I ordered the Super Burrito with steak (crispy), a Super Taco with carnitas, and chips with salsa. Overall, I thought the portions were generous and the prices were fair, especially for freshly made food. As for the flavor, I would not call it bland like some other reviews have mentioned, although taste is obviously subjective. To me, the food leaned more on the mild side rather than being heavily seasoned. It was still enjoyable, but I do think the steak and carnitas could use a little more depth and boldness in flavor. One thing that really stood out was the service. The ladies working there were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The food truck itself, along with the seating area, had a very warm, family-friendly vibe that made it a pleasant place to eat. There was a bit of a wait, but it felt worth it because the food was made fresh. That said, if you are in a hurry, I would definitely recommend placing an online pickup order ahead of time. I'd give this place 4.5 stars. The only reason I'm taking off half a star is because the meat portions felt a little lighter than I would have liked, and the steak and carnitas were somewhat too mild for my taste. I completely understand the realities of inflation and rising costs, but I'd honestly rather see a small price increase than a reduced meat portion. The food is still good, and I think customers would keep coming back.

I always get the Steak Super Burrito (crispy) so I've never tried anything else lol. But this is one of my favorite spots for a big burrito. The wait has never been too long and there's so many fans at the picnic table. There's limited parking in the lot and street so that's the only negative. Other than that I think it's delicious and the salsas are so good (but spicy).

Stop by on a weekend, and there was a small line already. Good thing I placed an order ahead via their website so it will be ready when I got there. Parking that is going to be hard as you have to park in the neighborhood as there is not a dedicated parking lot for them. Be careful parking on the other side parking lot as there are signs for towing if caught. The food truck is pretty big, so it is hard to miss and it is bright orange. There are little windows where you can see them work as well. The food portion was big, and everything tasted fresh and hot. The salsa had a nice spice to it, which I like. If you don't eat a big portion, I would say share. I typically eat less during lunch and a big portion for dinner, so I saved the rest for later. I do like that the burrito is pressed to get it some texture, which I believe all burritos need to be pressed nowadays. It is outdoor seating. But there is some shade while you eat. Just be careful of windy days, as your salsa or food can fly away. There is another food truck there for dessert and a coffee shop.

Heading to workout at the gym. Being on the Daniel fast, I feel like I am hungry all the time. Meat add some density in your diet and protein tend to fill you up. I needed a little snack before working out. Therefore, I stopped by Asado's Taqueria for a snack to hold me over until dinner. Most of their burritos had meat. Danny, the manager, said he could make a vegetarian burrito. I really did not want something so hearty before dinner, so I opted for guacamole and chips. The guacamole was tasty and the corn chips non-oily. It hit the spot. There is small seating area in the center of the food truck park. There were a couple of "to go" orders that folks picked up while I waited. Please note the guacamole is a single service size. There was ample free street parking. Look forward to returning when I a super hungry.

The outside smoke is even seasoned!!! I was eating my gelato and the aroma from this truck pulled me in. I had to wait a while, but it was worth it . There were a decent amount of benches to sit down for the space. I was able to get a park vs parking on the street. I ordered the regular steak tacos. When I saw the steak being flipped through the window, I knew I was in for a treat . I love that the taco came with beans! My steak was so well seasoned and cooked well. I enjoyed this taco so much. Also it was not dry. Be mindful that it has pico, so it may get the tortilla soggy. I suggest eating it there. I saw alot of people with the burritos. I will definitely get the burrito next time!

Yum! Asados Taqueria has California mission style burritos and don't hate on diversity in Mexican staples for local Tex mex lovers but these super burritos are absolutely lovely! The tortillas are toasted, which makes the burrito hold its texture and filling without making a mess, the service is swift since we online ordered and picked up right on time, and the outdoor patio seating tables have shade and are great and lovely to indulge a la fresco on a cool evening for your dinner noms! I also scooped up a burrito bowl which was very well portioned and love the offerings of proteins for solid entree choices. Can't wait to come back, parking is the cozy tiny lot or street parking but it's a great local eats place which is a good spot to get your taco and burrito fix!

After hearing great things about this place having great burritos, I was excited to try them out. The location wasn't hard to find and there were a few other food trucks in the area. After reading about the long lines/wait times I decided to go early. The young lady who took my order was extremely polite and upbeat, customer service was on point. I ordered a chicken super burrito (crispy) and a regular flour steak taco. The food was very filling, but unfortunately in my opinion it lacked any real flavor. The food was warm and tasted fresh, it also came with green and red hot sauce which added some additional flavor. I don't see myself coming back again, but if I do I will add lime and extra sour cream and hot sauce to jazz it up a bit.

The super burrito really is super (big). Full of flavor and good as a crispy burrito. The bean and cheese regular burrito; however, lacked flavor. The salsas are very spicy. Easy to place an online order for pickup online.

This was my first time trying Asado's. I decided to come and try them before getting gelato from Kessho for a Friday lunch. There wasn't anybody ahead of us when we walked up to the truck so we were able to place our order quickly and got a recommendation on what to order. You get a little beaver to let you know when your order is ready which enabled us to check out the little shop that's part of the food truck park. There were a couple of orders in ahead of us so our weight was maybe around 10 minutes. Even if we hadn't gone into the shop, they now have the picnic tables covered, which is kinda nice. We split the super burrito with steak and got it crispy. It came with two of their tomatillo Bay sauces, and one red sauce. I didn't notice that the tortilla sauce was spicy, but my daughter thought it was. The red sauce was definitely spicy, but in a great way. The burrito is a good size for the price. And it's quite flavorful. Couple of the pieces were a little chewy, but overall it was an enjoyable and filling lunch. Agua de Jamaica was good, but it is very sweet. I am taking ours home and going to pour over some more ice and maybe water it down just a little bit to cut the sweetness, but it is quite refreshing. I look forward to trying more items in the menu but may either order as take out or wait until fall.

    Bean and cheese super burrito

We stopped by before heading out of Austin on Saturday evening. Even though we arrived less than 15 minutes before their posted closing time, the guy at the counter was friendly and helpful. I ordered the bean and cheese super burrito and my boyfriend ordered the steak super burrito. These burritos are stuffed full of goodness. The rice and beans were cooked to perfection. The beans could have used a little more seasoning, but the salsa added that extra flavor. The guacamole was fresh, vibrant, and perfectly seasoned. Let's talk about the salsas. The red was spicy hot! It was packed full of flavor, so use it judiciously. My favorite was the green. It was delicious and creamy and had just enough heat. I did not use this judiciously and got a little sweat on. Also, be warned, the chips and guacamole are addictive and will cut into your hunger level before the burrito. The food was definitely worth the trip up from San Antonio.

Been here a few times and although the burritos are good, I think their rice bowl is the best!! Everything tasted very fresh and flavorful. Opted to add guac too and was not disappointed. Their salsa has a great kick to it and chips are great. There is a good amount of seating and then street parking or parking at the shopping mall across the street. They have beautiful plants and landscaping around the truck and picnic tables. They can get a pretty long line around lunch time so I recommend showing up right when they open at 11.

The elote was good, but very creamy and a bit heavy. The queso was good but tbh I prefer Torchy's. The grilled steak taco was a bit underwhelming, I wanted it to have more flavor, it just tasted like beef and cheese. The chicken had good flavor and the special weekly taco was enjoyable and interesting, not like any taco I have had before. There is plenty of variety for people including those with dietary restrictions. My friends ordered two tacos each and I was full after 3 tacos so if you are not a big eater stick with two.

I chose it because I preferred pinto beans to black beans. I added thier salsas that were creamy and it was delish with poblanos in it. The tacos sounded really simple to me from the descriptions but I ended up really enjoying the one I had for breakfast!
