Food was delish. Would highly recommend. Service was fast. I had someone else pick it up so I didn't get to see the ambiance.

Insanely underrated Indian food! Highly recommend. Was given free dessert on the house as well.

We were seated right away and it ended up being a good time because the small restaurant filled up not long after. Lots of folks can l came in for pickup orders as well, which is always a good sign that the good going to be good! We ordered a Veg Mixed Platter to start, my husband ordered Chili Paneer, and I ordered Malai Kofta. We got some garlic naan and regular naan as well. Our appetizers came out quickly and were piping hot. We loved the entire platter including the chutneys. Our main dishes were delicious as well and we had plenty to take home for the next day. While we passed on dessert this time, they had some tasty sounding options!

The interior is cozy and nicely decorated and doesn't have an overwhelming amount of tables. They seemed to stay consistently busy inside and a steady flow of carryout orders. Spice levels are always a little tricky with Indian food. I did order a mild vegetable briyani dish for my toddler but it was too spicy for him but he did devour the garlic Naan. I ordered one of the lamb dishes "mild" and my friend one of the sizzling chicken dishes "spicy." We switched dishes as the spice levels seemed to have switched from what we requested. Overall everything was delicious. Mango lassi was great and I also decided to try Masala tea, which i will definitely have to try again.

Food: I could've gone spicier but the mild dishes still packed the flavor you'd expect of Indian cuisine. The Gohbi Manchurian was a great appetizer that you couldn't stop eating even when it started to fill you up. The non-vegetarian Thali was also a great way to taste a variety of dishes. My only wish would be to have different curry bases for the lamb, chicken and daal. Service: The waiter gave great recommendations and helped us have a pleasure meal with attentive but non-disruptive check ins. Atmosphere: The decor and lighting makes things cozy, but it was pretty standard for an Indian restaurant.

She has never had Indian, so we picked G1 Indian at 49th & College in Broad Ripple - which was a new place for both of us. The waiter was wonderful in explaining the different foods to her. We had the fried cauliflower for an appetizer. She had the Thali -- a traditional Indian meal served with tandoori chicken, lamb curry, dal, rice, raita, naan, and kheer (dessert). I had the Chloe Batura lunch special (chana masala = spicy chick peas, and deep friend bread). And, we both had leftovers for later. It was a #yum #ReviewsByRL
