The food here Is just ok and the prices are reasonable. We did not like everything we got from here and may just go back to pick up the items we enjoyed. We got the kebab Platter, Which had the chicken tikka kebab shrimp kebab and lamb kebab. The chicken and shrimp kebabs were really good however the lamb kebab was not that's good and did not seem fresh. Additionally we got the tandoori chicken legs and also butter chicken For the kiddos. Tandoori legs were OK but the butter chicken was not that well made As it was slightly sweet and did not have the right kind of spices. Usually this is my go-to place for biriyani's. During my recent visit, I was told to try Indo-Chinese items as they have a new chef specialized in these items. I tried schezwan fried rice, noodles and gobi manchuria. it's very good and my kids loved it. Better than other close by restaurants around my area. We were looking for an Indian Restaurant closer to home. We found this place with fairly decent ratings close to the freeway. At 7:00 pm on a Friday night no one was in the Restaurant. I did see several takeout orders ready to be picked up so I figured maybe the food was descent. I told the Woman we wanted to dine in and that it was just two of us. She gave us the menu's, water was already sitting in a pitcher at our table. The service was very slow, I believe this place gets a lot of takeout orders and she was busy handling those. She finally approached us to take our order, at this point we only ordered appetizers. Still no one in the restaurant at this point. Our appetizers were finally ready after 20 minutes. We ordered Chicken 65 and Samosa Chaat. The Chicken was ok, but the Samosa Chaat was amazing. The red onions, tamarind sauce, pieces of broken up samosa was delicious! We tried to order dinner, but she never came back to our table to place the order. By this time, the restaurant is packed. People standing in line either picking up take out via door dash bags in hand and other folks waiting to be seated. I had to stand in line a with 5 people ahead of me to place a dinner order. I placed my order, and I told the guy we were dining in. The food came out relatively fast. Garlic Naan: was very good, super fresh and complimented our dishes well. Chicken Tikka Masala Spicy: tender juicy boneless chunks, in a thicker creamy sauce then I normally see which was really good. In fact, this might be the best Chicken Tikka I have ever had. Vegetable Manchurian:Veggie Meatballs in a thick gravy sauce with ginger and garlic spices. Raita: was well seasoned with carrots and a little sour taste that went well with the side of plain white rice that I ordered. I've already told several people about how delicious the food is here. I know the Customer Service wasn't great but that's how it is at Indian Restaurants at least for me. The food was well prepared, the menu was thought out to include quality dishes from most parts of India at a great price so that the entire community can chow down. Yes, the biryani here is delicious. I've ordered the chicken biryani close to a dozen times, as it's close by and a quick pick-up. The last time, though, I was wearing a mask when I phoned my order in, and when I went to go pick up my chicken biryani, we learned that they misheard me order a mutton biryani. I didn't want them to make a whole new order for me (not that they offered), so I just figured I'd try something new. Now, I can't compare it to other mutton biryanis, because well, I'd never ordered it from anywhere before, but the texture was tough & the meat wasn't very moist. Sticking to chicken here in the future. It really is very good: texture, flavor, & portion size. The spiciness level is a fun game of roulette. It doesn't seem to matter if you ask for mild, medium, or spicy (which is funny because sometimes they ask). I've ordered medium & gotten mild. I've ordered mild and gotten spicy. Easily top 2 or 3 spiciest food excursions of my life (the other was a Thai restaurant in the Marina in SF and a few chicken wing joints from my NYC days). Felt like I ran a marathon after eating that; a lot of sweating and pores-clearing. Which is not a demerit against the restaurant, as the food is really good. And my co-worker (who is of Indian descent) even told me this was only about a 2-3 in terms of spice levels (out of 10) for him. I guess I am just a weakling. I'm a big Indian food fan, and haven't had it in awhile. We ordered the following: -Biryani bowl (I believe it was the paneer). Very good. I liked the yogurt sauce with it. Huge portion too. You could just split this w/someone and it'd be enough food. Very tasty. -Chicken vindaloo--had to go with this one due to the potatoes in it. Pretty spicy but I enjoyed it. -Garlic naan was also good, but I think I like the plain one better. Plenty of food to take home (although a refill of naan cost me $2.97 or something like that). And plenty of food for a party of 2. The space is quite small, but the parking lot the restaurant is in is big, so you shouldn't have an issue finding a spot. The staff is quick to bring out the food, and there's a complimentary water pitcher placed on all the tables when you walk in, which prevents them having to keep refilling you (I drank most of the pitcher myself). We are celebrating a birthday and the person usually loves Biryani, and even though I had some bad experiences lately, I said I would give it another try. Placed the order on Uber Eats, got the notification that the food was ready to be picked up. I arrived and the restaurant was closed. I called, no answer. I immediately reached out to Uber Eats and after about 10 min, they were able to get ahold of them and they admitted they had closed early. Why would they when an order was paid and approved for?? The butter chicken was so disappointing, a container of 4 dry cubes of chicken in butter sauce. The butter chicken was not freshly cooked and we likely got the bottom of the pot. My husband and I ordered from DoorDash last night and here is my review from the both of us. I had called ahead and asked about certain items to make sure they were vegetarian and the staff was very helpful and pleasant on the phone. However, the food was overall, too salty and oily! The (vegetarian) samosas had a great spiciness and crispy texture, but the spices that may have been inside were overpowered with salt. The paper bag they were in was also covered in oil. We added a special request note for some tamarind sauce on the side, which was not fulfilled. For one of my main dishes, I had the dal makhani, where again, the oil and salt overpowered any other spices. The paneer butter masala was too sweet for me, and my husband's butter chicken was "just ok" and a bit on the spicy side after requesting "non-spicy if possible". We also ordered garlic naan, which was decent; albeit, not memorable. Lastly, we ordered two extra sides of rice, but only received one, small container, so I'm not sure if they forgot to give us another or not. I am assuming they left out a rice order, as the other portions of food were notably generous. There also wasn't a receipt attached with our food, that would have confirmed the second rice was checked for and included. We had to throw away the leftovers because the food was just too salty/oily and overly sweet to attempt to finish. We are new to the area, so this probably won't be our new, go-to Indian food spot, but we had to try it to find out. read more

He let me test something that I didn't really care for the taste. So I took a gamble & chose the chicken vindaloo. For an appetizer I chose the vegetable Samosas. The inside tasted pretty good& sauces were good as well. Only thing bad is that they were a bit greasy& too flaky. As for the chicken vindaloo, it was pretty tasty. I'm a lunch regular here and I always get the same thing - quick lunch combo platter with chicken tikka masala (less chicken, more gravy) and chana masala. The lunch combos are GREAT - for a little less than $10 you pick 2 curries and it comes with rice, raita, dessert, naan, and papad. I usually do without the dessert, since I don't eat it, and they actually give me a little more curry in its place on the platter. I enjoy the chicken tikka masala here because it isn't too creamy or tomato-y. I can taste a good blend of spices. Same goes with the chana masala - it's not too dry and it's not soupy - very flavorful. I will say the chicken of the tikka masala can be dry sometimes, but dunking it in curry will fix that. Raita is great, very refreshing. The naan comes out hot/fresh and a little oily. The naan is also more bready/doughy here, which I don't mind. All in all, great place to go for a quick lunch when I'm craving Indian food. It is the perfect amount of food for only $10! read more

We had lunch there and are very impressed. My wife ordered a Chicken Nawabi with Naan. The quality of the chicken was additionally very good. I ordered the Mutton Dum Biriyani (actually goat, not sheep, but the word "mutton" is used for both in many countries) We both tried both dishes, and found them delicious. I think this place is the best for all its biriyanis in tri valley area. It's a small hole in the wall serving authentic and most consistent biriyani. Many other biriyanis are loaded with salt, but not this one, and I like that! The owner is kind and offers good customer service. We ordered Mughlai chicken, Nawabi Mutton, Mirchi ka salan and Paneer Ghongura. Everything had its own distinct taste and was cooked to perfection. We loved the food so much that couldn't hold ourselves back from ordering double ka meetha and Rasmalai. We weren't surprised to find out the desserts were just equally delicious!
