This order was to-go and by the time I got back home the food was still hot and when i arrived the order was ready on time. The chicken biriyani was delicious and the basmati rice smelled very good. The chicken literally fell off the bone and melted in your mouth. The portion was also incredible. Got a solid 2 meals outta it. The mirchi ka salan was also pretty good but I wished it was spicier. The reason behind this place only getting 4 stars is that the naan was only okay. It wasn't the texture like crisp that you'd expect from fresh naan but pretty chewy like frozen naan and the flavor of it wasn't the best. The raita was also a very loose consistency and not enough flavor. My husband and I were in the area, so we decided to just stop by and place our order in person. We were happy to see that they had a window looking towards the parking lot where you can place your order, and keep safe distancing from the person working at the restaurant. We had already seen the menu on Yelp, which made ordering a little quicker. For our first time, we order the Chicken 65, Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan and white basmati rice. The Chicken 65 was perfection! It is stir fried chicken with chilies, onions, ginger and other ingredients. I love spicy food, and this dish was exactly what I wanted. I wouldn't consider it to be real "hot" but it has a kick at the end. If you can't handle spicy food, I would stay away from ordering this dish. If you love spicy food then GO FOR IT! The Chicken Tikka Masala, was equally delicious but not spicy. The flavors were on point, and it the watched perfectly with the naan garlic bread. Everything was good except for the taste of their boneless chicken biryani. Very good portion of rice and chicken, however, the taste was lacking. We walked into the restaurant on a busy Sunday afternoon and the place was packed with customers. We got seated with a slight delay. I ordered chicken lollipops, vegetable cutlets and chicken biryani. The lollipops were very good, however the veggie cutlets barely had any vegetables in them except for potatoes. Paying was straightforward and quick, I liked how the worker did not stare you down for a tip. Give card, receive receipt, get food, leave. The chicken 65 ($10.99) is an appetizer, it reminds me of chicken jerky, a little bit tough but still good. It was covered in sauce that was a bit overpowering with a good kick of spiciness. I prefer to eat it with rice or naan. The chicken tikka masala ($11.99) came with 2 tiny, adorable boxes of rice. It was packed with flavor and probably my favorite dish there so far. The garlic naan ($3.49) was a bit difficult to tear apart and it was very chewy. It didn't have much garlic on it and tasted like a regular naan. Overall, food was great! Will order the plain naan next time since it's about $2 cheaper than the garlic one and hopefully it won't be as chewy! read more

Oh boy! Where do I even start?! I was so excited to head to this place due to the amazing reviews on Google and other forums. But man! It's such a disappointment. Let's start with the ambiance, it's a little better than a hole in the wall with some tables. it's mostly catered to take out food. Ordered egg biryani and paneer biryani. Paneer biryani they say is pan fried paneer on top of the veg dum biryani so you'll end up getting some veggies. By default it's medium spicy. Both egg and paneer lacked the Hyderabadi flavor. It was strictly bland. The raita is watered down. It's literally water. The salan is nothing to write home about either. I've had better food elsewhere. Now service, this is where this place truly sucks! Sorry but I have to be honest. Because there were people waiting, the server constantly came to our table to see if we were done, asking if we need a carry bag and got us the bill even though we were eating. We couldn't stand this rude behavior as he just subtly was constantly (multiple times) telling us to leave. Never coming here again! read more

Great flavor and portion size! I've never been disappointed in Biryani Pot. Every dish packs the right amount of heat and goes great with naan and rice. Your dish will come with rice and the naan will run you $2+ for 4 slices. The Chicken Tikka Masala is the perfect texture and mix of meat and veggies. I love the flavor of this and always order this dish without fail. Only complaint is that the acidity from the tomatoes can cause some post meal heartburn. The second dish ordered was some coconut chicken curry dish (completely blanking on the name). I also thought this curry was good, but probably wouldn't order again. There was some taste in the dish I couldn't quite get past. Service was fast and staff was really nice. It was a pleasant dining experience. Lunch Hour prices are FANTASTIC. Ate with a group of 6 friends here on a Tuesday lunch time, and we were given a table immediately. Flavor was an impact. I thought I could handle the spicy, but next time definitely going for mild spice haha. The lunch menu offered a $10 deal (picture of tray) that was super filling for my guy friends. I split the Tiki Masala + 2 baskets of garlic naan roughly $14 and still had leftovers for the next day. Such a great time! A little lacking in service, but not bad at all. Would recommend! This Indian restaurant chain specializes in food from the southern region of India, with many options that the city of Hyderabad is known for. They also have some Indo-China options on the menu. The entrees here are REALLY large and meant to be shared family style, or you can always take your leftovers home. The place isn't very large, but we got there at 6:45 and had no problems getting seating for about 10 of us. By the time we left around 8:30, the place was bumpin' though, and people were standing around waiting for tables. Appetizer - Gobi Manchurian - WOW, these were the bomb, and I would recommend them to anyone. Crispy fried cauliflower smothered in a wonderful spicy, soy based glaze. It had just a bit of a spicy kick to it, but not overwhelmingly so. Entrees: Navaratham Kurma - REALLY good. Nine vegetables served in a delicious, creamy sauce. Normally not served spicy, but I asked them to make it spicy and it was perfect! However, there was more sauce than veggies in it (almost like a soup) so I poured it over the basmati rice to thicken it up a bit. Hyderabadi Goat Dum Biryani - the rice was wonderfully seasoned and you could taste the separate distinct seasonings that each of the three rice types were cooked in. They don't cook them all together like another place in town does - they cook them separately and then combine them. The goat meat was in decent sized chunks, it was tender and had a good flavor to it. Chicken 65 (I don't see it listed on the online menu, but I'm certain that's what it was - it might be listed under another name) - tender, spicy chunks of chicken. I'm a fan of this dish, but I'll have to confirm the name of it. Shrimp Biryani was also ordered, but by the time it made its way to me, I was stuffed, so I can't comment on that dish. Service is good, very friendly, but the place DOES get crowded in the evenings. And when we were all closing out at the register, the guy running it was also juggling call in orders between two phones. They are THAT good y'all! One other great thing about a combo vs a buffet is that the accoutrement is set and you don't stare at a table of condiments and have to figure out what goes with what. It was a little spicy, but our waiter warned us ahead of time. Unfortunately they can't make it non-spicy! - ample and easy parking - food portions are quite generous (besides the naan) Cons - Our waiter was a little inattentive...we had to ask several times to get our waters filled - I wish the menu had pictures especially since some of the food descriptions isn't very clear - This place is hectic! You literally have to walk up to a window and pay/pick up - it gave me movie ticket purchasing vibes the with the guy and his microphone - anyways. I paid about 29.00 for my husband and I. We ordered the Chicken Biryani, Chicken 65, and Vegetable Samosa (pea and potato filled - 1 order came with 6). It was all over all very good and we are satisfied. Our leftovers are sitting the fridge right now - large portions. Chicken Biryani was good BUT PRETTY SPICY. I wish I would have clarified "MILD" if possible or less spicy. It gives me Mexican Arroz con pollo vibes but with indian spices. Chicken 65 was good - it looks like asian general tso or something but it tastes like indian with all the spices. Samosas were spicy too and crunchy. I would more than likely get it all again. Customer service was eh - the bare minimum: "how may I help you?" PLEASE READ If I could give a negative star, I would. I called them during my lunch break to place an order over the phone. Towards the end, the guy tells me I have to proved him a credit card so he can process it. I ask him "why can't I just show up and pay for it there". He tells me no because of the whole covid thing. Okay, I get why you want to be contactless but y'all don't even do curbside or drive thur. He tells me I still have to get off and wait for him at the window (see picture). I end up giving him my card info because I really want lunch and I want to try this place out. He tells me it'll be done in 20mins. Anyways I get there 20 mins later and food is still not there. Fine. I end up waiting another 8 minutes. I only have 30mins left for lunch. I park my car and boom there's no forks, knives, spoons, or napkins. How am I suppose to eat this as a take out???? Be prepared to wait longer than expected, be prepared to handle over sensitive information Over the phone, and check to ensure you got forks and napkins please. The food is good though.
