We came for lunch on a Friday, my husband and I tried their lunch combos, one vegetarian and one chicken. The food portion is generous, but mostly rice. We came at a peak time and did not get the fried little pieces of crunchy stuff that you are supposed to have with the combo. They didn't really ask how spicy we want the curries and biryani, so I assume it's mass cooked, and it was PRETTY spicy! Be ware in case you're not spice tolerant, perhaps ordering a dish that's more customizable would be better. I can tolerate a good bit of spice and it was still a lot for me, took a lot of ice water to wash it all down. The sweet soup is dessert and it was pretty tasty, but it's served with the hot sauce and yogurt sauce all at once, so make sure you actually try it and not just assume it's another condiment. Overall it was not bad but we will likely order specific entrees next time for more customization than the lunch combo. read more

A friend of mine told me about this place and even though it's on the complete opposite side of town it was worth the drive. I was expecting a larger place based on what I had heard, but it's small and very busy. Most of the business seems to be take out/delivery and it's non-stop. The place is clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. The menu is pretty extensive and that always worries me that they try to hard, but we all ordered something different and it was all amazing. The portion sizes are on the large size and I usually never walk away with leftovers, but I did here and the food was just as good the next day. We will definitely be going back again, even with the cross town traffic. read more

So don't get me wrong I love this place but last time I was here with my mum she found a pasting string in her rice from the bag the rice comes in most likely. Today I found a hair in one of the appetizer we like to order and the chicken was dry. The last Thanksgiving my niece found a piece of metal that holds the handle to the pan(grommet type piece). Probably the best Indian place in town. Along with Simi's Indian. Authentic and the flavors are wonderful. We tried several different dishes. The somosas were a little small, but still flaky and tasty. Naan was not the best, lacking flavor and not as fluffy as we would have wanted. The Cheese Kulcha was interesting (stuffed bread). Never had it before, but I love cheese, I love bread, how could I not love this? Crispy Andhra Masala Fried Fish was good. Like with all the other dishes, spices were great on it. The Hyderabadi dum biryani was awesome. Came with a hard boiled egg. We had it with Lamb, which was tender, moist, delicious. Basmati rice was a perfect compliment with a magnificent spice concoction. Tandoori Bone In Chicken came out steaming. It was a little chewy, but good flavor. We also had the yogurt based Mango Lassis, which were pretty much like every other Indian place, good. Good service, friendly, willing to provide recommendations, which is always appreciated. The first visit was phenomenal, but it went downhill from there. Lunch time is about getting in and out, however the staff won't pay much attention to you after the initial food and drink order. I'm disappointed. The food was good, but apparently I'm the wrong shade of brown to get good service at this address. Even with an empty glass displayed in the corner of my table, the server darted right past me to the table full of Indians sitting in the next booth. Meat free and dairy free. I ended up getting the punjabi samosas and the aloo-gabi masala. And can't forget the garlic naan!! So delicious! And completely meat free! Vegan food! This place is awesome! Very reasonably priced for the amount of food and I absolutely loved the authentic taste. 1) Chicken Tikka Masala: We got this hot and it was HOT! Do not order it hot if you're not good with heat. The flavors were extremely good, portions were great and it came with rice. The chicken is breast meat so it made it even better. 2) Punjabi Samosa...seriously one of the best samosas I have had in a while. The Imli chutney was amazing with this, I highly recommend getting this for appetizers. There are peas in there so if you're not a fan of that, here is the warning. 3) Naan: It's fairly sized, good flavor and it tasted fresh Overall good experience. We found out that biryani with boneless chicken happens on the weekend so I'm looking forward to coming back. read more

Gobi 65 was perfectly crisp and savory spicy with cilantro, lime and fresh red onion. It is expertly executed and surpasses a any non veg dish. A must try! Basil naan is perfect texture, not chewy or gummy. We've all had a naan chew toy before, not fun. These were excellent even when not dipped in curry gravy. Great redemption of my first review. My biggest complaint about this place is there service. I got a to go order on my break from classes, and their garlic naan was not good this time. It tasted old and it was hard and burnt. The other times were great. I called and just let them know, they told me they'd take my name and next time I ordered it'd be free. I called today to order to go for my break from classes and I gave them my name. They told me that they'd only pay for 1 when I had 3 from my last order that I paid for, and they told me I was lying since they never have any issues with any of their food. Yes their food is good, but don't tell me that you're perfect every time you serve food. I was so annoyed, and today I saw multiple of their cooks/servers coming working in sandals/slides without socks. Honestly I don't think I'd ever go there again, that's such a no no in the food industry. read more

It is in no way a fancy establishment, but the food is amazing. I have never been disappointed! The service was quick, and I did not wait long for my food. I ordered the Malai Kofta with a side of naan and was very pleased with the food! One of my favorite dishes, Malai Kofta is basically potato dumplings in curry and a great vegetarian dish! Food is Fantastic. The butter chicken is probably the best I've ever had. Goat meat biryani was phenomenal.

If you don't eat spicy food, you may just start after eating here. Their dishes are so good that you won't mind the spicy level. The shrimp 65 or any of their 65 dishes is what you need to try. It was amazing. It was spicy, but I just couldn't stop eating. You can change the spicy level to mild from medium. I also tried the crispy masala peppercorn, naan and palak paneer. The crispy masala is another must try dish. Just be careful cause they mix in the hottest Little peppers. I accidentally chewed on one and thought I was going to have to step out of the restaurant to cry. The restaurant seemed pretty busy with take out orders when we were there on a Friday night. The staff was friendly and were immediately given a pitcher of water when we sat down. I wish more places would do that for you. We didn't know who our waiter was and waited longer than expected for someone to take our order, but after that, all went smoothly. read more

Wife ordered the House Special Chicken curry (Andhra style). It had an excellent flavor but could have had a little more spice. Granted we just ordered the entree's without specifying the spice level. Prices are reasonable for a Indian Restaurant. This is NOT a buffet place so it helps if you know what you like. We always order the same thing here: chili chicken; corn; biryani goat; naan. Always amazing , this trip was no exception. I only have one suggestion (and it's not so serious !). The crispy corn is always piled so high on the platter (by the way, I don't know how they even do that!) that the kernels fall onto the table as we eat them.
