My husband and I both ordered shrimp and grits and we shared a short stack of pancakes. The shrimp and grits came with complimentary biscuits. The meal was just ok. I love shrimp and grits and my expectations were high coming in. The grits were on the watery side and were not seasoned at all. It was a hot sauce on it so I expected some heat. Still looking for it. I asked for more cheese and salt for the grits. I couldn't season it enough! ‍ The pancakes were fine and they brought out hot syrup I saw in a review something about if you've had Barbec's it's similar... not so much. I thought I tasted the flavor of barley or beer flavor, but the biscuit was a bit too doughy for my liking. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating, so there you have it! I really wanted to love this place, great decor, lovely staff, but the food and thought in the menu just fell so short. The food was not bad, but when you call yourself, Biscuit, that should be the star. To start off with, missing one of their 'signature' bacons, and sour cream, is inadequate, but when you offer to give me more avocado, I expect more than the tiny dollop, like there was nothing replaced in the pile. There is nothing on the menu that highlights the biscuit, not speciality items. They use store bought jelly, all be it nice brand, they could have a biscuit bar with homemade jams, jellies, butters for dirt cheap and charge for it....highlight the star! It will do fine as you can see from initial reviews because there are limited sit down breakfast places here....only other I could think of was Normas, and this place seems fancier from the door than Normas....who does have fantastic biscuits. read more

We came here today for brunch and it is now our favorite brunch restaurant. We order egg Benedict and French toasts. They are all very tasty. The price is fair for the portion. This rating is based on service alone. We just had our father's day breakfast here. My husband and I enjoyed the food and our waitress was great. But the two hostesses, a young girl and young man at the front, don't realize or care about the importance of customer service. Although we were seated promptly weren't greeted when we arrived or even given a friendly face. I thought maybe we were an isolated case but they were just as cold to everyone else. read more

Hash browns needed more salt and were kind of crispy on the top (I'm forever on the hunt for delicious crispy browns, and this place definitely did not meet that mark). Overall, nothing terrible (although we were somewhat unlucky to be seated in the outdoor area next to the back door that another guest kept getting up to use every 10 minutes so we'd get chilly pretty frequently), but nothing amazing about the food or service. We went on Mother's Day and it was quite busy. We sat at the bar. Poor Carlos the cook was being yelled at every 5 seconds by the guy with the man bun. Carlos took it with stride and never seemed upset. If I were Carlos I would have said screw this and just walked out as much as he was being yelled at. Carlos deserves a raise and more respect. I can't describe how much I love this place I come a lot to be honest . I came one day after class cause it's right next to collin . And I got the crepes . They were insane ! Then I tried a Mediterranean salad also phenomenal!! I try not to do reviews cause I work in the service industry and I feel like it's either super beneficial or it can hurt someone badly. This place has some of the best staff I have met. They were very accommodating to our busy family of 5--we had just been seated and then something came up and we had to leave. Our first time experience was AMAZING, mostly credited to our server, Lalo. He was extremely attentive and friendly. The service was great and we didn't have to wait too long! Hands down the best breakfast and lunch restaurant around. My girlfriend and I decided we wanted to try some place new for breakfast and we were not let down at all. The environment was extremely friendly and welcoming. Our server (Maria) was absolutely amazing. She was extremely polite, respectful, had great recommendations for food choices and was always there if we needed someone. Our food came out way faster than I would have ever expected or have seen from any other restaurant around. I was also amazed at the prices. Everything on the menu is very affordable with generous sized plates. Ask to hold the French Toast side until the end and they kept bringing it out. And of course it was the same just sitting in the window... we could see it from our table. I have been coming here since they opened - it was the last place we had eaten before Covid and the first place we ventured out to when restaurants started re-opening. Today my husband and I stopped in for breakfast (for me before heading into work) there were 3 servers and about 6 tables with guests in the entire restaurant. We were seated and proceeded to wait 10 minutes with no acknowledgement of any kind. Meanwhile one of the servers had put a bucket on her head and was messing around with the other 2 servers. I determined at this point it was probably not a great choice as I didn't have 2 hours set aside to eat breakfast. As we were leaving I mentioned to the manager that we had waited 10 minutes and hadn't been helped she gave a very vague "I'm so sorry...." No effort to keep our business or to address the issue. Makes sense that the servers feel comfortable ignoring guests and playing around, the manager clearly doesn't care!! I've always enjoyed their food but this experience has truly left a sour taste. There are a large number of great breakfast restaurants in Frisco so Biscuit can get along without us!! read more
