We moved to Frisco in August, and their sign was up, but they weren't open yet. We eagerly watched and waited for them to open because we love breakfast. Finally they opened! It's beautiful inside, with a nice patio, and we usually eat before the crowds, so we never wait and there are a lot of attentive staff members. The owner/manager (not sure which) also walks around and checks on guests. We've been there three times now. I was surprised that the menu wasn't all biscuits. Because we are breakfast people, we haven't checked out the lunch menu, but the breakfast menu has something for everyone. The eggs Benedict is maybe the best we've ever had. Sometimes at other establishments the hollandaise sauce is too lemony or the eggs are over or under cooked. These were perfect. The biscuits and gravy are to die for. When I order eggs over medium, the whites aren't runny, which is often a problem. The apple cinnamon waffle is also delicious. The only thing I haven't liked was the side of sweet potatoes, which were unexpectedly spicy. The portions are good sized, and you get two biscuits on the side, and they have good jam choices, not just the usual strawberry and grape. Even the kids' meals are enough for my 8 and 10 year old boys. The coffee is good and they have nice creamer choices. This is our breakfast location of choice now. read more

When in the North Central Dallas area, my family and I love stopping by Biscuit for breakfast and/or lunch. Their menu is among the most extensive I've seen, and the food we receive is consistently hot, fresh, flavorful, and scrumptious, and the portions are generous. Those beer biscuits are awesome, and their French Toast is La nourriture est hors du commun! (Pardon my French--translation: "out of this world"). We've been here a few times, service has not always been great, but the food was good so we've been back. Honestly, today will probably be our last time. Service was great today, but when I got the bill it had an additional $.75 charge on a skillet. I questioned why and was told because I had cheese and scrambled eggs on it. I looked at the menu and it said both are included. To have an up charge for something that is clearly stated is included is ridiculous. Also, the fact that the server did not tell me that when I ordered is a huge problem for me. I left 4 stars because food and service is good, but we will not be back. read more

Monday 5/24 10-12am. Wow!! Was avid diners pre-Covid and my wife and I would go twice a month for breakfast. Post Covid, on our 2nd experience we walked out after being seated, waited over 20 mins watching staff goof around doing nothing, one even having a bucket on his head behind the counter. Wife sent a review and was offered a free meal...(2mos ago). Today she finally opted to give another try. Busy for a Monday morning, didn't mind the wait...once I convinced the hostess to write down names of the 6 groups of patrons waiting as well. Finally seated, and after 30mins of waiting noticed 2 tables that arrived 20mins after us being served food. I finally explained to our server the situation and he got our food immediately. It had been sitting under the heat lamp for about 20+ mins. A bowl of oatmeal, pancakes, and 2 eggs w/sides. All of which felt and tasted toasted. Literally picked up a pancake and was as stiff as cardboard, crunchy too. I'm NOT asking for a reply or a comp meal again, trust me!!! I understand the restaurant industry has taken a huge hit finding help....but OMG, get someone who can multitask instead of stand around like the Mgr this morning was doing!!! Our server, not sure of his name, but well built Af Amer dude, rocked it!!! Very cordial and kept busy helping when he could. The burger I had was so good I felt like I was cheating on my wife, and I never thought I would taste fries so good. They were cut broad and thin and seasoned just enough. The pancakes were light and fluffy (yeah, I plate pilfered, they looked too good). Portions are more than ample and a great value for a decent price. I've visited Biscuit twice now, once to dine in and once for a takeout order and to say I've been impressed is an understatement. It's hard to come by all around great breakfast spots here but they've been fantastic so far. I give them an A+ on food... very very good and it was still warm and fresh by the time I got it home. Chicken crepe was outstanding and my wife loved the panini. Portions are very large. The meat skillet was delicious and filling. I tried it when I dined in and still had some left to-go. Also had the beer biscuits... not your standard biscuit but delicious nonetheless. I recommend trying them. All staff was very friendly both times and waitress was very attentive when I dined in, making sure coffee was filled, clearing plates etc. Location is clean and nice as well. We love Biscuit! Been there a number of times and tried new things each time. I love their sweet potato hash... tiny diced sweet potatoes mixed with onions and peppers. Keeps the potatoes easy to eat and the right consistency. The biscuits are delicious. I just had a horrible experience at this establishment. I have a brunch group with about 90 members. Our brunch size ranges from 8-20+. I called last week to make reservations for 8 and was told they don't accept reservations. We arrive this morning at 9:45 and head in about 9:55 to be placed on the waitlist to be seated. The hostess was short with me and didn't really want to be bothered. I had to ask if she was going to take my name to call out when our table was ready. Like I had to ask her to take my name and not the other way around. We waited 20 minutes. We saw smaller parties be seated but that's normal. A party of 10 that arrived 10 minutes after us were seated first. When we asked why the hostess rudely told me that it was because they had a reservation. But when I called a week ago they didn't take reservations. And I told her that. Then she changed the story and said they were there first. Nope! Try again. We were here first. We opted to leave. A manager was near but he kind of ignored it until we said we were leaving. He then runs out after me and says sorry for the confusion but they were seated first because they had small children and elderly people. What? I'm not sure if it was because some members of my party and I were black or because we were lesbians but no matter what we went to biscuit bar and gave them our business. Never again. read more

After 30 minutes we got seated. The same 2 empty booths on the covered patio were still empty. Ordered chicken tenders. Asked for Ranch as a dip sauce and was told the ranch was soooo good but it would cost .79 cents extra. Asked for gravy on my mashed potato's was told that would be extra too. Got food. Chicken bland, Corn zero seasoning, mashed potato's tasted Rancid. Gravy zero seasoning. Mgr. took 10% off bill for bad potatoes. When I saw those fruity pebble pancakes I was excited about this place.....boy were we disappointed! Placed a to go order.....my meal was wrong, no hollandaise sauce and the poached eggs were over cooked so no sort of sauce at all. They forgot the eggs with the chicken fried steak breakfast and put the gravy on the steak for a to-go order! Can't remember the last time I had a chicken fried steak to-go order where they put the gravy directly on it, so it became soggy, no one wants soggy chicken fried steak and the steak/gravy had little to no flavor, definitely needed seasoning. The oil they cooked the hash browns in tasted funky, maybe old or something, just not right. And the bacon, sad bacon, just about the same bacon you'd find at iHop or Denny's. Only giving 2 stars bc they did refund our money and they have a more creative breakfast menu. But after eating the food, it's just bad and won't go back. Wow! So amazed and pleasantly surprised by this place. My sister and I randomly picked a place for breakfast as we were driving through the shopping center and absolutely loved it. The food (omelets, French toast, fruit) was amazing and they have HUGE portions. The host was friendly and our server Angela was super friendly and attentive!! The restaurant itself is cute and has a great atmosphere. The bathrooms are clean and I appreciate the fact that they have changing tables in case you have your baby with you.
