I cannot rave enough about the level of service provided by B&B. We are customers at the Tribeca location. We initially had used another dog walking service and had to solicit for feedback from the walkers, even while dealing with a young puppy who had numerous medical issues (giardia, UTIs, etc.). B&B's level of service could not be more opposite. They provide daily feedback notes for us indicating our puppy's disposition, whether she relieved herself, whether she was given water, etc...all of the relevant details an owner would want to know. We have also used trainer Tamar for a few in-home sessions and she is immensely knowledgeable. She also attends their complimentary puppy play groups on Thurs nights and provides useful insights. Finally, the customer service folks that answer calls for all of their locations are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and return my calls and inquiries promptly. David, in particular, has been incredibly helpful with service and rewards points usage recommendations, as well as coordinating very flexible care post-her spaying procedures. All-in-all, B&B is a first-rate business based on my experiences thus far. read more

Very happy to discover B&B in our neighbourhood and for the first couple of years we were generally happy. We used them for grooming and vet appointments with transport services for three dogs. Prices were high but we thought it was worth it. Unfortunately, this year the services have gone downhill significantly. They forgot to groom our Shih Tzu once (but didn't forget to charge for it) and then offered to complete the service the following week with a free blueberry facial (or something like that.) Imagine my surprise when I was charged for the pick up and drop off as well as the item they said would be free! Of course, I couldn't tell since I have NEVER received any itemized bill except when I have asked. Once I started asking and reviewing, I have found discrepancies - one which resulted in over $200 refund. The grooming service for our other dogs were fine, but they were also easy to do. The Shih Tzu has been a nightmare - we want a shaggy, "real" cut, basically trim up the natural hair - last time they did a puppy cut and this time they completely shaved him short. For summer this might work out better, but it is not what we asked for. I am not sure what changed this year or if I am just more sensitive to their business practices. But just proceed with some caution and question everything! read more

We started with the doggie day care on a special, and then switched to daily walks when we decided to hold of neutering the pup, and then double daily walks when we got injuries and our dog needed to get out more than we could do. It's been about four months of B&B all together. The people who work in doggie day care and the walkers are super. The pup really has a good time with them, and they all seems to be really kind and nice, to him and us. For the most part we have regular walkers, no big turnover. However, when our schedule started it was kind of bumpy with walkers and timing. Also communications within B&B can be iffy - walkers showing up when you've cancelled on the phone, etc., and getting the schedule down pat (my fault too). But overall, B&B is extremely accommodating, like coming back if I was out with the pup when they first came by to walk him. It's pricey, but I've been happy with the services, especially during the awful winter weather, where walkers came no matter the conditions, and if they were running late, I got a call. So thanks B&B for making the cooped up winter in an apartment with a crazy Jack Russell easier. read more

The staff at Tribeca Biscuits and Bath couldn't be more wonderful with my Puppy Sadie Rose. She goes regularly for doggy day care and has also been boarded there when we were traveling. The first time leaving her while traveling they gave us regular updates to make sure we knew she was having a blast. Now she's meet many play friends and the staff always knows her when she walks in. Lucky to have a place to put Sadie in a safe and fun environment. read more

The first year with our adopted Cockapoo (Sam) has been a rough one, to say the least. Our little guy has had a handful of health issues, and without the concern and expertise of Dr. McDonald, we'd be lost! She has been so kind and patient with me and my seemingly endless questions about the care of our pup and knowing that we have her on our team is really comforting. She's always been swift in her replies to my emails, and I'm not sure if there are other Vets in NYC that would be so readily accessible! I've leaned on her a lot and I can't say enough about how much she's helped us. Beyond the excellent Vet staff, Helen and the other gals at B&B Tribeca are outstanding -- super sweet, kind and always so welcoming. Sam loves been greeted by them each time we have an appointment! It's adorable that despite all the different puppies they see, they always welcome Sam by name and are ready with treats and belly rubs. I can't recommend B&B Tribeca enough! read more

I purchased the Yelp deal and went to B&B an brought in my Shih-poo, Sparky, on a Tuesday before work to have him groomed and a full day of day-care. The staff was extra sweet and genuinely seemed to care about all the dogs there, knowing every single pups name and owner. My dog was extremely shy and scare but he quickly warmed up to the staff and when i went to visit him he didn't even notice i was there! He enjoyed running round with the other dogs (supervised by an employee inside the play area with a mop in hand). When i picked him up after the grooming his hair was a little on the short side but i grew to love the cut. He nails were perfectly trimmed and he was exhausted, i mean asleep the entire train ride home (he loves looking around and staying up and alert.) Only thing i noticed is he was really thirsty when he got home (drank his entire bowl of water without stopping. But besides that i should def be returning. read more

My experience with the TriBeCa location of Biscuits and Bath has been great. The management and staff at the location is amazing. Tylar, Helen, and Lauren are attentive, positive, and helpful. The crew that works behind the front desk is also great. I'm basing this review in comparison to other dog care services that I have tried in the area including: dog walking service (private company,) the Wagging Tail, and Spot. Here's what I appreciate about Biscuits and Bath: 1. The people!!!! They like dogs and you can tell by how they interact with the doggies. They are also good with people. You never get a 'tude from these ladies. They are super friendly! 2. The cleanliness of the place- I am a neat freak and I appreciate their focus on cleanliness.. The center never smells and is well lit. 3. They separate big dogs from the little guys (I have. 10lb shih mix so this is important to me) 4. They offer grooming services and training services while your dog is at daycare. This is a great feature for busy professionals. 5. Website- you can check your account online. (This is not the cheapest alternative in the neighborhood, but you get what you pay for.) 6. Follow-up- they call periodically to solicit feedback and to see how things are going. NONE of the other services that I've tried ever bothered to ask about my dog and how he was adjusting. 7. My dog is a white fluffy little guy and I am very particular about his coat being clean and free of dirt/debris. The team at BnB tries their best to make sure that when I pick him up, he's been wiped down. I've never had an issue with him coming home filthy (which happened OFTEN at the other doggie daycares that I have tried.) Most importantly, when I pick up my dog each day, he is happy to see me, but also sad that playtime with his buddies has come to an end. By the time we get home he is well exercised, played out, pooped out, and all around happy. read more

I've been taking my dog to B&B for over 3 years now. We're enrolled in the monthly day care package, so interacting with the B&B staff is a part of my everyday routine, whether in person, over the phone or via email. Although we attend the UES location and can't speak for Tribeca, I do know that consistency in guidelines and standards of practice are paramount to B&B and are expected to be maintained across the board, no matter what location your dog is at. I won't be dismissive of anyone's negative experience they may have had, but as a loyal customer, it's hard for me to read some of these comments without responding. For more times than I can count B&B has had my back in desperate times or personal emergencies. They're always there for an unexpected late drop off home, a special trip to buy his special brand of dog food when he ran out during an overnight stay, and have even been the savior that let me back into my apartment when I locked myself out. To Jonathan's comments below, I'm glad you found what you were looking for finally in a dog service. By your description below, it seems like you were expecting B&B to be a personalized nanny service for your dog. They simply aren't when it comes down to it, nor do they claim to be. It's simply unfair to put unrealistic expectations on anyone or any company and then slam them publicly when they don't 'perform'. I sympathize though, because I can understand how you might have thought they were a customized nanny service for the following reasons: 1) They make you feel like you're their best, if not only customer, yet they actually have hundreds & hundreds of dogs & clients that are getting the same one on one attention & treatment as you & yours. 2) They try to personalize you & your dog's (or dogs') needs as best as possible without hindering the care of other dogs. 3) They follow up daily with notes or phone calls to check in with you and your dog. 4) They know the secret itchy spots on your dog or his/her quirky personality traits as if it were their own dog. 5) Your dog responds to the staff with exuberant enthusiasm as if they were family members. It saddens me to know you plan on spreading these disparaging comments across any platform you can. I hope you spread joy as easily as you spread negativity. read more

This place is amazing. We take our puppy to the Tribeca location and he absolutely loves it! Helen is the manager and has accommodated every request we ever had. Whenever I see him interact with the staff he is extremely excited and comfortable with them, which makes it obvious that he is well taken care of. There is nothing they don't do, they give him medicine when he needs it, feed him with the special instructions we provide, and give him nap time breaks if we ask them to because he gets so tired from playing all day. These bad reviews make no sense to me, this place is worth every penny. Our puppy comes home exhausted from playing with all his friends and just wants to snuggle all evening, then is eagerly dragging us back when we get to close to B&B each morning. read more

I strongly DO recommend Biscuits and Bath... We found out about this amazing company /service when my daughter was sick and I was unable to take our young dog to the doggy park- (which, being a NYC dog - had been the high point of her day....) What a revelation it was for our dog and our family. Now instead of an hour of great doggy time and the rest of the day lying around an apt , she plays all day long, and gets the attention of humans who are there to shower her with attention and love- Though i often was home, as I am a stay at home mother it was not that she would be left alone all day, but it is a very different thing for her to be with humans that can focus on her. As well as with her canine friends. Additionally, a sad fact of city life is that one cannot take ones dog and ones child to the same park. And as a parent of a young school aged child, before we found Buscuits and Bath, my daughter had to sit in the dog park with me a good deal of the time, instead of getting to play with other children. I hadnt realized how big an impact this had on her till we started Buscuits and Bath full time. Also, Because i didnt want to leave our dog at home alone, and wanted her to get out as often as possible, I would bring her to the school to pick my daughter up, but then we were restricted in where we could go.... now we can head strait to the monkey bars.Or a play date with a friend, or for a snack in a local eatery....we dont have to worry about bringing the dog home first and about not wanting to be out all afternoon so our doggy wont be left alone... The other thing i want to say is that I have found dealing with all the employees, on whatever level - from the folks behind the desk to those in with the dogs to the animal lovers who came to walk Jenny when she was home sick (for no additional fee- ) to those in administrative positions to be unusually attentive- and animal loves all. On the rare occasion that we have had an issue arise -we found our concerns were taken seriously, and reacted to in a singular and proactive manner. Also, it is our experience that our dog is safer at Biscuits and Bath where they do their best to insure that all dogs be up on their vaccines- than in the doggy park, where they dont. (They have a vet on the grounds who can provide this service if you cant get to the vet every six months.) Also, the doggy park was filthy. Maybe hosed down once a day but as it was used as a doggy latrine by dogs whose owners were not always considerate or focused on what their dog was doing, I consider that to be yet another huge benefit of Biscuits. There if, i dog does relieve him herself inside, there is someone whose job it is to immediately clean it up - with soap and water... I honestly cant say enough about how huge an improvement , in all our lives , this company has been. read more

We have had an excellent experience with B&B in Tribeca, the staff is always friendly and helpful. Helen in particular was helpful in finding us a great package that would benefit us and our dog the most. They are very caring and attentive and always have feedback on how our dog was doing during the day. An added bonus is receiving videos and pictures of your dog throughout the day. I would NOT recommend B&B to anyone. Our puppy had gone to another day care facility for weeks and came home happy and healthy. When we picked him up from the B&B in Tribeca he was alone in a separate room, had thrown up during the day, not eaten anything, and cried for 30 minutes after we left. The smaller dogs are all crowded in one tiny room together without toys and the floor was dirty. I will never bring him back here. read more

I have been taking my dog to Biscuits and Bath since he was a puppy and have had very few problems (outside of a case or two of kennel cough, which is extremely common for puppies and his breed). He has grown up with the gracious, friendly and dog-loving staff at various locations throughout the city, but most frequently the Tribeca location. Although I am not there with him all day, I know that he has a great time because he comes home exhausted from playing all day and is always excited whenever we go back. read more

We have been customers of Biscuits & Bath for almost two years. While they are not cheap, time and time again I am reminded that we get what we pay for. I have not experienced any issues with injuries, cleanliness or my dog being left unattended. Quite the opposite - my dog has been accommodated many times when I have made special requests, and even when I haven't. The Tribeca location in particular has very friendly and helpful staff who clearly love the dogs. B&B is a great option for people who don't want to leave their pet at home alone all day. read more

i am a relative newcomer to B&B -- and a first time dog owner 5 months into adoption of a rescue pup. I tried B&B after first trying another doggy daycare operation closer to my home and watching my dog be ignored for 2 hours as she tried to escape - no one spoke a word or patted or reassured her in any way on her first day. The contrast between that place (I removed my dog after 2 hours) and Biscuits & Bath was remarkable: B&B has been unfailingly attentive to detail, affectionate with, and protective toward my dog. They have been generous with their help (to me) and care (of my dog). I have witnessed various employees holding, petting, speaking to, and training my dog when they did not know they were being observed. I have never seen a dog there -- even when there's a crowd -- that looked unattended or in need. The genuine enthusiasm B&B staff have for the dogs is evident at every turn. I do not worry about my dogs health or happiness when she is in their care -- that's worth a great deal to me. read more
