The portions are pretty hefty and my Veggie Omelet was really nicely done, lots of shrooms and avocados, and a nice slab of toast to go with. Coffee is decent, but not great, but as I said, service was top notch. A classic diner chain that's a step above Elmer's. I will say the biscuits are excellent! This location is huge with lots of seating - easily able to take our group of 10 at lunch time. Wonderful location, spacious, open and bright. The food was fabulous! Loved the French toast flight and mimosa flight. Unfortunately even getting there early we weren't immune to the understaffing. Once we got served our food I never saw the waitress at our table again, we waited and waited and waited and I finally had to just get up and find her for the bill. Biscuits Cafe is my go to spot here in Lake Oswego, Oregon. I found this amazing place by accident i was driving my grand kids to school and after dropping off my youngest grandson at his elementary school I saw this place. Once I enter to investigate if this was a great place and it was, to my surprise everyone in the restaurant were happy enjoying their conversations and their food as well. The wait staff greeted you with a huge smile "Welcome to Biscuits, how many in your party"? I said I was alone and taken to my table, the place was very clean the atmosphere was great decor matched this great café. Memu options were many to choose from. Fresh coffee was fantastic, it doesn't matter what you ordered it was made fresh and spot on with flavor. This Cafe became my go to place and on the weekends I would bring my grand children. You see I'm from Southern California and I was up here taking care of my grand kids while at the time our daughter was deployed. My wife would stay home take care of our family business and I was to make sure our grand kids didn't need to leave and change schools or brought to So Cal while their mother was away. We (my wife and i) felt they should stay in their schools, be around friends and continue their education where they started. Our daughter has retired from the US Air Force (March 2026) and every time we come to Lake Oswego it's the first place we come to breakfast They now serve liquor drinks which before they didn't have them when I first started. If you haven't tried i almost certain you will enjoy their food and make your own memories with family or friends. read more

We arrived at 2:00 and were told they weren't serving any food, only takeout (other patrons were seated and eating). When we said that their hours say they are open till 2:30, they just shrugged. They weren't overly busy; we were seated right away and then ignored for 15-20 minutes before we got up and walked out. Other tables were sat after us in the same section and were taken care of immediately. The tables that were already there were also being taken care of. We sat there and tried to get the wait staff's attention and either we were not loud enough or they did not care. While visiting home the other day we tried this location before an event we were going to and wow what a spot! It's not bougie, hipster, or the most amazing breakfast I've ever had, but the veggie omelet I had had fresh veggies and was cooked well. Hashbrowns on the side we're crispy, and the sourdough with raspberry jam was actually quite excellent. Coffee a bit weak, but fine. Service good and food came out very quickly. Omelettes - both were like they literally dumped the ingredients on one side without cooking them and flipped the other side of the egg scramble over it. No seasoning and no mixture of the ingredients. Additionally, my veggie omelette had 95% bell pepper! No avocado or cream cheese to be found and very little mushroom and onions. Visiting Portland and this is our first dine out halt after Thanksgiving day! Surprisingly they had no wait time, we were seated right away! The hostess was pretty nice and helpful! We placed the order and it came super fast! The kids meal we order was absolute value for money! My husband's breakfast burrito was very good! I ordered for 'eggs your way'- the portion or egg was pretty less and so was the toast- just one. Almost all places would serve decent portion size of eggs and 2 toasts! The hash brown was done well and a large portion of that! May be little less of hash and more of toast and egg- that would be better !!! read more
