loved the sauce they cooked the tofu and veggies in. The teriyaki was pretty good but I thought the chicken was a little on the dry side. Overall, if you're craving teriyaki or Chinese type food, this will hit the spot! This food was terrible, and the service was horrific. People were not friendly from the start which should have been a red flag. There was a sign with an image depiction of food that looked delicious. The people brought it out, and the meal was absolutely NOTHING but corn and small red flecks of pepper. Seriously. That is IT. We asked if we could get help with hopefully getting an alternative meal. Or adding something but it looked terrible but my the host said there would be no chance. After giving up,and not trying to be rude, my friend decided to keep eating it, and we to continue the meal. Then absolutely worst thing that could have happened, while eating, I pulled a LONG HAIR out if my food! Yuck! At this point, we just got up and left. This time I had the chicken teriyaki with egg roll along with the fried rice. The teriyaki is good, but I really like the egg roll (the gyoza are a good choice as well. It also comes with a salad. The fried rice is a mix of chicken, beek, and shrimp. The portion size is not huge, but it tastes good (particularly the shrimp). Food is made to order and service is pretty quick. I love eating here every time I come home this is where I make sure I stop. Every time I go it gets better and better each time. I got the simple meal: Teriyaki Chicken with rice and salad. Its their original and mine too. Ahhh I was in heaven to be honest. I also order their tea I love it. Its a good flavor and I like it. Its just a green tea, maybe the brand. In the winter time it hits the spot. I wish NYC has a tasty teriyaki spot like this. I love how much seating it has and how many open seats during lunch time has because everyone one takes out and ends up leaving with their food. Its great fast, delicious, fully cooked chicken. This is one of the places I really miss since moving away from Capitol Hill. One of my favorite things about going here is how friendly and welcoming they are which has helped to build a very strong base of regular customers. The restaurant is always clean and well maintained which can be rare when it comes to teriyaki places. Everything I have ever ordered here has been really good and nothing has ever seemed like it has been made with low quality ingredients are by cutting any corners when it comes to preparation. The amount of food you get is good for the price you pay and I have always been satisfied with anything I have tried. The menu is extensive and clear, the woman who takes your order is cheerful and helpful, and the entire ordering process is quick and easy--perfect for me, because I exclusively get takeout here. You have to wait 5-10 minutes to get your food. But hey, there's free wifi! Play a couple of rounds of Angry Bird, check your email, whatever. When your food shows up, she'll ask if you want extra teriyaki sauce--score! The next step is to head home and devour the contents of that takeout box. Most offerings on their menu are under $10. Although the place appears to be clean and their food taste is just what you'd expect out of any quick teriyaki bowl joints, what made this place stands out is really customer service. The lady behind the counter working is simply one of the most gracious lady with customer service mind..and that's really hard to find these days. So for this bonus point, I wouldn't mind rating them higher than the 3 stars that I would have given for typical average teriyaki place..and actually wouldn't mind going there again next time. read more

Sadly underrated little restaurant in Capitol Hill on Broadway! I was on break from work one evening and looking for a quick bite for dinner. I was getting a little tired of eating at Dick's all the time, so I wandered here. I only saw one person working there, a helpful lady who appeared genuinely delighted that I was there. The place seems well-kept, and the bathroom was clean. Prices are also pretty low, which makes me wonder why more people don't come here. The fried rice I ordered came in a to-go box for some reason, even though I ordered it for here. But it was superb! It had a bit of a sweet taste to it if I'm not mistaken, at least compared to what I expect from fried rice. After I poured on the soy sauce, it became an amazing blend. And there was a ton of food in there; they must use those to-go boxes because they don't expect the average person to be able to finish the whole meal! I did anyway, and while it's not the most outstanding experience among all my restaurant visits, it's definitely enjoyable and worth another trip when I'm hungry and stop by the area again! read more
