The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We started with samosas with chutney and gobi Manchurian. For an entree, we had some butter chicken and buttered naan. Definitely worth stopping by and we'll be going back again.

We ordered a lot. Vegetable Samosa (3 pcs), Butter Chicken, Butter Naan and Gobi Manchurian. Two people shared and had leftovers

This was the first time we ever ate at Biryani Bowl and it won't be the last. The restaurant was very clean and had the music at a a nice level. I enjoy Indian music. We went over the menu and it has everything. Vegetarian, lamb, chicken. The lady at the counter was very sweet and attentive. The gentleman who brought out our food was also very kind and everyone was happy to be there. The food was great, we ordered the butter chicken not spicy. It came to the table perfect. The samosas were great in my opinion. Husband said he would have like them cooked a little longer. The gobi was good, I'm just not a fan of green peppers. It was crispy and the sauce was very good. I do think we could have had a little more rice but I like a lot of rice and not a deal breaker. I'm sure if we would have asked we could have gotten more. We are adding Biryani Bowl into our rotation. This is the best Indian food we have found in the Surprise area!!

The food here was delicious and I will definitely be back! We got the butter chicken, saag paneer, chicken vindaloo and garlic naan. Each of the curries had great flavor and paired perfectly with each other and the naan and rice! At the end of our meal the waitress even brought a complimentary dessert!

The best butter chicken I've ever had! They really do load it up with chicken too. Highly recommend this place, it never misses!

    Butter Chicken

We ordered butter chicken and garlic naan. It was very flavorful, good portion size and reasonably priced. Enough for us to share. The ambiance could use some work. Seems like they do a lot of take out. We will definitely be returning.

I've never had Indian food before and wanted to try butter chicken, and it was so delicious! Very flavorful and the right amount of spice for me.

    Garlic Naan was very good

I have wanted to try this type of food for years. Unfortunately, my fear of not liking it stopped me every time I considered it. Well, I finally got so bored with my usual food choices. I stepped out of my comfort zone and ordered delivery. Mainly to try it in my safe space (home). Everything I ordered was so delectable. I enjoyed every bite. I will absolutely be ordering again.

Biryani Bowl is a newly opened Indian Restaurant located in a strip mall off of Bell Road by many car dealers. This isn't a fancy place and is mainly take out but but can dine indoors or on the small patio. The food is mostly North Indian Style and on different days of the week besides the menu they also offer many specials. We ordered three weekend specials and a fish curry off the regular menu. We weren't asked about spice levels. In general all the food was fresh and flavorful. The food did have heat to it but was mild heat. We tried mirapakaya chicken (stir fried chicken appetizer), chule batura (chick peas with fried bread), mughial chicken (in onion curry...this was melt in mouth tender), and fish curry. Everything was at least GOOD. Proteins were on the small side in the main dishes. The curry leaves stay in the dishes. I was going to give 4 stars. The flavors run a little more fragrant with cloves and other exotic spices. The chicken in the onion curry was really great and was melt in your mouth tender. Most people would give give the fish curry 3 or less stars....Flavor-wise it is a little different and has less sour and less heat but it. The fish was cooked very nicely but was only a few flakes of fish in it. A different new unique Indian Restaurant! 3 Stars means A-OK on Yelp. Worthy of a try! 3.5 stars

Every encounter I've had with Indian food was not good until this place. The lady who took our order was truly the sweetest. She took the time to answer any of our questions and explained everything to us very well. The food was so phenomenal. The unique spices were there but subtle not overwhelming at all. Recommend checking this place out.G

Every noodle dish I've gotten from there has been amazing, same with the orange chicken (for those of us that love when there's little mandarin orange pieces with the chicken), they have dumplings they have mango lassi, genuinely they have it all! And ITS HALAL! Make sure you check this place out!

We were seated and it actually took longer than I expected to get a drink order. No diet beverages due to a broken dispenser. I saw that they had a small Indian beer selection, so I ordered an Old Monk which was displayed at the bar and in the menu. "Sorry, we don't have a liquor license". OK. I'll have water which was on the table in covered carafes but was warm since any ice had long ago melted. They have a strange menu of Chinese and Indian food. Not a big selection of either, but it allowed me to select Indian and my wife to choose Chinese. I asked about the portion size of the Chicken 65 and was told it was a starter sized portion. My wife wanted Sweet and Sour but not chicken or shrimp, she wanted tofu. The kitchen agreed to make it but told us up front that they weren't sure how it would be (found that odd). We also ordered Lo Mein since we assumed the Chicken 65 would be smaller. With all these troubles, the food came and it was very good. The Chicken 65 was a very large starter. I thought it was very good with the exception of finding some cartilage chunks in the meat. The sweet-and-sour tofu was also very good. I am not sure why the kitchen did not have confidence in their abilities. Lo mein was just average. When it was time for the check, the waiter wanted to know if we wanted a box for the little bit of lo mein that was left and we said no so he inquired to whether or not we like the dish and offered to take it off the bill or make us something different. We told him that everything was fine. The food was fine and we were just ready to go. All in all, I don't think we would return here due to the lack of selection on the menu. It was kind of limited. The menu was also confusing since it didn't group things together very well.

The restaurant never got completely full, but there was a steady flow of guests in and out. We started with the Vegetable Pakora, Masala Fries, and the Chicken 65. For entrees we shared the Korma with chicken, Palak with paneer, and the Tandoori shrimp. The curries come with rice and we also ordered some Naan on the side. All the food was excellent. There wasn't anything we didn't like. Each appetizer comes with a different sauce. The combination of flavors and textures made for a really fun dining experience. The tandoori shrimp has a good heat to it - you can increase or decrease the spice depending on heat level. For dessert we ordered the Gulab Jamun - it comes with 3 pieces. The server / host was friendly and helped us with some questions we had on the menu. If you like Indian food, I'd recommend this spot.
