When I tracked down the waitress and asked about getting them, she said we should have told her when we ordered (there's nothing on the menu about having to say something. We were seated right away even though we arrived around lunch time (I assume it was durring the rush) food was amazing, we ordered the chicken and waffles, 2 by 4 and the strawberry crepes. The portion size was huge and there was more filling than the 3 tortillas could hold. Not sure if I was confused but the dish didn't come with hashbrowns as I remembered. I mentioned it to the nice gentleman who came over to check on us and they were out within minutes. The refried black beans were good but tasted like they came out of a can. I left it at 4 stars because my daughter was not as pleased with her french toast. It was a little dry and did not taste great with syrup. Husband and I stopped by for brunch on Saturday. We loved everything about this place! Food is from scratch and delicious! Service from Tara was on point and the manager stopped by to check on us as well. We shared I meat skillet and the mix of french toast, crepes and pancakes. We just discovered this restaurant a few months ago. We had no idea it had been there for two years! We have been several times for a brunch date while our kids are in school and have taken our kids there several times on the weekend as well. The food is yummy & the service is excellent! Yeah I am unbelievably satisfied with my experience at Biscuit. Firstly, if not for the delicious food, we would still be back simply to be served by Paige again. She was wonderful, knowledgeable, very upbeat and provided phenomenal service. Secondly, the food was extremely delicious. The steak with my steak and eggs was incredibly tender and delicious and cooked perfectly. The breakfast sandwich and French toast was very good and the beer biscuits were possibly my favorite item, although it was difficult to chose. Cannot stress enough how great Paige was to us! TL;DR Service is a 5/5 and food is a 6/5. Breakfast food is my favorite and it's safe to say I've tried out all the local ones this point. I can confidently say Biscuit takes the cake as far as breakfast spots in the area go. For one they are different. Breakfast spots are pretty typical. You know what to expect. Which is why I was surprised when I visited Biscuit for the first time. It's far from typical in all aspects and I think this will be the reason they are successful. They have a large menu with a number of things that actually got me excited. They had things I'm still thinking about and looking forward to going back to try. THIS is how all restaurants should be. Their biscuits also set them apart. Someone else in the reviews said it wasn't her typical salty biscuit that she was used to. Typical is boring. Don't be boring. Try the biscuits. They are phenomenal. Food is always more important to me than service but luckily this place has both down to an art. Waiters and waitresses have been very attentive thus far. My friend and I visited here for lunch. If you don't like rosemary I highly suggest to stay away from the chicken salad sandwich. The rosemary ruined it. My friend and I couldn't eat it. The menu should state that the chic salad has rosemary in it. We told the server and he replaced our meal with a BLT. BLT was good, but not the best I've ever had. Our server seemed on the slow side. I'm from out of State and stopped by for a mid morning breakfast I had heard the food was good and this was something new to try. 1st the service was great the hostess seated us right away and our waitress came quickly. Our server was great but the food wasn't. The "crispy" hashbrowns were over cooked to burnt all day the only thing i could taste was those burnt potatoes. I got the meat skillet eggs were over cooked and meat was too it was dry and hard. The biscuits were no better i really hated the food let this placed down. I've been waiting for this place to open because I LOVE biscuits and gravy. I noticed they opened and that they had gluten-free options. My daughter has celiac's disease so that made this place an option to go with her! I asked about cross-contamination and the manager came out and very nicely explained to me that they could do their best to keep her order gluten-free. She got the French toast and loved it. It was fine, she's 5, it was nothing special. I finally ordered my biscuits and gravy with a side of eggs and hash browns. Hashbrowns were decently seasoned. Eggs were fine. Biscuit was too sweet, nothing like a tall, southern, buttery, salty biscuit should be. They're called beer biscuits, so I'm not exactly sure what it's supposed to taste like, but it wasn't what I think most people's definition of a biscuit was. Gravy was also fine, nothing awesome. Food was all lukewarm. I had two kids with me, but even after getting them their food and finally getting to mine, my food is usually still pretty warm, this isn't my first rodeo dining out with them. I almost sent it back because it was abnormally cold but decided against it because of my kids. I was super disappointed in the lack of biscuit options too! If the place is called biscuit, I expect lots of delicious biscuit entree choices, but it seems like biscuits aren't exactly their forte. Menu had lots of options, maybe non-biscuit items are better. I am on a spree of running into great breakfast serving places. This place is absolutely amazing with classy interior and very warm staff. Their food tasted great too and their coffee is cut above the rest. Jordan, our waitress, was very pleasant and helpful too. She suggested all the good dishes I could try and I was absolutely amazed by her suggestions. I got the Denver omelette along with their fabulous regular coffee. The Denver omelette was huge in size and I could finish only half of it. The accompanying biscuit (with gravy) and the hash browns were equally great as the omelette. I went here because of the great reviews. Plano/Frisco restaurants are highly competitive and an 'average' food joint joint won't be able to sustain. I had the Frisco skillet and it was just not memorable; not well seasoned and the eggs were rubbery. I also had a side of pancakes that were on the dry side and just not very savory, and the syrup was like water. My spouse had a hamburger and said it was just 'ok'. I was really disappointed because the people were so friendly, service was great, and I liked the atmosphere. Unfortunately, it is not worth a return visit to me. read more

DO NOT, under any circumstances plan to dine here with more than four people on the weekend. Unfortunately, the restaurant does not take weekend reservations. My family and I arrived at 10:00 this morning (Sunday) after calling in advance to make them aware that we had a party of 10 en route. The hostess who answered the phone made me aware that while they would be able to accommodate us, the call ahead would have no impact as seating was first come first serve. Upon arrival we were advised that there would be a 30 minute wait. After 20 minutes it was clear that there was no real plan to seat us. I spoke to the manager who apologized and began to check in every 10 minutes until we were seated 40 minutes later. After an hour wait, four members of my birthday party had to leave. The fact that we needed 1 less table provided an opportunity for them to seat the 2 large parties that cam in behind us a little faster. It should also be noted that the restaurant is so busy that they struggle to keep the space cool in the Texas heat. I guess you could say that they are victims of their own success. Let's be clear, as a person who dines out frequently I understand that there is almost always a wait for Sunday brunch. Our wait time could have been reduced had the hostess begun to create a space for us when I called. All of this could be avoided if they took reservations on their busiest days i.e. Saturday and Sunday. I am not sure what the management team is hoping to accomplish with this policy. The location is good. The decor is nice. The staff is friendly. The coffee is strong. The food is okay. We ordered a variety of skillets and shrimp & grits. If your wait is less than 30 minutes you might enjoy your food more. read more

We wanted to find a good brunch experience and Biscuit was a great place. It's a nice warm environment with plenty of seating with a patio area as well. We came as a four top and were seated rather quick within 3 minutes and the place was full; "I think we got lucky there". Wait staff was great she was very attentive and helpful. They do not use any peanut oil either, so perfect if your allergic to peanuts. The price is just right for the portion size which by the way is huge. You wont leave hungry l, and you will most likely have leftovers. I had the I love meat skillet which was really good and it came with a side or your choice. Either two pancakes or beer batter biscuits. I got the two pancakes but I substituted the plain for the chocolate chip and the fruity pebble pancakes. All in all I would visit here again just to try more stuff because they have alot of good looking and good tasting food. I had a latte and I wasn't two impressed with it especially for the four dollar price tag behing it, it felt more like a 2 dollar latte at most, that's why I'm going to be leaving a 4 star review. This has to be the best brunch I've had in a long time. I've lived in DC, Houston, Chicago and now Dallas. Biscuit has a wide selection of all the things I wanted to try on one trip. I can be a bit picky about how I want my food prepared but they nailed it. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day so I could eat here everyday of the year.
