Chicken teriyaki with yakisoba, grilled vegetables, and broccoli - IG @bougiefoodieboi
Kyle W.

This is a fast casual spot in the heart of South Lake Union - I'd imagine this spot to be fairly frequented during lunch time due to proximity to many offices. I placed an online order here for pickup and it was not too busy. I got the chicken teriyaki and the sauce is placed on the side (which is good since the sauce is quite salty) with yakisoba, grilled vegetables, and broccoli. The yakisobas were good outside of a clump that was a bit undercooked. The chicken was dry but remedied by the salty teriyaki sauce. The grilled vegetables had a strange aftertaste. The broccoli was good. The nice thing about this place is that it's reasonably priced and the food comes out really fast. Otherwise, the food is quite mediocre.

Absolutely amazing convenient on time it wasn't as hot as I wanted I ordered hot and spicy chicken and I didn't get hot and spicy chicken but it's okay it was you know delivery and it was on time during a rainy day so I appreciate that thank you so much in my order was exactly right they even remembered the two extra sauces on the side thank you

This reminded me of like Panda style serving which gave you different option. I got white rice, chicken, veggies topped off with teriyaki sauce. The chicken was pretty good and the sauce tasted OK but my rice was a tad mushy and a few of my veggies were hard like sitting under a heat lamp all day. But I really enjoyed this dish and I love chicken teriyaki,

We were about to go to Chipotle next door but decided to try something different. And the selling point for me was being able to get a healthy meal. I went with the pickled cabbage, vegetable stir fry, tofu, and hot sauce. She got the yakisoba, vegetable stir fry, pork, and regular sauce. The food was good. A lot of flavors. Quick and friendly service. And best of all, prices were reasonable. Would definitely come here again.

I had the teriyaki plate with broccoli, brown rice, and slaw. Chicken was juicy, and the teriyaki sauce blended well with the brown rice. The slaw was suggested by the server and I'm glad I tried it. It was the perfect late lunch upon my arrival to Seattle. It is walking distance from downtown hotels and businesses. They are generous with their portions and they offer other meats as well as veg/vegan options. The service was fast and helpful. They answered my questions about the menu and offered me suggestions. Seating is available inside and outside on the courtyard that gets filled with locals during prime lunch time. I gave it 4 stars because I've yet to try other teriyaki spots in Seattle to compare it to.

I went this place to see if it was any good or not. It's a teriyaki spot ya know...the food is right in front of you....you pick what you want...and leave. I didn't see much of a drink selection unless you want soda. Let me say this....if you want to taste the char of the grill from the teriyaki...you ain't getting it. Yakisoba kinda taste like ramen noodles from package...cabbage salad was good. Now if you want a quick lunch on the go and not too worried about food being perfect. Swing by and grab some food. I'll go eat there again....just giving you a heads up so you expectations aren't too high.

Food is always great but the portions lately are really lacking. Maybe it's just this location but I'm very disappointed!!

My local friends recommended we come here for some authentic Japanese food while we were visiting…read more We texted ahead to reserve a table for 5 since it is a popular place. They don't take phone calls or reservations online - very old school. Which I think makes it more desirable. We ended up getting a special room with a "chabudai" style table! I was super excited because I've never experienced it before. What I did find pleasant was that although it was a lower table, there was an opening beneath the table that allowed your legs to hang rather than having to sit Indian style. Tyson was an amazing server. Was attentive, accommodated our allergies and was thoughtful with us having a young child. He was so pleasant and polite! We enjoyed the following: Baked miso glazed eggplant - YUM and melts in your mouth. Black Miso Cod Collar - this was pleasantly surprising and so delicious. Eat bite was tender and flavorful. Simple yet so appetizing. Sushi rolls were both fresh and well prepared. The nigiri was also great and fresh- not fishy. We additionally ordered takoyaki - which I normally don't love but this one was very tasty and I enjoyed the texture. Lastly karage chicken which came with a creamy slaw. Overall it was such a pleasant experience and we look forward to coming back!

Seattle's oldest Japanese restaurant, Maneki is awash in history and tradition, from the Beckoning…read moreCat decor that greets you at the entry, to the private Tatami rooms where you can eat at an authentic, low-slung chabudai table, seated on cushions on the floor. Established in 1904 in the heart of Japantown, the restaurant relocated to the ground floor of the NP Hotel after its original structure was ransacked during World War II, when Seattle's Japanese community was relocated to internment camps outside the city. The hotel where Maneki now resides served as repository for family heirlooms that were left behind during that embarrassing and tragic period of American history. The joy of dining at Maneki goes well beyond the restaurant's incomparable history. The traditional Japanese menu has something for every taste, from delicious Nigiri and Maki Sushi to noodle dishes and local seafood. Pair your meal with a classic Japanese cocktail or a cold bottle of Sake, and you'll understand why this is one of Seattle's best culinary experiences. Highly recommended.

I sat at the sushi bar as it was just myself. For lunch, I opted in for the Power Lunch and it was fantastic. Served with 5 pieces of nigiri, seared salmon, miso soup, salad, edamame and more. The salad is great with the ginger dressing and the miso soup was flavorful with tofu. The nigiri was fresh and flavorful. Also got a shrimp tempura roll which was great with tempura shrimp and fresh avacado. Overall no complaints here. There are so many dishes I want to try and will be back soon for more.

I want to clarify that I rate places based on how they compare to other similarly priced places,…read morenot necessarily compared to all other restaurants. For what this place is, I think it's great! The prices are really good considering all that you get and the quality of sushi is pretty good considering the price as well. I was pleasantly surprised to see their combos come with additional appetizers like the agadashi tofu, the salad with dressing choices, and miso soup. The chicken katsu definitely had more meat and a thinner layer of breading as an FYI. I ordered the sushi combo for 38 dollars and got great tasting sushi for that price. Overall, I'd recommend this place if you want somewhere casual with good options and little extra items mixed in with your meals. It's definitely not like Umi, or Shirros but you're also paying like 1/3 to 1/2 the price. I definitely see myself returning when I want a quick or convenient bite to eat (it's one block from my home).

Momiji was one of those and it was extremely close to the movie theater we were walking out of. Sushi sounded great so we strolled over to get some. The sushi didn't disappoint... not in the slightest! We got some specialty rolls off of that portion of the menu and they were so very good! Fresh and extremely flavorful! Moonraker was one of the rolls we got. I highly recommend it! In addition to that we got an order of the Spicy Tofu... again delicious and made an excellent side with our sushi! I got a hard alcohol I wasn't used to getting. It was fun and it was quite good! It was Shochu which is a distilled beverage and involves sweet potato. If memory serves I got the one with sweet potato and pear. Very different but very good. It had a nice dryness to it. To wrap it all up we got some deep fried mochi ice cream. It held up nicely to being a great finish to a very high quality meal. We are definitely coming back!
